Getting just one prescription filled every month is so painful at Costco in Tumwater, WA. So many of their technicians are arrogant, rude & it feels abusive. Weird, as every Costco member pays $60-ish annually to walk through their doors, shop & buy their products. Evidently their pharmacy is for elite snobs, no membership needed to receive terrible service & get treated horribly. I thought pharmacy was equivalent to healthcare? Scary.
April 30, 2024, I went in to pick up my monthly prescription & was treated horribly by Sheila G. She was short, curt, loud & asked me inappropriate questions. Also, she ran off with my driver's license, then returned it, took my money, slammed the register closed without giving me my $13 change due and then she turned around & left. I was left standing there for over five minutes until some other pharmacy employee noticed me & asked why I was standing there. Unbelievable & some variation of this abuse happens every few months... for paying to be a member. Wow!

One of the worst pharmacies I have ever made the mistake of using. Skip the misplaced medications and them blaming it on you when there is no possible way I’m the one who entered information wrong and attempted to double fill things and then blamed the customer. Oh and if you try to get your prescriptions transferred? They just don’t do it! They mess with your well being and don’t care.

The management and employees of this Store should be ashamed of their coworker "Gabi", an elderly Caucasian female who yelled, berated, and gave inappropriate, hatful stares at my 7 year old for accidentally dropping a box of strawberries in the refrigerated section. What a disgusting and disappointing moment.

Worst service I have ever had they do not record your insurance information then they blame you! when you get upset after multiple times, I’m giving them your insurance information they tell you maybe you should take your medication somewhere else the manager does absolutely nothing to fix this problem. If I could give a lesser review star, I would, I do not recommend coming here for medication’s. It’s an absolute joke. I was diagnosed with Covid and influenza not only am I risking myself, but other people because they don’t want to do their jobs. They. Should have their license to prescribe medication taken away from them. They are risking peoples license and health.

Wow! What is the deal with the food court? Yes the food is affordable, yes it tastes good. But the customer service is seriously lacking. If you don't take cash, then don't have a register, and post a sign that says No Cash. or add a cash machine at the self order computers. But to stand at a register (with a line of people) waiting to place an order, and waiting 15 minutes trying to get anyone to pay attention to you is ridiculous. Everyone in line gave up, I understand you're busy. But to flat out ignore, avoid eye contact, and purposely turn your backs to customers, is ridiculous.

Customer service is not top here, only been a few times and each time has been met with poor customer service. And apparently we cannot expect the website for this location to show accurate information about their hours and vaccine clinic hours (which are not remotely correct seeing as they are only open for vaccines 10-4 (?) MTThF and not W or Sat yet you can make appts for Saturdays).

Bizarre experience at the pharmacy. Had never used it before, but since I was shopping, it was convenient. The clerk was so consumed with the fact that "my insurance " didn't cover it. It cost $5.99! I didn't want to mess around with insurance! Then they got my cell number wrong. Never got a text. The next clerk was odd. Directed me to the wrong window. The pharmacist asked me "have WE ever taken this before?" And "be sure to eat some food with this "FOR ME." I know he was talking to me as if I was a child because I'm an older woman. I'm beyond disgusted

The people here are really kind and helpful. This is probably one of the best Costcos I have been to. I was feeling lightheaded and dizzy while standing by some of the food right before you walk toward the register and an employee saw me and asked me if I was okay. He had someone get me a chair and water which was very kind and unexpected. They have a great team of people at this location.

Every one (well maybe not literally) has been to Costco. Every State has a Costco and the stores in that State has items that are related to that State. I think there are even stores outside of the USA, how cool would it be to see what they have? Great place to sample new food items (or graze at lunch time), get furniture, and the hotdog lunch! Where else can you eat for $1.50 + applicable sales tax? I just wish they still had the onions for the hot dog

Best pharmacy I’ve ever been to.Open late, though not open on Sundays.Plenty of efficient, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Even when they have a line, it never takes long. They answer their phone, follow through on customer requests promptly, and have stellar standards of professionalism. No drive thru, but even better- with most meds you can get free delivery through instacart (no instacart membership required) with a $35+ Costco order. This service sometimes makes me wish I had a prescription ready! Lol
