I went in there a couple months ago, I had passed by and found it very inviting prior. I browsed around and the sales associates replied curtly when I smiled and said hello. I found a very small fern plant perfect for my needs, and proceeded to the sales counter.
The young women could not have been more cold or distant. I thank her for her assistance, but really…was there? I feel no desire to return.

We have been local for about two years and I’ve always wanted to stop in and explore. My six year old had a school project to learn about plants, so we decided to make a trip the nursery. It looked to be a slow Sunday. We walked around for a bit and then made our way back to ask if we could briefly interview a worker for the assignment. To my surprise, the individual we encountered was not helpful. I explained our interests and asked if she could help and she declined, stating she was not a garden expert and asked if it had to be today. She seemed a bit annoyed that we even asked, which took me completely by surprise because if we were any other customer, we’d still simply be asking questions about specific needs, and we were actually interested in purchasing starter items. We left and went to Home Depot where our experience was very different. As a local business completely dedicated to gardening I was disappointed that their staff were not more engaged in educational opportunities for young children.

They have a beautiful and varied selection of plants flowers & flowers that are mostly more expensive than anywhere else. And the customer service is just - not there. No one will acknowledge you until check-out. If you’re able to find someone that might be able to answer a question, expect a short and impatient response that may or may not have any good info about the plant in question. I hear this nursery is moving to Gig Harbor soon. Bye.

Will not be returning... customer service was not poor it just didn't exist, only acknowledged at check out and lady was more concerned about how her copy of the recipt printed didn't even say thanks or have a nice day... quality was subpar and more expensive than others

Rating this nursery one star due to this chick that's worked there forever. She always has a nasty look on her face and if she'd ever say hello and smile her face would crack wide open. This Christmas I took some friends in there and she could not be bothered to chat or say thank you when she checked them out. Her attitude wreaks. Get rid of her and you'd have a great place. I will no longer go there.

This place is overpriced and is more focused on the interior merchandise that is not relevant to this type of store, rather the product out side. The plants are not the quality I have seen and purchased elsewhere. Very expensive for poor quality plants and products. Home Depot and Lowes has a better selection, healthier selection, better selection and quality as well as better prices.

Large nursery with tons of plants. It's low key and they don't mind you lumbering around dreaming of what you'd do if you had a gigantic garden with all the plants.

I stopped going here. I gave it one more try. The outside garden staff has the personality of a rattlesnake, especially Amy. Customers are treated like a nuisance when needing help or have a question. They're moving to Gig Harbor, good luck....

Have gotten some cool tools and pretty plants here over the last TWELVE years but recently had a problem with one of my four $50 shrubs that I’d purchased. I called and talked to Amber and was told that they do not stand behind their plants. She didn’t even ask what the problem was. Won’t be buying here again if they aren’t even willing to ask what is going on. Lame service AND product.

I am giving a 2 star review not based on their plant selection, which is great, but rather their employees lack of smiles, friendliness or even sheer joy to be working amid the beauty nature has to offer. I have shopped there for many years and as an avid gardener also shop elsewhere. go to Watson and everybody is upbeat. you're greeted with a hello and smile by almost every employee. they let you know they're there and happy to help you. Hmmm, maybe that's why it's. easy to drop a few hundred dollars every year. living in Fircrest so close to Willow Tree I'll stop by there to see what's in and if there's something I don't already have. But what a downer vibe. The employees are literally grim. I've been in sales for years and they need an overhaul big-time. its almost like the customer is a burden. And folks, it's been like that for years! Since my last typical visit I just had to write this review in part hoping that they will read or hear about this and take a happy pill! And a Thank You at the close of the transaction is good too.
