**UPDATE** Yesterday I thought the hotel management had started the refund as I saw a pending refund on my transactions. But this morning that transaction had been canceled. As such I have filed a dispute against the hotel. Next stop is the BBB and Hiltons Corporate office. I am disgusted with this particular Hilton and their lack of management.I highly recommend never staying here unless you like to be ripped off and enjoy beat up, run down hotels. I've stayed at better quality BW **At this time I don't have really anything postive to say about this hotel. I had a reservation for Sunday night with a confirmation email confirming this. On Thursday the hotel had already charged my card and the transaction is pending. I thought this was odd but glad I didn't have to worry about paying when we got there. Fast forward to check in on Sunday and the man at the front desk tells me I was schedule to arrive Friday and I was marked as a no show and charged as such and he wouldn't be able to refund me and there were no managers to speak too. Even though I had a confirmation email showing my scheduled check in date they continued to refuse to provide a refund. They then made me pay for Sunday night and created a new reservation for me. So I've paid twice for THEIR MISTAKE. I've already checked out and they said someone will be available to speak to on Tuesday about their error. This is NOT acceptable. On top of the reservation being incorrect, my room was pretty beat up just like shown in the reviews. The sofa and ottoman are falling apart. The breakfast was a joke. No bowls out for oatmeal. No waffle mix. Eggs were already gone and they said they'd bring out potatos but at that point I was over it. They said they ran out as it was a busy morning... yet they charge you for breakfast. We won't be staying there ever again. And I plan disputing my charge if it's not corrected by tomorrow. My advise is steer clear. Oh, the bartender doesn't know what he's doing either and had to google how to make my drink... a lemon drop. He said he just started and was getting on the job training.

Our furniture… pictured!Paid over $170 for a room that had this furniture in it… we had brought games to play as I was there with my grandchildren, they never restocked their hot chocolate, they don’t provide breakfast, you have to pay an extra $14 for adults and $7 for children, we had brought board games to play, as I was there with my grandchildren, but no one wanted to sit on this disgusting furniture,… they didn’t restock pool towels…When I asked for a little discount I was told no. They also told me they could’ve brought us a sheet to put over the couch. Why don’t they have one over it in the first place?

I see I was not the only one with a Motel 6 reject sofa.I have had fully satisfactory stays here many times over the years. The rest of this stay was fully satisfactory, and I will absolutely stay here again. Hopefully they are about to replace all the sofas and ottomans.Food & drinks: Surprisingly extensive dinner menu. Good quality, value, and service.

I should check other customers’ reviews first, like not yet up to Hilton standards, disgusting conditions of the room, staff didn't worry about issues when reported and so on. Please see the picture in our room. The staff told us that the sofa was rough. It had been no use for a long time because of Covid-19. Ridiculous! Does Doubletree have the budget to buy new furniture in place of damaged? Also, the toilet was clogged! The room was totally not ready for the customer! Worse than that, the day’s manager refused to refund us, always saying per their policy, and could not switch room due to sold out. This kind of room conditions should not be sold!

Holy dumpster fire Batman… but seriously who at Hilton corporate is letting this place fly their flag? I didn’t look at reviews before booking as I expected a standard Doubletree by Hilton. Nothing special just clean and functional. Then walked into a room decorated with furniture they picked up at the dump! There were sticky spots all over the floor. When I asked to be moved to a better room I was told ALL the furniture is like that because of, get this, COVID. They know COVID was more than two years ago now right? They could drive across the river to IKEA and get replacement furniture for each room for 300$. Barely more than the cost of one night in this dump. Who’s running this place? No excuse. You do NOT SELL rooms like this. Period. We’re writing to corporate and following up.UPDATE: I’m updating based on the owner response. To say.. this is NOT a renovation. I don’t know what it is but don’t buy that renovation line. I’ve stayed in hotels doing renovations and they don’t sell rooms like this. The rooms being worked on are closed.

This dump is worse than a motel 6!! The front desk didn’t say ANYTHING about the disgusting conditions of the room, lack of tvs, missing a chair and so forth. Definitely a bait and switch compared to the pictures online. Since we were already checked in when we walked into this trash pile, they charged us for our stay! We promptly called Hilton corporate. They told us they would get back to us in 4-5 business days. But if they called the hotel- we could cancel without a cost today. Another lie. The front desk refused to reverse the charge when Hilton called them. SOOO now I am our hundreds for this dump hole and a new hotel.

They charge it like a Hilton hotel, but that's how ugly the sofa was.

Hotel had torn couches etc. didn’t go near them. Restroom had water damage stains on the ceilings. There was a foul smell that possibly was mold. This was one of the worst hotels we have spent the night in during traveling.

It’s okay. Not a typical Doubletree but did its job. Room was just okay. But what was odd is that both nights I stayed there someone was vacuuming the hallway outside my door both nights around 9pm. Don’t know why they didn’t do that earlier in the day. And when outside my door the person hit my door with the vacuum too. Lasted about 15 minutes outside door both nights.Other than that. It’s okay

Renovation is no excuse for shabby, ripped up furniture! This furniture is in such poor condition, it could not be given away. How can Hilton or Doubletree put their name on such poor quality. I would never stay here again. Looking at other reviews and pictures from a month ago, I'm thinking the hotel would have taken care of this problem by now! If that weren't possible, the hotel should close and slowly rent out rooms as they are refurbished. This is horrible and the public should be made aware!Rooms: Our room is disgusting. Furniture is actually ripped up and torn.

I recommend avoiding this location. We booked here without reading the reviews, and were pretty disappointed when we got there and learned about the state of the rooms. Front desk wasn’t able to provide a renovated room and suggested we call back the following week for a refund. When I called back for a refund the denied saying that I could get one that way. I can deal with inconveniences or circumstances but not dishonesty.

Not a lot of amenities, odd oder to the linens (almost unclean/unwashed), room's water is very low pressure, and couch was peeling and flaking everywhere.
