A lot of these posts are old. This is 2023. I've lived here almost 1 year. Personally I like it. I feel very safe and comfortable. It is clean and maintained. Everyplace has there problems but I feel like the Staff does a good job handling things. With this many people living in a complex there are bound to be conflicts. I have never seen any abuse or disrespect. Personality conflicts between tenants is minimal. What do you expect when you put a bunch of old opionated people together?

I really wish website had even a basic range of price for studio and 1 bedroom apartments. Market rate and subsidized, and what the average wait time is for an apartment. I realize prices change and vary but it could be posted "as of December 2024...."

Even one star is too much! It’s filthy!! Plumbing backs up! People are rude! Trash deposits are NEVER CLEANED! Smells like garbage in the apts! Maintenance is needed in every room…This place steals the last bit of self worth these poor people had…I could go on forever…but check out the flag hanging outside! Don James you will soon be approached!!!! If this isn’t printed, I will have even more fodder to use..

NOT A WARM CARING ENVIRONMENT, BULLYING, DISRESPECT, NEWSLETTERS THAT ARE DEMEANING, CRITICAL, AND BORDER ON ILLEGAL NAME CALLING OF ALL RESIDENTS.

We had to move my mother-in-law out of there. She caught COVID-19 there plus a handful of other terrible experiences. She absolutely did not want to go back, not even to get her things, we are doing it for her.

The management would be better suited to work at a prison. Disrespectful, if you have a problem they say they are not your Agony Aunt, treating the elderly rudely as if they are naughty children. Making accounting mistakes they won't take responsibility for. They refused to sign an American Disability Act form to accomodate me that an attorney suggested I send complete with Doctors RX, and they never returned it. I only live here because it is a HUD building and I am low income. It is oppressive and controlling in every way.

Went in to ask for an application for a client. Stood there for 20 minutes while the lady ignored me. Left without application.

Very friendly place to go and deliver groceries. The people that are in there are nice friendly and the caregivers are definitely friendly.

The feeling of community, the genuine caring of staff and residents for each other. The safe environment for all no matter their abilities or disabilities. There are a variety of optional activities, pleasant rooms and caring managers.
