Long story, short: unprofessional on move out and move in. Items not returned, items returned damaged and no apology for any of the inconvenience. Very disappointed in the service provided by Action Contents who were brought in to move my contents after a flood. During the initial move out the staff were quite unprofessional leaving keys to both the building and my condo in the doors themselves...unattended. At some point during the move they took a break and left my sliding door wide open and my unit unlocked. When the job was done not only had they left items of mine behind but also some of their own - empty water bottles and snack wrappers on my kitchen counter. When the restoration work was complete and my contents were moved back in not only were some of my items damaged, many were not returned at all. At no point were the damaged items mentioned (and there was significant damage) by the staff and on the numerous occasions I noticed items were missing, it took staff multiple days to locate the items (and I had to follow-up consistently). Action Contents did locate most of the items that were missing, they denied the damage caused on other items leaving me responsible for replacing them myself. At no point was an apology offered for this poor service and inconvenience - this was probably the most frustrating part of the entire experience. I ALWAYS recommend that people hire movers but in this case, I would have rather muscled through it myself. Awful.
