“Friendly atmosphere, good customer service, has a huge selection from groceries to hard ware to fishing and hunting, a one stop shop for sure with a mom and pop feel!”
“Stopped because a tire was wobbly. The mechanic shop was closed and I didn't have a lug wrench. So I walked in the store. The guy behind the counter was extremely nice. Took me out opened the shop. Loaned me a wrench to do the job. As it turns out there were lose lugs on three of the tires. In this day of suspicion and rudness it was very nice to be treated with courtesy and respect. Thanks again Blue Creek Mercintile. Probably saved a life tonight.”

403 S Park St, Chewelah“Needed to pick up a few items at Walmart after visiting the gas station. But found out that everything I needed at Walmart was there and the price is weren't that bad either. Saved me a lot of time. The gas prices are all the same in Colville maybe one or two cents different.”
“Visited three times over the weekend, very convenient and had all the groceries we needed. The brand of tonic did not taste good, there was no firewood, and the Captain Morgan was $52.00 for a half gallon (a bit much).”
“Employees try to be as helpful as possible. Which I can only imagine how hard that must be when they are doing 2 to 5 tasks in one. The store is very spacey with more then enough room to move around within the store unlike safeway. Enough room at least to where i don't have to interact with someone or try to maneuver around them. which is so nice In a small town like chewelah where it's impossible to go anywhere without someone being rude or trying to have a conversation.”
“100+ degrees and Michael brings my groceries out for pickup with a cheerful attitude and a complimentary bottle of water.
That’s the kind of service I aim to provide in my business and I’m very appreciative when I find it elsewhere.
BONUS: He knew right where the Reese’s was that my wife had gotten me as a treat after a long day of work so he handed that to me then efficiently got everything else in the trunk.”
“Rarely do I give 5 stars in a review. There is always something a business needs to or can do to improve. At Dollar General in Loon Lake I was hard pressed to find anything that needed improvement. If I had any complaint at all it is that they are taking a long time getting the shelves stocked and they do not (yet) have Bagged Ice; although, they are newly opened and I can understand startup delays. The store has been clean and neat inside and out.I have shopped there about 10x now and I have not met a single employee that was not courteous, helpful, and friendly. I would give special notice to Henry who is the 'Most helpful and patient employee' I have seen.He was knowledgeable for the most part, when I had a issue he could not fix he handled my immediate problem to my benefit so I could go on with my day, then found out how to fix that particular issue should it happen again.Just one more thing; they have hired local people to work in the store. Providing OJT for those who need it.Jobs are in short supply since the event of Covid, even more so in the out-lying areas of Spokane like Loon lake. They could have brought in a team of employees already trained to open the new store. They didn't. Dollar General is a welcome and much needed addition to this small burg.”
“This is the place i come to for a nice sandwich. Not a sub. Freshly made to order. They do take and bake pizzas as well. Last I knew it costs a buck or two extra for them to bake it. Prices are still great. Cashiers have always been nice. There's a park across the street to eat your goodies.”
