Hey, it's one of the last SEARS stores (I think there are +/- 12) in the USA. You should visit just for that. I bought things on my last two visits, too.

Updated- Sears reopened and wow, amazing store. It's beautiful, this is exciting to see Sears come back with a fresh new look but more. The service, the products, the store is all Sears and Im really happy that my favorite retail store is back and looking great. Thanks Sears Union Gap, we customers love the store?I look forward to the reopening of Sears because I'm a loyal Sears customer. It's a beautiful store and I know Sears is going to make it look right as a new concept store. We all love the stores, Sears products, Sears service, Sears employees etc.

Had fond memories of this story since I was a child between here and Kmart this was my parents go to store for us .Father enjoyed the tool section for their craftsman sets .Mother bought countless clothes and toys , I remembered getting the original Gameboy here. The store was so alive .When I heard about sears closing sunnyside and Manton locations I presumed union gap would of been on that list .Since Kmart closed down several years ago sears has been selling alot of their overstock , but this store is empty 99% of the time . I Been frequently observing this place for the last two months to get a grasp of their business at different hours . I would say I was the only customer most of the times as 5 or 6 employees greet me as I walk through all their sections and stare. I would imagine since the store empty for hours on end it would be catching lightning in a bottle then see customers at Sears.Alot of their sections are bare minimum just a weird aura since there no background music just silence as you walk through everything . They have alot sections blocked off like 4 or 6 dressing rooms , area that used to be automotive section by the tools , the shoe section in back ,and other sections blocked with store fixtures .The old entertainment section got turned into mattress sections , alot of the mattress were dirty up through past several years of neglect. Few frames are damage the way some customer plopped right down where they are pretty much touching the ground. Could tell alot of the employees are cross trained to be a floaters or alternate to different sections to save money. As you walked passed alot of the mattress are 60-80% off. They have alot of name brand selections like beautyrest, serta, tempurpedic, sealy, and others. As you walk around you see a wall of mattresses and 5 stacks of adjustable bed 3 feet high on the floor. Same deal 60-80% off retail price for twinxl queen bases serta and beautyrest they are brand new in the box still .Shoe sections decent shoe selection between work boots ,running shoes ,heels, sneakers, long boots, and others the only con I seen is that most of the desirable sizes have been already been grabbed . Unless you are size 4 or size 13 in men's they have plenty of those. Same goes for women shoes .Health and fitness section see alot of marked down floor models and new in box items as well marked down.Appliance section you could sense the Era when these were last placed 2017-2020 even prior. Inexpensive pricing for washer, dryers, refrigerators, and stoves. As much of anything else left in the store it's as is. Much like the mattress there a overflow of appliances.Tool section Used to be such a lively section now it has about 4 aisles of tools and the rest of the showroom is showcasing craftsman tool boxes which as well 30-40% off.Clothe section besides men and woman is very minimal boys, baby boy, girls, baby girl. I would say there between 3-6 racks per section. Men's and woman's have decent size selection ,but most of the time they don't have a price tag on them even though sign says 30-40% off there no pricing on the clothes, just a barcode, know price when you get to register .The 3 or 4 price checker kiosk are oversized non functioning and could tell it was put in in the late 90s or early 2000s.I would say union gap sears might be like seagalley and artic circle where it's the only sears in the nation.Sears is such a big department store of the mall that is facilitates 3-5 entrances with alot of parking which mostly remains empty . Alot of complaints about management through the past 10 years . Unhappy customers with return or refunds due to bypassing the 30 day timeframe . Understand alot of items are as is no warranty . Unsure about lifetime warranty of craftsman still exist, but there no tools to replace it since they don't have any inventory. Most of the cameras are fake don't connect to anything .

Was so excited at first that they were open still bought all my appliances there. Only till I had no more than two months with my refrigerator and it went out and the nightmare hasn’t ended. We already have the technician’s nots stating it’s non economical to repair customer wants a replacement. But we have been without a refrigerator the same amount of time or more from the day we bought it! And that store manager to tell us she was going to find it to herself not to refund or replace it she does deserve what I called her!!!

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES THERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! Our refrigerator went out on us after only two months we have been without a refrigerator for almost the exact amount of time and have only gotten the run around from EVERYONE!! Plus only thing that came out from that store manager was that she was going to see it to herself that we did not get a replacement or our money back and if that ain't stilling you I don't know what is!!!

Our local store is soon to Permanently Close?. I will miss them terribly! The business was always a comfortable place to shop. *** I started shopping at our local Sears in the 1950's...so again, ' I Miss You Sears '....I Miss Good, Reputable Business, I Miss Good 'Friends'?

I'm honestly amazed this store is still in business. Has no inventory. The few workers left don't know what they're doing. Actually found something to purchase and it took 2 cashiers and 10 minutes to ring it up. No new inventory in months
