We have a tremendous view of the Sound! The best in all of Olympia. I have been so pleased with my time at Montair at Somerset Hill.
Melissa, Aaron, and Emily have always been extremely professional and timely when handling issues.
Additionally, I have always appreciated the friendliness and courtesy which which their entire staff operates.
Thank you for making life better for us here in Tumwater! ?

Maintenance is awesome! They fix my issues in a timely manner and are always professional and polite. I’ve worked with Tanner several times to get things fixed and replaced and he’s always been super nice and helpful.

Cherina gave me a tour of the community and I was very impressed, the community looks great and inviting. I'll be applying in the winter when I move to Washington! Highly recommend.

The maintenance team is the best! I’m consistently impressed with how attentive they all are, especially Justin. He is extremely nice and gets things done so quickly. It’s clear he cares about his work and making the apartments the best they can be. Thank you Justin! :)

I just had a great experience with the maintenance department! Tanner was our maintenance guy and he came out and fixed a light switch, door and replaced the dishwasher (the other one was old and lost power). I scheduled the maintenance this morning online and by 3:30 he was done. He was friendly, professional, efficient, hard working and very skilled. My experience with the staff here at Montair is really great. Thank you Tanner!
I am a new tenant moving in and I have been so impressed with the office staff! I have worked with Emily and Michelle. We had some computer glitches with the lease that occurred when the apartments were changing ownership. These 2 ladies never gave up trying to find the solution and had backup plans at the ready.
The property is beautiful and we are very excited to move in.

Paper thin ceilings/floors and walls. You can hear everything going on all around you, it's kind of insane how thin the ceilings and floors are especially. I'm afraid my upstairs neighbors will come crashing through the ceiling at any moment, and they seem to enjoy throwing large heavy balls directly at the floor for their dog. The rental agents have no problem lying to you about the noise, and telling you they're probably doing maintenance work up there if you view the apartment ahead of time and ask what is that. which I highly advise viewing the unit you plan to rent, bc the cleaning and maintenance in between is rushed and shoddy, not really ready when they say it will be. Upon move in, a window was missing a screen, there were no drip-pans in the stove-top and a large metal plate was jutting out into the kitchen from under the dishwasher, and the ceiling fan did not work, the window sills, front door and back porch were filthy. There's still electrical problems, and caulk splattered literally all over the bathtubs still I'm having a hard time scrubbing it off why is it even there? And after all that the rental agent accused me of having high standards, like I don't deserve a house that works for all that money I gave them?! Anyways, hate it! would give zero stars if I could.

Twice I have made an appointment to tour the facility, once on an Monday for an in person tour once as a virtual tour, and both times I have been notified 2 minutes before my appointment that they could no longer give me a tour. Their reasoning was that they dont do tours on Mondays and they dont give virtual tours despite it being an option on their website.
This is unacceptable behavior, especially since these appointments were made days in advanced and someone could have easily seen the reservation and then canceled it. I think this is very telling of the quality of staff that is hired at this complex and quality of their service. I would advise that you look elswhere if you want to rent in the area.
