My auto & home insurance have been increasing every 6 months for the last few years. I have an excellent driving record & no claims. Finally I decided to leave Progressive and shop around. This is the Best decision I have made!I called Ami Bennett’s team at All State and Whitney Rhodes was so incredibly helpful. She knew exactly what I needed and made it so easy. The auto policy was $70 less a month then my current insurance and by bundling my home I saved another $300 or more on my home policy. They took care of everything including canceling my insurance with my previous company and the office manager even called to thank me for my business. I’m so happy with Whitney’s assistance, she made it a fun conversation shopping rates & discounts and now I feel like I have a friend to call with any questions about my insurance anytime.Thank you Ami & team :) It feels like I gained a new group of friends!

Before I finished the claims process for damages they simply cancelled my policy and refunded the money. I hope they will also refund all of those months of auto insurance I’ve been paying :(. I certainly feel less safe after working with allstate

To follow-up on my earlier review and Ami's "catty" comments trying to cover up her "blunders" and accusing anyone who leaves a negative comment that it is the customers fault, please proceed with caution. I was told, and she has clearly stated in other reviews that she only "sells" insurance. She does not "maintain" the relationship once she has profited from the "sale". In responses to negative feedback on her reviews, she never takes responsibility, NEVER apologizes or finds even a morsel of compassion, nor does she try to resolve the misunderstanding. Instead, she belittles the customer with snappy comments and manipulators the storyline to portray herself in a positive light. And as a final note, from reading the LONG list of negative reviews, her responses VIOLATE her clients confidentiality (as stated by the Washington State Office of Insurance Commissioner) by commenting on customers "not paying their bills", "emailing about collection balances" and other violations to the Code of Ethics.

Ami’s communication severely lacked. There was so much unnecessary confusion surrounding a bill because of this lack of communication. She had told me over the phone that I didn’t owe anything when I asked her about it. I told her I wanted to just clear up all the confusion before I cancelled my policy, which she understood and told me I would hear from billing if I did owe anything. I explained my hesitation with that method because I didn’t want the possible bill to be sent to collections. She gave me a billing number that sent me for a loop about six times. I attempted to email her multiple times, trying to arrange a phone call because she wasn’t responding to my emails or answering my calls and never heard back from her. A week after I called her about the bill that she said was nonexistent, I was told it was sent to collections. I emailed her again about it and still never received a response. After an hour of making calls, I reached a representative who was totally helpful and said that communications around the bill were definitely sent out late and that because of this lack of communication on her end, there’s no way I would have been able to prevent it from going to collections. This negligence was persistent over the last two years with her. I will say, I LOVED Allstate! I actually think they’re a great company, I just will never recommend Ami to anyone looking into Allstate.

They raised my auto rates by an insane amount one renewal period without any new claims or any good reason. I cancelled and went elsewhere and saved lots of money but the worst part of my experience was that they did not cancel my policy when I asked them to, on the date they said they would, so I didn’t get the refund I should have received. They also didn’t answer any phone calls or respond to emails when I brought this to their attention. So they lied about the effective date of my cancellation to avoid issuing a refund and ghosted me. Horrible business practices by Ami and her team.

Shayla is awesome, she helped my daughter build an insurance policy that she could afford. it’s expensive for insurance right now and Shayla went over the different options to keep it affordable. Shayla is easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Shayla’s just got those good vibes that you need, when you’re stressed out looking for affordable insurance coverage. Go to Shayla, she’s great.

I had suspended my coverage on my vehicle for a few months. I called to have it activated again and was told I’m good to go. I received a phone call about my auto pay and when I looked into it I noticed my coverage was still suspended. I have been driving around for8 months without insurance! Staff was beyond rude.

If you need Allstate insurance in the Vancouver Washington area this is who you should go see. I have insured my motorcycle through Ami and I pay an extremely low yearly rate for full coverage

I tried to cancel my policies through Ami by emailing her. She directed me to call the AllState 1-800# which promptly transferred me to her office. When I told the receptionist that I wanted to terminate my policies, I was told to email Ami. Having already done so, and having been directed to call, I asked to be transferred to her or another agent. I was informed that the person answering calls was working remotely and that this was not possible. After emailing Ami AGAIN she replied that she would process the cancellation after her meeting. I didn’t hear back from her so I emailed asking if it had been done, she replied that yes both policies had been cancelled. To my surprise, I awoke this morning to a bill from Allstate saying my policy was increasing due to ending auto pay? After calling Allstate I found out that she had taken auto pay off of my auto policy and had not terminated either my home or auto policies as stated. I was finally able to cancel through All State directly, but it has taken me 2 days to do something as simple as terminate my policy. This is shady business practice and I highly recommend you find someone else to fill your insurance needs.

Please refer to her email (attached photo) stating that my policies would be terminated on 1/1/23. What a way to do business! She is a scam artist!

Sometimes you never know how bad customer service is until you need it. If you’re considering Ami Bennett’s office I highly recommend you read the below. Dealing w/ Ami Bennett Allstate’s team over the last 5 years has been the 2nd worst customer experience I’ve ever had , Second only to Comcast. I’ve unfortunately had 3 claims in the last 2 years , and the navigating of those claims were very difficult as i had not been through anything like those prior ( PIP coverage was utilized, i was hit by a drunk driver w/ many confusing nuances to the claim, hit by another Allstate customer which convolutes things ,the list goes on) They were very difficult claims with a lot of questions and advice I needed from Ami. I was needing some expert opinion from my agent and MULTIPLE times I called her office asking to talk with her. EVERY time i called asking to talk or schedule and appointment w/Ami , the secretary or assistant answering the phone would give the same answer “Ami is busy ,how can I help you “. Every time!!! At one point , I literally begged to make an appointment with her and was given the response “ she does not have any appointments this week” I said what about next week? The secretary responded saying “I’m sorry sir is there something I can do to help you” The last conversation we had before i left her agency , I got very upset and this time I literally demanded an appointment with Ami. The secretary rudely put me on hold and after 10 minutes of holding was transferred to the main Allstate customer service number. I then called back Ami’s local number and was sent directly to voicemail (hmm caller I.D.? ) That was when I gave up and said never again! At 52 years old I’ve had many different insurance agents over the years , some who are definitely more hands off then others , but I have never experienced what I experienced dealing with this agency over those years. I highly recommend a different Allstate agent . I went with Allstate Agent Jim DeBruler in Vancouver, and what a difference! Back to old school relationships!

MARTA has been AMAZING. I asked for a car insurance quote and left with car and renters for a sweeter deal than I was getting at progressive for just auto! She worked her magic getting me a great quote and even a refund from progressive. Her service was excellent, she was knowledge, and very professional and friendly! 10/10 would recommend to get a quote from Marta. I will definitely be coming back for anything else I’ll need insurance on in the future. Thank you so much!

We thought everything was fine after 26 years and over $6000 per year. Then we had a claim. Instead of standing up for us, Ami Boal-Bennett was more interested in us finding another insurance company. Even though Allstate would be reimbursed, they refused to repair our car and totaled it. And we have yet to receive the check. All of this done with agents who hang up on us, and treat like we are responsible for being rear-ended. Talking to another agent for Allstate in the area, and they receive 4 or more complaints a week about Ami Boal-Bennett. Stay away from Allstate and Ami.
