The security people at the door, Chris and some other guy, are creeps.

This place is pretty damn awful. I ran in tonight to grab something and there is security at the main entrance with everything roped off. He was super aggressive and I’m pretty sure he was high on drugs. They make you stare up at the camera before letting you in, which is kind of crazy. Maybe I wouldn’t have found it so odd if the crackhead security officer wasn’t yelling at me to do it if you can’t find a better way to keep sleeves from stealing from your store, maybe it’s time to close up.

Great deals. But the line to get to the cashier is long and slow moving. They need more cashiers. There's maybe 20 people in line in front of me. And 3, very slow moving cashiers. In spite of finding exactly what I came here for I don't think I'll be coming back. My legs hurt from standing in line so long

Staff is either brain dead or on drugs. Went in for a return, had them look at a reciept missing 1 digit for 20 minutes before telling me I could only get store credit. Said forget it. Toted my 2 year old back to the car. Manager chased me outside to tell me to come back for cash. Waste of time. A whole ordeal over nothing. Had to literally tell her to move so I could leave the parking lot.

Burlington is one of my top 5 stores to go to. They always have something new and exciting. We always find a good bargain. The place is pretty organized when it's not overflowing with merchandise. The only thing is that the mens shirts are super boring, and i can't find to many pieces im interested in. Other then that the little nick nacks are always fun to look at and they have a good selection of perfumes/ cologne.

If I was able to submit negative stars I would.
My experience last night was absolutely horrific to say the least. I have never felt more insulted and humiliated in my entire life.
I took my mom and my son who is 3, to shop at Burlington as we often do. While I was shopping, the security guard on duty approached me and told me I needed to leave the property. I was confused by this but assumed he was joking around. He then went on to say that one of the cashiers said she had seen me shoplift from the store before. I asked him if he was serious, because not even 2 weeks prior I had been talking with the security guard about how I also do security so I thought he was just being funny. He proceeded to say that he was not kidding, and that I needed to leave the store. I at this point was completely insulted and humiliated by this accusation, mostly because I have never stolen in my life, and to be told to leave based on heresy and nothing to actually go off, no video footage, no indication that I was currently stealing or had ever stolen, nothing. At this point I was in tears, not understanding how a company would allow this to happen to their customers with no evidence whatsoever. I asked the security guard if I could go give my mom my basket to have her purchase some things i was getting for my son, who was more than confused as to why his mother was crying and being made to leave. The security guard at this point had recalled our previous encounter from prior weeks, I could tell he realized that the cashier had been mistaken and started to say I didn't have to leave, but I was so humiliated that I wanted to just go home. My mother purchased the items as i waited outside with my son, attempting to explain what was wrong. The cashier who made the accusation, Riley, asked if she could come outside and apologized to me for her mistake. So I went back to the front of the store where she was suppose to be waiting but apparently she went back inside and continued to ring up customers, so I stood outside and had to then wait almost 5min for her to come back out. I explained that I have never been so mortified and offended in my life. She said she was sorry, but there is no way I could accept it, because that is not something that should ever happen to someone based off no actual evidence. I shop there frequently, and even am a member in the loyalty program. I showed her my security certification card and let her know that what she had done, and how they went about the situation was wrong, and that no one should ever have to go through something like that. Especially with my child with me. To be profiled and have my character publicly slandered was beyond upsetting. I am a good person, a good mother, to made out to be something I'm not, especially something regarding what I feel is so morally wrong, is something I'll never forget. I don't think I would be able to shop there again.

This is my first stop if I need something for the kitchen or bathroom. Clothing selection is spotty if you're larger than a ladies' Medium or a men's Large. The aisles aren't very well organized, but everything is clean. The staff is hands off, but I prefer it that way. Some things aren't labeled with prices, but the cashiers are quick to look things up if you ask. If you're in a hurry or you need something specific, look elsewhere, but this is a great place to poke around looking for a steep discount.

I’m so tired of this place. Got a credit card there about 2 years ago, it was better then. You walk in and get immediately mean mugged by “security”, most of them not even greeting you. Nowadays they’re so focused on preventing theft that they follow EVERYONE around. Barely any cashiers ever. Tonight was the last straw for me.. tried to split up a purchase (some on credit card, some on debit) and received a huge amount of attitude from the cashier... like it was confusing or too hard. Asked her to just do separate transactions and she said angrily, “so what do you want me to do?” like I want to purchase these things damn?
You guys just lost a sale because of her. Hire less young girls that obviously don’t want to be there or atleast ones that know what they’re doing. She should be fired.

Disappointed with the 'downsized' model. There used to be so much more to pick from.

What a waste of time if you’re here for coats!!! This is place is more like a run down Ross. Half the store is closed off to the public and security has to escort to the. Ack offices to use the restroom.
