A big shout out to Kenna Scott and Mary Camargo who helped me with some insurance policy changes. They were very patient with me and walked me through the process. Thank you!

I have had a car loan with IQ for 4 years. It has been nothing but problems since the beginning. I have had to dispute my credit score history due to issues with this Union. I was told there would be a skip a pay on my account at the beginning of the year. I continued to make payments and now they are saying I owe them an outrageous amount of money. They constantly call my phone and always say the are taking notes or updating my information but nothing ever changes. Magically after calling them out on wanting an explanation to the payment history issue, the lady I spoke with told me she could see all of the payments being posted including during the month a skip a pay was suppose to happen, she had no explanation for why they were saying I was 6 MONTHS behind. (Funny because after 2 months they would repo the vehicle???) She stated she wasn't sure what was going on and would contact me back by the end of the day. 5 days later and I still haven't heard anything from them. I had my credit score drop drastically because they reported I wasn't paying. This Credit Union has been nothing but a joke since the start and I would never recommend someone to this place. I have worked for a bank before and this is not the way to treat your clients. I read the review about GAP from IQ and now question whether it was worth it...

We have been members of IQ credit union for 19 years. We opened our account when we first moved to Washington. They have been great to us, always polite and very helpful. They were there and make it easy for us to get a home equity loan when we needed it. We have been pleased with their service. VW

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH IQ CREDIT UNION. 1. GAP FROM IQ CREDIT UNION IS A SCAM. 2. THEY HOLD YOUR VEHICLE TITLE FOR 2 WEEKS JUST BECAUSE It's a scam, all GAP insurance policies I have purchased from dealerships will return a prorated rate if you sell the vehicle or just want to cancel the gap! This isn't true for IQ, they only give you 60 days to cancel. Plus, I paid off my vehicle loan. They say they need to verify the funds, but the funds was cash and cashier checks. There is no reason to hold my title for 2 weeks, why does it take 2 weeks to verify cash and a cashier check? I have paid off vehicles from several other credit unions and been able to get my title in a few days! Plus, they have treated me so bad...patronizing and talking down to me when all I want to do is get my GAP refund and my title...I paid off a $57k loan and they treat me like they hate my business! Will never do business with this credit union.

I just want to say your customer service is awful and does not help their customers and community! My friends card was switched with someone's card that belongs to your union and the customer service provided no help to return their card to them. In turn they could not get their card back from them! The restaurant did not help us either. I think you need to find a better service to treat and care for your customers! This is ridiculous and the worst bank service I have ever dealt with. No wonder your ratings are garbage thanks for nothing! We also told the IQ team to notify them we have it and to call us, but they provided zero help to the situation.

1) Their app sucks. I have had to reset my password many many times because I don’t log in enough. I switch between personal and a small business account. They have one app and if you don’t log in every 2-3 days after looking at the other one they force you out. You can’t log back in without resetting password. Other banks have an app and a business app. Not this bank. It’s beyond irritating at this point.2) Every time I go inside the actual bank there is a large selection of merchandise available for purchase. Only bank I have ever seen that sells stuff.3) I had cards stolen and used. They spent money from two accounts. After I reported the theft and did what I was supposed to do I got back some of the money. They put it in one account and not the rest. After I realized it a couple weeks later I called and asked why and they said they made a mistake and will give the rest back now. I wonder where it was on the inbetween time. They had it but didn’t give it back. ?

Not all of them but the vast majority that I have encountered of staff members employed here have a very strange self entitlement, extreme lack of attention to detail & and an even lower drive to go above and beyond to ensure that we members/paying customers can & do feel a sense of bei

They won’t work with you if you are late on payments. They send you threatening letters to do legal action against you if you are behind and they will keep charging $30 “curtesy” od fees left and right so you can never get caught back up. Terrible. And I’ve been with them for 15 years

Walked in and there was 2 people at the greeting station. Not 1 person said Hello. I get to line, I'm the only one there. I look around, and finally make eye contact with teller. She slaps the counter and smiles. I say "should I go to you?" She smiles. Weird. I then tell her I need a replacement card. She asks for my card and takes a moment with it. She then says "I'm new, I can't make duplicates". Why did you take my card and have me wait a moment? I can only presume she typed in my account and sent it over to the other person, who ended up helping me? After everything is done, the two people at the greeting station look at me but don't say anything. I smiled anyway. This isn't a terrible location, no one was directly rude or "short". It was just weird, I guess.

I came in to use the notary service and asked about opening an account. I was with another CU for 20 years that just isn't as good as it use to be or convenient. I've had an account with IQ for a few weeks, opened a credit card and have used the notary services and I am very impressed. It's a night and day difference from my old CU. Customer service as been excellent at the Van Mall branch. Jake and Amanda have been very helpful and patient. Amanda helped me notarize some documents -- it was a lot of work and messy -- but she was really nice and helpful about it all. I've called customer service a couple of times and the calls were answered quickly. In person deposits have been good too. I've read some of the negative comments but, to me anyway, it sounds like the people writing the reviews are cranky and unreasonable. I don't agree with any of them so far.

IQ Credit Union offers Debit Cards, but not ATM cards.Debit cards provide much less protection than credit cards if they are lost or stolen. With a Debit card, you are on the hook for all your money. Someone who steals your card can drain your account. With a credit card, your risk is limited to $50.At IQ Credit Union, the only way to make deposits and withdrawals at an ATM is with a risky Debit Card. If they offered an ATM card, it would be risk-free and very easy. That's what ATM cards are for.If I need a card for payments, that's what a Credit Card is for. There are plenty of financial institutions around, both credit unions and banks, that offer ATM cards. These institutions don't force you to get a Debit Card just so you can use their ATM system.IQ CU needs to improve its customer service and offer an ATM card, just as their competition does.
