The service at the store is beyond horrendous. When you ask for something specifically they send you to a generic source and let you try to figure it out yourself. One example, most recently, is that I asked for ice cream that is sold independently rather than committing to an entire box. I was sent to the frozen foods where everything is sold only by the box. When I asked the manager, her response was “but we only sell it by the box, what do you expect? You need to go out to the fuel station to buy ice cream independently. And why would one think that a fuel station would sell ice cream?! Just curious.

My absolute favorite Safeway in these tri-cities! The best and friendliest employees around. It's always sunny in this Safeway :)

I can get free food here if I use my credit card, it doesn’t even take money out of my account! My old feeble dad said I am in debt but I don’t get it because I am not paying anything.

Not the cheapest but a good middle of the road grocery store that is seemingly just down the street from anywhere you call home in WA State.

5 Stars all to Jose, the tall, handsome Gentleman (goatee and a hat) not only saved my night but secured my Day! My fiancé needs strawberries for her lunch and because of Valentine's Day tomorrow the only strawberries there were chocolate covered, i couldn't use those but thanks to his can do attitude he said sit tight I'll see what i can do and badabing badaboom! Mr. Worldwide himself said Dalé and jose came in with a plethora of strawberries that had yet to be put out and he is the Epitome of a bro who's got your back!

Very chill store, even during holiday rush, it's clean, friendly staff, and always seem to have what I need.

I love the bagels at Safeway. They are so good. The bakery at this Safeway is very clean. I went to the Safeway closer to my house to get bagels and left because it was dusty and dirty around the bagel bins. I will only get my bagels from this Safeway.

This is my nearest market so is always a wonderfully quick stop for pharmaceuticals, and even basics like milk bananas apples, etc. I do not do any of my "big" shopping as the store prices seem quite high for the quality of the products sold, not to mention it's more of a small-chain "corporate" feel. Less than .2 miles north of this Safeway is a fantastic GEM of a grocer by the name of Spud's Produce Market: in this locally focused find they can replenish your growlers with local craft brews, they represent local bakers artisans and farmers (I bought 9 varieties of apples at the end of my last stop), and they have the best intense variety of coolio condiments I had never heard of quite literally went through the store loading my shopping cart to overflowing, and did the same with a second cart... it was like Christmas in November! So sorry, Safeway: my vote will always go to Spuds. Note: I would have assigned only 2 stars so unimpressive and unremarkable the location and what I've seen of "professionalism" among the floor staff, but Safeway Cleveland Ave PHARMACY? Big HIGH-FIVE and MANY THANKS and public recognition for the efficiency speed accuracy determination and the positive attitudes of pharmacists and pharmacy techs... seriously YOU ROCK!

This is the fancy Safeway. Much better than the westside Safeway!

My go to grocery store, the only downside is the wait to get booze out of the, "premium liquor cabinet."
