Front desk was unwilling to even look at whether or not they could accommodate us for an extended stay...unlike every other Holiday Inn I've ever spoken with as a travel manager.

Good hotel and fairly easy to get to from the highway. Stayed the weekend for a girls softball tournament. The breakfast was better than what you might otherwise expect but still within the realm of complementary hotel breakfasts. There were a few different items available. Kids loved the pool and the rooms appeared clean. The overall service was ok, but it was very obvious that there weren’t enough people working in the morning.Rooms: We stayed in a double queen room on the second floor. Overall it was good. The beds were nice and had two different firmness of pillows. Everything was clean and functional, except the toilet, which is kind of important. It would flush empty one time and the next time it wouldn’t. No amount of troubleshooting would improve it. Was a good lesson to always walk into a hotel room and try the toilet first ?Nearby activities: Plenty of shopping nearby (5 mins) including winco, Costco and the Vancouver mall.

He's pretty typical but it's on a weird Side Road and it's pretty far from the mall and the highway not like a tremendous amount of time but it's you know about 5 minutes from the highway you know and for a hotel like that you would figure it might be a little closer to what's going on but you literally drive through like a neighborhood and then all of a sudden you're in the middle of nowhere but there's a Holiday Inn Express so I don't know I don't get itRooms: Don't expect a lot there's no chocolates on your pillows and they don't go any extra distance to make this facility stand out from the rest it's pretty much a par scoring HotelNearby activities: Well there's the mall which is about a 5-minute Drive East and there's a strip mall and a lot of shopping right around there but aside from that there's not really much and way of entertainment or anything unless you include the theater at the mall and I'm not absolutely certain about any sporting centers or anything that are nearby but I'm pretty sure that there's notSafety: I would say in today's environment you're never really sure where you're safe anywhere but I would say on a scale of 1 to 10 10 being likely that something bad happens and one being a okay no worrying about your safety I would say this place is probably like a one or two maybe a three but it's not in a place that you should ever really worry about too much DangerWalkability: Yeah you can walk from the parking lot to your room and back the parking lot or down the sidewalk in the neighborhood there's no walking I would say activities nearby but the mall is close enough I guess you could walk there if you're into doing thatFood & drinks: They don't have food and drinks they've got the ghetto continental breakfast and well it's a typical Commercial Hotel post covid

Stayed for one night, it looks like hotel is undergoing renovations. The rooms are OK but a lot of missed details. For example there’s a gap on the front door that’s almost an inch and a half. You can clearly see into the hallway. The heater is so loud and woke me up each time it turned on. It’s not the best IHG that I’ve stayed at by any means.

I've had my Lineman staying in this hotel for a few days because there is a winter storm going on and there are lots of power outages. We have been getting on average of 20 rooms a day, one day at a time (just the way it has to go in this business). I have crews staying in hotels all throughout Southern Washington and Northern Oregon and let me tell you, this has been one of the best hotels to deal with. HANDS DOWN. I have had several of my guys reachout and tell me they really like the hotel, which says a lot because I usually get complaints about places from them, not compliments, haha. As for the logistics side of the house, they have been nothing but accommodating. It can be a bit of a pain to book rooms for us because we use a company card, so I have to fill out credit card auth forms and such, but this hotel has made it SO easy. The staff have been so communicative, patient, and understanding. I'm last minute booking 20 hotel rooms everyday and they never complain or seem frustrated. Our company will for sure be using them again!!

Nothing special going on to give 5 stars. The place is under construction at the moment and while I get that.... Yesterday they were testing fire alarm at 9 am without warning. Yep scared me half to death the first time. However it went off 5 more times that morning so you get used to it. Just wish I had had a heads up. Other than that it's a nice place to stay except it could use some sound proofing inside and out.

The room was fine, breakfast was great and staff were delightful. I was unaware of all the renovations so when I arrived late at night from the airport (and alone) the parking lot and entry felt creepy to me.

The place is a disaster!!! It's currently undergoing a makeover, so it's orchestrated madness. The staff are simply brilliant!! Friendly, kind, and professional. On my stay, there is a guest (used in the LOOSEST form of application) who's charges think running the halls, jumping from the couch to see who lands furthest away, and running from one wall to the next is perfectly acceptable no matter what time of day or night. We'll, if you are reading this: BE A PARENT and explain that there are others who are road weary from travel, get up at 4am to SERVE this Country, and get back in around 7pm and they sure as shootin' don't appreciate being disturbed by another guest who OBVIOUSLY could care less about anyone else! Ah! But then again, it IS a Holiday Inn. Their breakfast is simply scrumptious! Pancakes!! Bacon, sausage, breads, pastries, real butter, and their coffee? Look out, Starbucks! And amid all the construction? Their breakfast area is just as clean and neat as you'd want it. Well done!Rooms: The rooms have paper thin walls. There seems to be NO sound deadening in the walls, halls or floors. I mean, when you can hear your neighbour above you urinating...well, you know? And you can CLEARLY hear every word spoken in the room next to you. Or hear the child screaming across the hall and three doors down...Noteworthy details: When the remodelling is complete, you won't recognise this establishment. And they appear to be working from 6am to near midnight. Are you a "heavy sleeper"? Fear not! Their fire alarm will rouse the dead! They are in a prime location, minutes from the business park, food, freeways...

Same as last time. They haven't finished their remodel. It's been months. Containers took up too much of the parking lot. We had a finished room which was nice. Getting to breakfast area was sectioned off do to main floor is still under construction.

We were unaware of the total renovation taking place and it was difficult to find parking. The updated rooms were clean and fresh. The first floor is a train wreck however. Outside there are dozens of Connex storage containers you have to navigate through to get to the main entrance and find padking.Rooms: Remodeling is in process so beware. Duat everywhere downstairs.

This hotel is very convenient to PDX. Currently in the process of updating. Stayed in an updated room and it was very nice. Comfortable mattress and bedding. Staff was friendly. Only complaint was there was hair all over the bathroom floor. Super gross, but the rest of the room seemed fine.

Had a very poor experience here. Booked a two-queen suite about 3 weeks in advance. At the time of booking the suite upgrade was $25/night over a standard two-queen room. When I arrived I discovered the property was under renovation. The desk agent told me that I would have learned about the renovation if I had clicked on a tiny notice at the bottom of the page. Needless to say I didn't see it and I feel something that major should be a pre-book popup that you have to click to bypass.Anyway, the "suite" was nothing but a loveseat against a bare wall. There was no table, no lamp, no TV. Bare walls. When I asked for a standard room instead, I was offered only $5/night rate adjustment. Wasn't interested in changing rooms for virtually zero dollars back. Then learned that the refrigerator didn't work. The hair dryer was a tiny, low-power travel unit and the "conditioner" in the shower dispenser was filled with body wash. No ice except on the first floor. There was too much wrong with this stay to even name. I paid approximately $180/night for my room (sunday-tuesday) and the only good thing I can say is that the linens and the bathroom were clean.
