The employees are few and far between. Checkers are slow as molasses. Self check stole 20 dollars from me and I had to wait forever for them to review the camera footage, meanwhile I had a sick toddler with me. Also, I bought a book my son already had, so I bought the book he needed, and even though my transaction of the first book came straight out of my checking account, they wanted to give me store credit. Maybe I don't want to shop at this trashy store again?! In the end I got my cash back, a whopping 12 dollars because their stupid machine froze up. You could see the book hadn't ever been even thumbed through. I hate this cruddy store. Haven't been there since and it's probably been about 4 years now. Lol!

I know! It's Walmart but I gotta say, here in this area, they have wonderful Bavarian cream Bismarck's! The staff in tge bakery dept are super friendly and helpful! The Bismarck's melt in my mouth while the Bavarian cream is so tasty! The price is great! I'm impressed!

Ordered groceries here without any problems. Folks were kind and service was excellent. Inside store was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly. I usually order 2 day shipping from this store if my local WM doesn't have what I need. Only thing I didn't like was the high prices on plants but then again the store is directly across from a Home Depot. Their prices for plants are probably pretty good compared to theirs. Parking lot was non-sketchy which means there wasn't a tent city of homeless folks with bull horns, RVs, transfer trucks etc. Give me a parking lot where I don't have to scan the area like a security camera every few seconds. Make sure you take you shopping bags with you 'cause the ones in the store are only available for purchase. Keep up the great work folks!

This is a very good Walmart location. I needed to finish my Christmas shopping and this location one truly one-stop shopping. The staff were incredible, from Debbie who gave me an amazing greeting entering and departing the store, and Ben (I believe that was his name) in electronics that checked me out in his department, so I could avoid the enormous line in the front. I met all of my shopping needs for the year, that included cards and gift. I would definitely shop at this Walmart location again.

Delivery, forget about it. Horrible communication. My last order they said they delivered it and nothing was delivered. Called Customer Care they said wait 48 hours....for food delivery? Really? WTF?

Over a dozen check-out counters, but I've only ever seen several of them staffed, leading to 15 minutes+ wait times to pay for my items - not acceptable. Last time I ended up using self-checkout and the items were not priced correctly. Reported the problem to customer service - no apology, no understanding of what went wrong, and instead of refunding me my money, I was given a walmart gift card, forcing me to return to this store, which is doubtful.

The front ticket checker is racist. I bought two 200 paper plates that doesn't fit in a bag with receipt in hand. The front door checker stops me and because he thinks I look suspicious and ask for my receipt. I give it to him and he says nothing. So I watch the next shopper hand him her receipt and he refuses to see her ticket because she was white and tells her it's ok and to move along. I ask him why he didn't check hers but wanted to check mine. He replies you didn't have a bag. I told him my paper plates won't fit in a bag and you don't have to buy a bag. If your gonna stop me and checky receipt. You better check everyone else's are you being racist. He then tells me to shut up and get the hell out of here. Your lucky I didn't punch your face but instead I reported your goofy ass to the manager. Walmart hires trash because that's what Walmart is. Trash

I'm not sure any Walmart rates above a 3 star, which I think would disappoint Sam Walton. The Tumwater store isn't too bad though. It's large and seemed clean and organized for the most part. Parking would be my biggest complaint. The spots are small and pick-up trucks don't fit. Therefore taking up two spots or parking in the farthest spots (which sucks when it's raining). They definitely tried to make as many spots as they can but this is Tumwater and Washington.... Tons of people drive pick-ups. We have a Chevy Silverado 2500HD, which I wouldn't consider a big truck really, but parking that bitch at the Tumwater Walmart is a challenge.

Staff are rude. Nothing is ever stocked. You cannot use certain tender for USCAN and they won't tell you until you've stood in line for 15 minutes. You're just supposed to know. Other human ran registers are never open. Grounds are unkept and dirty. Once I parked next to a shrub full of uncapped needles. Today was no exception, besides the fact it was only one this time.
