Very slow, difficult to fill prescription. I was picking up something for my mom per the hospital’s directions post-OP. The sole pharmacist did not fill the rx (and didn’t communicate with anyone that it was infilled) because she wanted more information from the doctor. She wouldn’t tell me what she needed. I called my mom and spoke with her nurse who said she could be reached directly at a phone number. We hung up and the pharmacist told me she had three other things to do first before she could even make the phone call. I asked the pharmacist how long it would be and she told me at least 45 minutes. Very inconvenient!

I'm a long time Rite Aid customer. I am also a former Store Manager for Rite Aid and the JCPenney Company. This store team is doing an excellent job. It's clear that they focus on core standards. I've never seen a stock cart on the sales floor, no one is running around signing advertised items. All of the associates are focused on the customers. High marks.

I fill my child’s prescriptions here, only due to their acceptance of Molina. The customer service is always less than minimal when John or the Manager Tho Tran are working. They are not ready to begin business and serving customers until well after the hour of operations posted for the pharmacy. I was waited in the parking lot for 30 minute's waiting for the pharmacy to open at the 10 o’clock posted hours time. The Manager arrived after 10, didn’t open the curtains until 10:10 am, I asked for the expected turnaround to fill the new Rx and was told to come back in an hour. My waiting in the parking lot for 30 should be an indication of the pain I was experiencing from my infection. I was the only person there being serviced. All while the manager maintained a steady stare at her computer, not touching medication once 25 minutes.
If you need to prepare for service arrive early, rather than while customers are present.

Poorly managed. A few examples - They don't answer their phone. Then last year I'd made an appt online for a Covid shot that supposedly they stocked, only to show up to find it wasn't. Had to make a new appointment at different location. Another time, received automated message saying a prescription was ready. Arrived less than an hour later. There were no other customers before or after me. Cashier couldn't find prescription after a 5 minute search. Then at 1:30 on the dot, he said that my prescription had been "put away" & if I was "still around" at 2:00, I could get it. The entire pharmacy closed for lunch. No staggered schedule to remain open for people to collect obviously needed medication. Nowhere online, or in the auto message did it say that the entire staff would be gone. Online there is a graph stating the least busy hours, with no lunchtime blocked out. So a supposedly good open time fell within the lunch period. When I arrived, it was at least a full 5 minutes before they closed. There was a sign on the counter about the lunch break but unhelpful at that point. I left & had to go back the next day. Yet another wasted trip. Inconsiderate since it wasn't my fault they're so disorganized. This pharmacy is badly run, with little regard for customer service. Riteaid has lost my future business.

This pharmacy needs to be shut down never have prescription ready always gotta wait 5-6 hours they don't pick up the phone an there just rude

The pharmacy here is absolutely horrible. 15+ minute holds on the phone every single time, for no one to answer anyways. A few weeks ago i was told my medication would be ready by 1230 or something like that and to come then- so i get there and everyone is on lunch for another 30 minutes.. just a whole mess and im about ready to go back to driving the 15 extra minutes to just go back to safeway on 38th. Theyve never caused such irritation trying to get my meds.

This Rite Aide is amazing! The staff is always polite and friendly, as well as knowledgeable and helpful. Including the pharmacy staff, my prescription is always filled quickly. The products here are always of great quality and at reasonable prices. I will be returning for another visit. 10/10

My husband has been using rite aid pharmacy in university place for years. We know the pharmacy are very busy and Im sure the staff may be overworked. Recently theres been new hires and one young women in particular represented the pharmacy very poorly. My husband had colon cancer and now has to take medicine for after effects of chemo-therapy. The medicine is expensive. Lately the prescription gets filled every 2 weeks and if we dont pick it up the same day rite aid automated phone service will call me several times a day to remind us. So when we went to rite aid pharmacy I asked the young women representaive working at the pharmacy counter if we could adjust the amount of times my husbands medicine was filled so we werent picking up medicine every other week or getting calls so often. The young women just kept saying she could take him off the automatic re-fill list so we would have to call rite aid every time he needed a bottle filled. I said no several times thats not what we wanted just to get fewer reminder calls and refills less often. After going back & forth a a few times trying to get this rep to understand she finally said what I wanted wasnt possible. So I said I would call my husbands Dr to adjust the re-fill time line. This happened within 2-3 minutes but there was already a line behind us and 1 women even came right next to us. I did not think my request was outrageous and found the pharmacy rep to be very insensitive and a poor listener. The whole situation could have been avoided if she had just said Im sorry the pharmacy can not adjust the refills and if she did not know how to solve our request she could have asked thepharmacy Dr right behind her! She just did not seem to care at all. So my husband and I leave rite aid and not even 5 minutes later I get a text saying my husband has been unsubsribed from automatic refills! That is exactly what I told the pharmacy rep I DID NOT WANT. Since he is unsubscribed anyways we will be taking our business to a pharmacy that has much better customer service.

Poor service all around from pharmacy. They billed wrong for a med and blamed insurance. Insurance says another thing so I try and call RiteAid back and they will not answer the phones. Get put on hold for hours with nobody actually picking up. Oh, and they actually had the balls to say "there's one in front of you" before putting me on hold for 2 hours before giving up! I've had enough of them. They've been terrible for months now. I'll be going somewhere else after getting this taken care of.

Needs more pharmacy workers. Constantly giving wrong ETAs on when prescriptions will be filled; will say it will take 2 hours get a text 15 min later saying it’s ready (after already leaving); they will say 30 min and I’ll come back having to hear someone say another 2 hours. Pharmacist will say they can’t do a prescription and try to make you go to another rite aid when they have 4 hours to close and not one person in-line for one script. It’s only been this way maybe the last year or so, I don’t know what’s happened but this store used to be my place for probably over a half decade, however it’s now gone down hill drastically.. there’s a lot of good workers here, for instance the male middle eastern pharmacist is amazing, haven’t seen him in a while so not sure if he left or not but he always did a great job, Shelly is another good worker along with another gal I haven’t seen lately.

Terrible service and unfriendly in the pharmacy. Taken 2 weeks and no word. I've called 20 times and gone in 3 times and they don't give me a reason why they are having such a hard time. They offered for me to take more of my person time to contact them through social media, but there come a time when they need to do they job and stop passing customers off and making it their responsibility to have to continually contact you in order to get something done. Plenty of other pharmacies in the area to use. Don't let them waste your time

I went in to this Rite Aid today for the first time & Wow! The customer service I received today from Jordyn was EXCEPTIONAL! She went above and beyond what I would expect. The store was out of a product that I was looking for so, she checked back stock and let me know that a new shipment would be in next week. In addition to that she called Walgreens to see if they had the product.

This place sucks the owner should be involved in day to day operations because the people that work inside just don't care I wish I could post the video but I called these people for hours so I didn't have to make a blank trip no answer from noon until 5pm I went inside the building still calling just to see what would happen there were in the back just talking ignoring the phones completely I could see if they were working making orders etc nope just fiddling with phones and talking to eachother would like to talk to someone from corporate!
