Why will they will give a free exam to Humane Society dogs and not Multnomah Animal Shelter dogs? They were on my list, that is sad. Please bring your dog to a vet who will honor examining a lovely shelter dog.

Requested an appointment online for a Friday and then the next day received an email “confirming” an appointment for Saturday. No communication whatsoever to say “Friday is unavailable, is there a different time that works for you?”
…then I had to download and sign up for an app to cancel the Saturday appointment that I never wanted.
I won’t even waste my time trying to schedule an appointment here that actually works for me, will just be going elsewhere.

This Clinic has taken care of all my pets for the last 23 years I've lived it the same address they've always treated me with kindness and dignity when I've had to do anything life-changing and they're reasonably priced and always willing to go the extra mile I would send anyone here for their pets care

Honestly I don't like to leave bad reviews but my most recent interaction needs to be shared. I called the vet because my 18 year old cat who has been here before is quickly declining and I wanted to inquire about humane euthanization options. The person who answered the phone had a really rude tone and wasn't answering my questions. I'm currently grieving a loss of a cat I've known since he was born and have never gone through this process before. After pulling up my info she said "the soonest we can get you in is Wednesday" Which ok cool. I don't know if my cat can wait until Wednesday so I communicated that I needed to talk to my family and see what they wanted to do before I book the appointment. She then told me when I could call back because they are short staffed and no one else but her was there. She also said she herself was sick and not feeling good. I understand the stress of being short staffed and can sympathize with someone not feeling good, at the end of the day we are all humans not cogs in a machine. unfortunately my cat is just a little bit sicker then she is and I'm sorry that was an inconvenience for you
