This company has caused me terrible stress for 2 days not and really upset the holiday for me. I ordered two gift baskets in October for 12/22 delivery, which was an offered date. One with fruit was delivered 12/20 and will not even be opened until the 24th, so much for the beautiful fruit. The other was not delivered at all. Today after speaking to 3 different customer service agents, I was given a new excuse. why it will not be there until after Christmas. Today I was told due to severe weather they lost power in the warehouse, which is in North Carolina. No snow storm there, yesterday excuse, we just dropped the ball. We don't know what happened. I have been in high profile customer service for 47 years, so that about sums up how old I am and this is totally unacceptable. I spent 6 1/2 hrs of my day on the computer, finding a grocery store, order the meats, cheeses and crackers for my gift. I paid over $200 to have beautiful grocery bags delivered to my brother's home. NOT THE BEAUTIFUL $130 gift basket I ordered. NOTHING BUT TOTAL STRESS FOR ME.Please do yourself a favor, don't trust this company. They get your money and I guess don't really care about customers service.

We bought a couple gift baskets to the tune of $140. We picked up instead of having them delivered. They are a rip off! Because of weather we kept one of the baskets.When we opened it there were a few chocolates, nuts and popcorn. Not even close to what it's worth. Will never buy from them again.

Very disappointed and displeased! I ordered a gift basket for a family friend that is so important to us, the occasion was Thanksgiving… It should be deliver the day before (November 24th, 2021) to a business address…Well, today is November 30th and he hasn’t received it yet… if I don’t call them to know what is going on, the gift will still be sitting on the FedEx facility… To make things worse, their agent tells me that they did three attempts to deliver and nobody was there to sign for it (Improbable because it is a business address, there is always adults around); They continue saying they can’t do more deliveries and that the recipient has to go and pick the gift up or I have to pick it up myself (I live 117 miles away)… They never contacted me about the failing delivery attempts, even though they have my email address, never tried to contact me about the situation… if I don’t call them I wouldn’t know anything… They say they can’t return my money back to my debit card… I paid for the gift basket, the delivery and taxes… So basically, I gave them money for free… I DO NOT recommend this website, stay away from it… What a horrible customer service!!!

This was the first time ordering from Gift Tree and it was a very positive experience. It was sent out as requested and arrived on time. It was an anniversary gift and the recipients were very happy with it. They sent me a picture of their gift and it looked even nicer than I expected.

Gifttree "recommend selecting an early shipping date to account for potential delays". I chose Dec 1 to give them a 3-week cushion. The basket with perishable food was delivered Nov 24, during a week that people are gone for Thanksgiving. Regardless of the perished food, the basket looked cheap and tacky, especially for $200. I've bought several good baskets in the past as corporate gifts, but this one was a terrible mistake with horrible delivery.

Gift was supposed to be delivered on 29th. I chose this over other sites based on the estimated delivery time provided on the site. Extremely disappointed with delayed delivery. If you do have logistics issues, it is better to indicate a longer time for delivery than misleading with a shorter time.

The recipient was not just family, but we are fellow veterans as well. Although the gift was not scheduled to arrive until November 16 (his birthday), it arrived on Veterans Day, which made the occasion all the more special for him. The Five Star Premium Grade Fruit Basket probably went very well with his lunch from home. My choice of gift tree product had me looking like a saint.

I placed an order for a mother's day gift basket for both my girls, one in Dallas and one in Cincinnati and they were delivered as promised on time! Been using GiftTree service for many many years!! Thank you! Great service as always!!

Quality was good and it was wrapped beautifully. It did arrive on the date scheduled but wish that there were more economical options to get it there sooner. A week is a long time to wait for a condolences gift and the rush shipping was extremely expensive

The plant selected and pictured on the website was not the one delivered. The picture illustrated with a nice ceramic container. The plant delivered was in a terra cotta container with no ribbon or decoration appropriate for sympathy. Apparently the florist is permitted to substitute if they don’t have the correct container in stock. The florist should have selected another porcelain or similar quality container. Or contacted the buyer with the issue before delivery. Giftree provided a 10% refund. The whole experience was disappointing and very unsatisfactory.

I purchased a gift basket for Friday delivery before Easter. The basket was not delivered until Monday. I paid a higher rate of shipping for Friday delivery. My complaint was met that at least my order was delivered and on the website was a disclaimer of possibility of delay on shipping. I should be refunded the extra shipping charge due to the lateness. You shouldn't advertise for before Easter delivery.

The gift itself was very aesthetically pleasing, but part of the presentation is the delivery! The gift was received, but the card/message that was delivered with it was from most likely another customer order and not the one that I created. In turn, the family the gift was for waited for someone to return to pick up the gift not knowing it was for them until I asked if the gift had been received. Basically ruining the surprise effect. When I contacted Giftree concerning the issue, I was simply told it will be annotated to your account and we'll keep a look out for the other customer and if they have an issue. Thanks Gifttree!!!

If I could rate this company less than one star, that’s exactly what my rating would be for my experience. The service, presentation and delivery time ZERO stars!! Do not order based on presentation shown on their website. All the items in the basket except for the wine bottles is SAMPLE size not what’s shown on their order page. Save yourself the most embarrassing moment of you life if you are sending a gift for a special occasion. To never again!!

Overall the recipient was happy with the gift but, it arrived 2 days early, which might be a good thing for some people but, if I knew it would have arrived 2 days early I would have sent wine since I knew someone was home and they could have signed for it. Things should arrive when they're supposed to, not earlier or later.
