I have utilized this service twice, and my experiences have been a mix of satisfaction and significant concern. The first instance went smoothly, and I had no issues. However, during my second interaction, a rather distressing situation unfolded. I entrusted a package valued at over $100 to this office, with the understanding that it would be transferred to the USPS postal service. Regrettably, upon contacting USPS, they informed me that they had no record of receiving my package. It is important to note that I left my package in the care of the office manager, who was responsible for applying a label to it. Unfortunately, I did not witness the labeling process. Nevertheless, I explicitly informed the manager about the valuable contents of the box, as I was in the process of returning an expensive order to an online store.Upon returning three weeks later and seeking clarification regarding my missing package, I was met with a response that shifted blame onto the USPS postal service. I want to emphasize that I am not willing to simply accept this situation and move on. I am in the process of filing complaints with the relevant authorities to ensure that justice is served.

They broke a 200 dollar frame that has been in my family for 40 years. To ship the frame from Vancouver, WA to Fairfax, VA, they put the thinnest single sheet (see picture) of bubble wrap around it and it hoped for the best. I bet the frame didn't make it 2 miles down the road before it broke. Furthermore, the manager would not accept responsibility and refused to pay for the damage. If I knew they weren't going to wrap it like a reputable shipping center, I would have taken it somewhere else. Everything else I shipped from Vancouver to Fairfax during the same time frame made it without issue. The only difference is I didn't use this mail and business center for those items.

They had pretty trinkets and some clothes for sale, although only very petite sizes. It was super hot in there on a sunny September day. The lines were long that day. There were two lines but neither moved for a long time and then a lady came in and hopped right into a line as it moved, which really wasn't fair so I pre-empted her. When it was my turn, the cashier did not exchange any courtesy phrase or thank me for waiting. The wait had been about 10 minutes. I know, because my leg had gone on fire. I said it was cooler up by her (she had a fan), but she didn't respond in a positive way. I don't know what chip on her shoulder I activated by complaining about the heat but it seemed to upset her. She was also loud and indiscreet, trying to state my personal info and the name and address of the recipient loudly. When I asked if she could be a little more private, she didn't seem to like that. Without explaining why she needed it, she asked me how to pronounce the recipients name. She did not have a need to know the pronunciation. I left, because I had just stated that I didn't want personal information read out loud. I wish she would have explained exactly what she needed and why. I went to a nearly identical place of service afterward and finished the transaction. The process was similar, but the tone at the other place was so much more welcoming and friendly.

The ladies who are behind the counter are friendly and outgoing and have always been a great help with any questions or concerns I have had. Efficient and knowledgeable and am always greeted with a smile.

Cashier seemed new and frustrated. Printed out one shipping label that covered half of a page and was charged $2.98. That is insane. I used to work for another free standing postal store recently and that would have costed $0.33 there. Only reason I didn't go there is because this is closer to my house. Also was not offered a receipt, which I only realized as I was writing this review.
