Cutting Edge Contracting recently replaced our deck and we would highly recommend them. We were impressed during the estimate process with Brandon’s attention to every little detail. Our deck was an upper deck so we offered the option of going through the house rather than laddering up. They were very conscientious about taking care and cleaning up. Everyone we encountered was a pleasure to work with. They provided excellent communication every step of the way. The job was completed as quoted with outstanding workmanship.

I was on I205 south in the Happy Valley area yesterday. One of their vans was driving so close behind me in the center lane that I couldn’t even see their bumper. When I went to switch lanes they almost side swiped me. It was very dangerous and scary for my kids. This went on for between 5-10 minutes. I was going 5 over the speed limit, there was no reason to do this and could have very easily caused an accident if I had needed to break.
Please speak with your drivers about their driving. I see I’m not the only person who has had issues like this.

Driving through Tacoma on the 5 South three guys in the front seat of a contractor truck driver deep into his phone not paying attention going slower than anybody causing traffic get off your phone and drive. the logo on the truck was the exact same logo as your logo is.

Joe was a consummate professional throughout the whole process. If there ever was a question, he responded almost immediately and was happy to help answer any question I had. Their follow up was awesome, quality: amazing, speed: incredible, and pricing: reasonable. I would absolutely use CEC again and have Joe's info saved in my phone for future use.

Cutting Edge Contracting is AWESOME! We have a great big shop building 55x90 that was damaged by wind. Sean at Cutting Edge Contracting worked with me and my insurance to make sure all the work was covered. The work crew came out and was highly organized, productive and safe on the job (2 story building). They cleaned up well and there were regular project check ins. I had no issues and it was a job well done. Fast professional and top notch construction services. Thanks Cutting Edge Contracting! I'll be using your services again in the future for my upcoming projects, and definitely recommend others to use your services.

Cutting edge was so easy to work with, they have great communication, and are very professional. they recently did our roof and the guys they sent out worked efficiently, they were friendly and their attention to detail was very impressive.
They let us know every step of the way what was happening, and when to expect what. We’re so happy with our finished product and will be referring them to everyone we know who needs work done on their homes!

We started with getting two sides of our house looked over and getting the dry rot taken care of with a fresh paint job.
This led to a couple of other big issues we had and didn’t even know. We had some windows installed in 2016 that were not done properly and a roof that also had some issues. They fixed both and the results are fantastic. We both feel that our house is more solid and reliable for our future.
The transformation is beautiful.
The whole team worked very professionally with detail.

I called Chad to get a quote for updating my siding. From the first call I felt like a valued customer. The quoting process was fair and communication at the initial phase was excellent. Chad and Brandon kept in contact and were flexible when I added on to the project. They guided me through updates that were functional as well as correcting mistakes from a previous contractor. During the entire project we had daily check ins and walk around to check on the progress. Any issues that came up were addressed quickly. We are pleased with the work they completed and now have functional doors, new siding and paint, and a deck that is sturdy and well designed. After the job, a roof vent sheared off in a windstorm and they replaced it same day.

I enthusiastically recommend Cutting Edge. The quality of craftsmanship is unparalleled, and the project management and communication throughout the entire endeavor were outstanding. The team proved to be truly fantastic. Originally, our plan was to replace the deteriorated siding in our backyard and on our deck. However, upon discovering additional decay, we expanded the project to include redoing the front siding and constructing a new retaining wall. The result is nothing short of remarkable – a complete transformation of our house.

I know nothing about this company other than one of their lovely employees felt the need to drive their loaded work truck 25 mph over the limit in a 40 mph zone in North Portland today. I guess I wasn’t going fast enough for him because there was a car in front of me, so he had to tailgate me and drive like a moron. I’m sure they do fine work.

These guys did such an amazing job. They communicated well, they beat the bids on three other companies. The professionalism and communication again was outstanding in the job they did was on time and to perfection. Our Cutting Edge contractor, Brandon, was very knowledgeable. He expected perfection, & used a skilled carpenter and painters on our job. Response time and communication was excellent. Every part of the contract was done well, including a very protective exterior paint job, with three coats of paint on the side showing damage by sun exposure.

I cannot tell you about their workmanship as we did not get that far. We had them out to do a bid of residing our house. Showed them what we wanted to have done. Part of the work included siding an ADU that would be built alongside the house. Was told they would measure the house and asked if they could get the dimensions of the ADU. I went inside to print that information and as I was doing so they got back into their truck and drove away without a word. Seriously?!? Today one of the guys called to say they decided not to bid. Yeah, we sort of figured that out when they drove off. They said it was because it would be too far out (time wise) since we were just starting the permitting process for the ADU. They couldn't be bothered to knock on the door and tell us that, or wait until I came back out with the information they asked me for? How completely rude and unprofessional!
