Just picked up my vehicle there today after, through no fault of my own, sliding into a curb and causing some fairly major front end damage. The car had to be towed and I live in a different state, so I just had the tow company take it to a repair shop they recommended.
So I was hoping that I got lucky and that the shop would prove to be a good one.
Well, what a pleasure it was to get my car back in great condition. You wouldn't know that anything had happened to it. To top it off, about 6 mos ago I had scraped a post, leaving a badly scuffed rear fender. I did a ok job of sanding, cleaning, priming, painting, and clear coating, but it wasn't a great job. Well they must have noticed because the spot was fixed.
This is the type of service we kind of expect but are rarely given. So thank you to the people at 5 Star Auto for causing this pessimist to be pleasantly surprised. I recommend them.

I have worked with Five Star Auto Body on a number of occasion's and have had a fantastic experience from start to finish each time. Their customer service is fantastic, they have reasonable prices and they do great body work to boot! They have a group of free loaner cars for folks to use when/if their insurance rental runs out. They're just the best. Special thanks to the guys at the front desk that look like brothers (Brandon & Nathan?)! They run a tight ship and are super friendly! :-)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. My car was fixed in a reasonable time as well. I was very impressed with their customer service, and my car was returned to me SPOTLESS outside and inside. They live up to their name. I highly recommend Five Star Auto Body.

Brandon and Sean at Five Star Auto Body are amazing! This is the best shop in the Portland/Vancouver area and I highly recommend them for all of your auto body repair needs. They have fixed both my Camaro SS and my son's BMW (twice), and they make your car look like new. They communicated with me throughout the entire repair process, dealt with my insurance company, and handled any issues that arose. Hands down the best experience I have had repairing our cars. Thank you Five Star Auto Body!

Had my Land Rover taken care of through insurance and Shawn and his team did a great job of having the repair done. They were professional all the way and as an added bonus they did some cleaning on the interior which I didn't expect. If you have a Land Rover I learned it can be very challenging to find some one to do your repairs for a myriad of reasons. Everyone I called had great ratings but communicated "they didn't want to touch my Land Rover." When I called Five Star Auto they said they "weren't afraid to take the job," plus they noted their experience with them as well. Highly recommend them.

I brought my car in to get an estimate for a bumper repair. They were quick and professional in their assessment. They also offered an alternate solution to a full replacement. After a day to decide which way to go, I brought the car back for the alternate solution. It wasn’t going to work but they offered another option and completed the task quickly. I appreciated the options given. It was great customer service and I highly recommend them.

I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and I had a small piece
of chrome on my front bumper that came undone.I called in the morning and they said to bring it by and I did that afternoon.
I spoke to a man by the name of Brandon and he said let my tech
take a look at it and ten minutes later the problem was solved.
When I asked him how much do I owe he said nothing.
It is very nice to see great customer service and yes when I
need a auto body shop repair I will definitely come back to
Five Star Auto Body.

Wow, what a waste of time!
I called early in the morning to see whether I'd need an appointment to get an estimate and was told that "there are lots of guys available, no need to make an appointment."
What's the first question I am asked when I show up and say I'm there to get an estimate on a repair? "Do you have an appointment?"
I calmly mention that when I called earlier I was explicitly told that no appointment was needed. Then he asks, "are you going through an insurance?"
I say yes, and after detailing which and giving him a claim number, the guy says, "oh, we only have one person who can do those; I'll have to go check if he's available or if you have to return on a different day." um...Okay...
But listen, I don't have the time or energy to be taking time off from work, or coordinating which car I or my family is driving, so no, I can't do that. So I say, "if I can't get an estimate this morning, I won't be able to come back."
So then the insurance dude comes over and says, "your insurance hasn't sent us the claim information."
"I know," I say, "I'm here to get my own estimate."
Then he says, "well, we need to have [whatever] information from the insurance company - you'll have to return later."
Um, no; I will not come back. You had an opportunity to provide a service to a customer within your doors and you didn't. And so now, I will look for another shop to get my future business.
I'd suggest the business implements training for whoever answers the phones, and instead of being dismissive and say, "on you don't need an appointment," and to avoid someone showing up expecting a service, you also instruct your staff who answer the phones, to ALSO ask, if a customer plans to go through insurance, and then go through the process of asking whether I have an active claim and such. That would have saved me the time and gas to drive here in the first place.
At any point, I will add, the staff could have said, "well, we can give you an estimate assuming you'll pay out of pocket," and still provide a service, but none of the staff seemingly cared about getting business or portraying professionalism, and instead, they let me walk out the door with the sour taste of a poor customer experience.
Maybe you should rename the place, "not quite five star auto body"

My truck looks like it came off the showroom floor. Repair was fast and not too expensive. The staff were friendly and professional. Hopefully I will never have to come back. No accidents please!

Went in for check engine and check gas cap light. Within a few hours Brandon said it cleared itself, all codes are gone and system is operating normal. Went to pick it up he says the same thing. But before he hands my keys, he states that they just disconnected the battery. Well duh that’s gonna remove the codes. And wouldn’t you know 3/4 days later the same lights come back on. Nothing like them lying straight to your face and not even fixing or wanting to fix the issue. Complete disappointment for this business.
