Bought a couple cars here and traded the first one for it being a messed up frame. The second one is on the way to being traded. Buy somewhere else. All they care about is money.

I had a good experience as a first time buyer program. Got approved at a very good rate, and love my new Chevy Malibu.

As my wife stated, AR1 is very dishonest and have cost us thousands in repairs for the lemon vehicle she sold us. My wife tried contacting her to negotiate in a respectful manner, but Amy doesnt want to take responsibility for her shady buisness deals. She quickly became short tempered on the call and ended up hanging up. (Professional? Not at all!) It's pretty obvious why her shop closed down, they had more than one complaint. In addition, the mechanics (2 different mechanics from 2 different shops) have identified poor quality installment of the parts put in my wife's vehicle. My wife considered trading in her vehicle with Amy but we know we will just be screwed again. Buyers beware! Oh, and her claiming the car was run low on oil is bogus. My wife gets her oil changed too frequent! Every 4 months or so to be exact.
Edit: 10+ reviews? I'd love to know where these 10+ reviews I personally left are? lol. You're reaching. I'm sorry my one truthful review is upsetting you, but if you were an honest person, maybe this wouldn't be so upsetting? Karma will do its job. I'm not worried about that. And post whatever you want. I'm happy to post the certified letter from the mechanic stating the terrible job your ex mechanic did. But any potential customers are welcome to message me for full information including all repair receipts on the vehicle for the last 19 1/2 months of owning that horrible vehicle.

I purchased a vehicle from AR1 less than 2 years ago. Less than 90 days after purchasing the vehicle it started making funny noises that concerned me. I took it in (at the time, AR1 had their own shop which I thought was a good thing) and they told me the timing chains needed replaced. Obviously, I was very upset. I just purchased this vehicle and now I was expected to pay lots of $$ to fix my new car. Amy, the owner, after my husband expressed his frustrations, she offered to pay for the labor costs if we would pay for the parts. We took her deal (and were grateful). We still paid a lot of money, but not as much as we would've paid. Not long after, 3-4 months maybe, the water pump needed replaced. So, we had AR1 replace the water pump. Fast forward to today.....Guess what? My engine is toast! I drove my car just fine, no sounds or concerns and the very next day it wouldn't start. I had it towed to a shop that told me the timing chains needed replaced (again!) Extremely upsetting! I called Amy and let her know what was going on. I was very upset and asked what she may offer as a trade. (I didnt ask for her to do anything beyond possibly accepting the car for trade in so I could get a reliable vehicle) I waited a week and didn't get the trade in value as I requested. but also told her I may pay for the repair, so I didnt get upset.
She called around and said she spoke to a service tech at Chevy and he would do the repair at a reduced cost to what I was quoted at the shop I had my car towed to. So I decided to pay more $ to have my vehicle towed to Chevy to have to fixed. (200 out in towing alone, $310 out for diagnostics at the first shop) I was quoted 1900, 2500 max. Yesterday, I received a call from the tech saying it would be 2900. I asked why so much more and he informed me that the water pump was very bad and he didn't feel comfortable putting it back in the car. So at this point, 16 months & 13 months later, both parts replaced by AR1s shop were needing replaced AGAIN. I told chevy to go ahead I would pay for it. Today. I received a call from Chevy letting me know he had bad news. He informed me the timing chain had broke off and damaged the engine. The engine isnt salvageable and needs replaced. So now I'm looking at a $7,300 bill. The tech told me he has had more than one customer who has purchased from AR1 who have purchased vehicles with problems. He said he wished the owner would be more honest about the vehicles she sales. In addition, I asked him his professional opinion about how in the world the timing chain could've broke just 16 months after replacemen to which he informed me that either AR1 didnt replace the chains, used old parts, or put the new parts on poorly causing the damage now. He said hes never seen so much damage. I am on my way to see the damage for myself and take photos for my records.
I called Amy to inform her of the situation and that the 2 repairs i had done in her shop were no good according to the Chevy shop. Amy became very defensive and accused me of taking advantage of her, that any expectation was unrealistic for her to help me and then she hung up. She has proven how unprofessional and shady she really is and that is sad as I thought she was a really nice person and I was happy to have purchased 2 vehicles from her. But in reality. It was the biggest regret of my life. Please reconsider AR1 and save yourself the heartache! My vehicle was approx 11k at purchase, and now with this 7300 bill I have paid more than the 11k in repairs. That is robbery!
Additional note: Amy claims I am speculating regarding this information however this is based on a mechanic reviewing the vehicle and discovering that dishonest work had been done. Amy has made up numbers claiming my oil was low (although I hadn't taken my car to her shop in a very long time due to poor customer service) and she is claiming it was 9 months since my last oil change when in fact I had my oil changed last October 2018! I have had 5 oil changes in the 20 month

Very displeased with the lack of customer service as I was shopping for a vehicle this past week. Apparently I wasnt the propriety as the sales girl kept wandering off. I dont appreciate my questions not being answered about things I noticed wrong on the vehicle's thus an untrained eye would miss. They definitely buy cheap, bottom of the line cars to turn a profit. Sadly, many are getting scammed due to this dealers dishomesilties.

Franky was very quick to return our calls and emails. He also researched the truck to make sure it could be flat towed behind our RV and also pull our boat, and answered all our other questions. We, of course, double checked and everything he told us was correct. We drove 3 hours to test drive our truck and were very happy to find it was exactly as described. We made 1 offer on the truck, it was rejected, then accepted a few minutes later, some paperwork, and then we took our new baby home. We would definitely buy from them again.
