Don’t get me wrong, I am so thankful to have this gas station/mini grocery store in my neighborhood but I am consistently disappointed in the level of service and attentiveness from the employees. They’re either on their phones having full on conversations or video calls WHILE HELPING CUSTOMERS or not available in the store at all.
I get it, employees are tough to find, especially in a small town like ours but there has to be SOME level of customer service standard, right?
The daytime employees seem to be more attentive than the evening but even then, it depend son the day.
Sadly, I’ll continue to stop here when I’m in a bind because it’s the only option but the lack of quality service makes me plan differently when going to Shelton for groceries.

If I could give a 0 star I would. I needed some propane so I went to the chevron. Went in to get propane and asked to get some. He replied one second , he went in the back of the store and came back and said he can't find his coworker? I replied she is in her car out back . He replied he didn't see her and we couldn't get propane? I asked I didn't want to interrupt her break how much longer does she have and I'm willing to wait. He replied I don't know we don't have set break schedules....Like Really?? To the young Man. Your politeness doesn't excuse your lack of customer service and laxadaisiness. Always something at this place.From now on I will drive to Shelton like I was told by the young Man to get my services.

Most frustrating gas pump anywhere! I only stopped here when necessary to get gas to go to another gas station, and each time I do it’s a very frustrating experience. There’s always at least one or two pumps, and sometimes more that when you pull up to them they have a little sign, saying something is not working and either go inside or to go to a different pump. There’s something always wrong with their equipment and they never put out cones to block those pumps. They just leave them open so you drive up to them and then have to move to a new one. Every. Single. Time. This is been going on for a couple of years now. They have some of the most expensive gas anywhere and yet the owner chooses to just negate keeping equipment functioning. We live in Union and we go into the market regularly and I’m choosing to give two stars instead of one because the people who work there are friendly. Please just fix the equipment and maintain it or close it down. I will update my review when they have this consistently fixed since I value them being in the community.

They close early a lot and that causes others to go drive to their store and it’s not open when it should, food is ok and customer service is a little below average, not worth it…

It's really just a gas station, but it has everything you'd hope to find in a gas station-- and If you're staying at the resort, finding a soda for less than $3 will be hard; finding a Pepsi product might be impossible! The Country Store had what I wanted. :)

Last week I stopped to fill my RV with propane. I walked over and POLITELY stated that I was just waiting for propane. The worker was outside busy counting newly delivered Coke products. Rather than take 5 seconds to inform me they couldn't fill RVs with propane any longer he let me stand there 10 minutes and THEN informed me. I WILL NEVER purchase another thing from a store that has such an inconsiderate person. We have bought from the deli, bought groceries and purchased gas/propane here, BUT NEVER AGAIN!!!

Last week I stopped in to get propane for my RV. The Coke truck was blocking the pump so I strolled over to where the store worker was inventorying the Coke products. I politely stated " I'm just waiting for some propane ". Rather than take 5 seconds and tell me they no longer could put propane in an RV, he let me stand there for 10 minutes until he was done counting and THEN told me they could not fill my RV. Thanks to him I will NEVER buy any more groceries, food or gas from them.

Gone way downhill since new ownership took over. Horrible customer service, even worse food, and horribly jacked up prices. The ONLY one star review I've ever given, and it'd be lower if I could.

Our local place to go and always used but today was very disappointing. Leaving the area to go camping for the weekend and needed propane. Was told the cook was to busy for us to get propane, so we were refused a service that is offered there. Complete inconvenience and would understand if it was not a service available or something was broken, but to make an excuse and not even make the slightest effort to help the cook or plan a way to give customer service for something you offer at your station is a slap in the face to your customers.

I just had surgery so can't put any weight on my left foot. My husband drove my son down to Texaco to get me a bag of ice and other items. My son accidently dropped the bag of ice and it broke open. The guy made my son pay for the bag and take the broken bag of ice. So we paid an outrageous price for a half a bag of ice. I have been a manager of a convenience store for 16 years and I would never treat a kid this way. This is the only store by my house but I will drive into Shelton before I go here again.

I got a burrito it had egg shell it was so nasty. And every time I go in there they never wear masks. Disappointed but not surprised.

Reasonable prices and standard service. I love that they had a travel sized toothbrush set!
