Signed up for member and not even a month they have take from my account $189 and the worst customer service I’ve ever! Witnessed. Went to the gym in hazel dell and was yelled at by a girl and now I’m fighting for my money and no way to contact a golds gym representative. Now I’ve canceled my card and getting a new one so they can $&@$ offAvoid this place!

Fantastic gym. Equipment is new, staff does thorough/frequent cleanings, and everyone is courteous. Has a nice nightclub feel to it haha (nice change from the Vancouver mall location).

I was told by an employee that there wasn't a cancellation fee. Turns out if you're interested in canceling it will be a $105 fee. That is outrageous, I got my membership trying to find a gym. I was not a fan of the facility and attempted to cancel within the first month. I tried talking to staff and there was not any assistance in the matter. Highly recommend going to a different location

Solid gym,great equipment, plenty of space, it can get busy at times but (excepted for a commercial gym) but not to packed to where you can't work out. People there are also awesome and always welcome for you to work in.

I love the Hazel Dell Gold’s Gym location. It is always clean, the staff is very friendly, and happy to accommodate questions or concerns. They are quick to their feet when there is a problem and the machines are in great shape (and a chunk of them are even brand new). Though the sauna is full most of the time and the towel/spray bottle return is inching closer and closer to the front counter LOL, I have been a member for more than a year now and I recommend it to everyone. Love to see my regulars and the staff’s warm hello/goodbye. Thanks for everything guys!

Just signed up because they have child care. When I was cancelling I specifically asked if you can bring guests. Online if you search says members said they have a relaxed plus one policy, and both planet and 24 allow you to bring a guest anytime as long as they are with a member. Went with my fiancé and let the girl at desk know what I was told, and she basically said there was nothing she can do about it and it’s 20$ to workout one time w your guest. Hard pass. And don’t appreciate being given false information and lied to just to sign up. Almost every other gym allows for a guest, and to lie only to a couple weeks later waste my time trying to come in w my plus one, and the very rude desk girl that did nothing to make it right. Yeah I’ll prob cancel.Update: same front desk girl Morgan that had the disgusting attitude the first time was incredibly rude. Her answer to everything is “I don’t know what to tell you” . Acts like a snotty 17 year old girl. This place is a joke and I want a full refund

I went in at noon today, Saturday, to use the virtual Les Mils program in the GGX room as it's the main reason I joined Golds. One more time the app is down and the staff doesn't know how to fix it/reset the ipad. It should be easy to operate if other members are using it for music.This happens more times than not on the evenings and the weekends that I go in and so disappointing. I pay double the rate at Golds then I do at another gym so I can have access to the LM program. Been following LM for 15 years and love love love the various formats they offer. I've spoken to the manager on 3 previous occasions about this and was assured that the staff would get trained on how to operate the system. At this point I'm considering canceling my membership.

I had been a member for over a year, but decided to freeze my account for a couple months. After they charged me the annual fee, I asked to freeze the account again, which they were fine doing, but neglected to share they would still charge me $15 per month. I decided to cancel in mid-August, but they claim I had already paid for September and last month (October). They make it very easy to sign up, but know they are taking $90+ dollars of mine despite my plan to not use their facilities.

Terrible customer service support! I have specifically asked to sign up for a month to month term agreement just in case if I would want to cancel I wouldn’t have to break any “contracts” and pay a ridiculous fee. I wish I remembered the ladies name who was signing me up but clearly she messed everything up. When I decided to cancel gym membership they told me I had to pay “$125” in order to cancel. Clearly they didn’t put me on a month to month and signed me up for a wrong plan. I am so upset at this and will never be signing up to Golds gym. I would recommend for you to avoid it as well.

Closest thing you'll get to a luxury gym in the area, since there's no Equinox around. Inexpensive membership.. Can get a bit busy during peak hours. Employees are professional/friendly. Bathrooms are always clean, equipment well maintained. Best gym in the area by far.

Clean. Beautiful. Less busy than the other big box option with child care in the area. Speaking of, the kid zone lady is so good with the kids!! I feel indulgent going here.

Really disappointed as of lately that as a parent and current member, I see only one person in the kids area. I was there this morning and I think I counted almost 20 kids, at least 5 of them being babies with not enough hands to care for them. The employee working was so nice and doing the best she could but sad to see that there were other employees not stepping in to help her in there.Please do better and staff accordingly. Myself and other parents are growing concerned and considering not having our children come in until there is appropriate staffing for the entire time our kids are in there.
