Moved my apartment contents cross-country to a storage unit and had zero issues. Friendly staff and prompt replies whenever I had questions. I’m really pleased with the results. Thank you, NAVL!

This company is horrific and their business practices are illegal. Run, run, run. Be prepared for nobody in the service department to help you and for the drivers to add hundreds and hundreds of dollars to dollars to your total for things that should have been included in the quote. I'm paying $5k for a $2.6k quote for 150sq ft worth of boxes. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. I have been calling since the second week of August to get an idea of when my stuff will come. I was told "a couple of days" then "next Monday or Tuesday" and then "I'll call you back" but nobody ever called back. I was asking because I had a business trip coming up and needed to plan since it was out of state. Once I left for my business trip, I get a text from the driver saying, "I'll be there tomorrow." I call and say I've been asking for weeks and I'm out of state can they deliver on Saturday and they tell me, "that'll be an extra $700." So I had to CANCEL MY BUSINESS TRIP to BUY AN EXTRA PLANE TICKET back to get my stuff. They also told me it'll be an extra "$300 to move stuff from an 18-wheeler back to a van. They had my address from the beginning and could have included it in the quote. Had I known this was going to be my experience I would have put all my stuff in storage and left with nothing. You're better off burning your items and starting over than dealing with these con artists. Update: mover came and I'm missing ALL my irreplaceable original artwork and dog kennel. Who knows what else is gone, will find out once I unpack. Please do not use these people, I have no idea who they're paying to give them high ratings.

Moved items not taken care very well. Boxes were beat up and some things broken., some items came from someone else’s belongings. Furniture items not put back together. All we heard was it was not their fault. Then there was a pricing issue. So all in all not a very good experience.

Chuck is fabulous. He greatly helped us with our move from Seattle to Florida. He made something last minute happen for us (packing) with his local team the day before the load was picked up and thank goodness because it was more than we could handle. Great service and quality. They made this move much easier for us and smooth! Great communication & referral for our car mover as well. NA van lines / Neighbors rocks! Full stop shop.

Competitive prices, reliable, quick to pack and unpack, delivery was much faster than originally planned. I would definitely use them again.

Pickup left damage to our home. Delivery was delayed by 5 days with no notice until the day before it was supposed to arrive. Delivery unpackers did not follow instructions - at least 50% of boxes were placed in incorrect rooms, one worker spent 30 min in the bathroom and just kept trying to sell us other services. Our child’s mattress was lost, likely delivered to someone else. Attempts to get it delivered were met with unresponsive news and broken commitments (by the end of week, I’ll call you today etc.) When I finally requested to make a claim to buy a new mattress, the claims rep abruptly hung up on me. Would never use again.

North American Van Lines is a scam. They say they are the number 1 carrier and will give "white glove" service on packing , transporting and delivery. They say delivery with 2-3 business days after pick up. It's not true 1) North American Van Lines is a call center , the bid out the moving work they unreliable 3rd party movers after signing a contract. 2) North American Van Lines takes no responsibility after they bait and switch. They don't help with contacting the 3rd party mover or when they do they get bogus delivery dates. Every Sat & Sunday and never call to schedule delivery as they say they will 3) Don't use North American Van Lines they are a sleezy call center out of Pompano Beach Florida . We are looking at taking legal action it has been over a month since the pick up and no estimate on delivery on what was 600 miles .

This company is the absolute WORST. The head guy of our 3 man crew was rude right from the start, and lied about the drive time. They also showed up with a truck too big to fit into the storage facility garage (even though I confirmed ahead of time on the phone that they would have a truck that fit by giving the exact dimensions of the entryway. "Oh we couldn't get one of those trucks today"). So we had to use up at least 15 minutes just trying to figure out how to best get the truck as close as possible. Which of course they included in the "drive time" which was already highly exaggerated. Then upon unloading the truck that they had packed our stuff on when we got to our new state, we were dismayed to find that they had damaged pretty much everything we own, including flat out breaking bookshelves, dressers, tables, etc. There were marks and dents on pretty much everything. Then they make it so difficult to file a claim (and make you wait forever for a result), that we ended up just filing for the worst damaged (completely destroyed) piece of furniture that was new and very expensive and that was so blatantly mishandled. It was $388 to purchase and they ended up settling for $72. Because that is the "insurance" they offer. Total scam of a business. At best, they have no idea what they are doing. At worst, they hire people who intentionally destroy your property. Zero stars.

I've moved at least 5 times with the help of a moving company and this is hands-down the worst experience I've had so far. We were told we had to move during the pandemic because our landlord wanted to move into the house we were renting. It was a really stressful time trying to find housing when everyone has been instructed to stay at home and we had a deadline so I didn't do all the research into moving companies that I should have done and I paid for it quite literally. When we finally found a place they wanted us to move immediately so I again rushed to try and find a moving service within a 4 day window of signing the lease. Neighbors was the first company to call me after I requested a quote and the guy I spoke to asked me a couple of questions and then quoted me $676 for the move. He told me that all their movers are licensed and professional, that it's a veteran-owned company and that they would pro-rate it if the move took longer than estimated. He assured me they could disassemble and reassemble the beds (I asked about this before he gave me the quote). Everything sounded good. He was quite pushy about booking and I thought the price seemed too good to be true but again was feeling desperate and decided to just go for it. I set aside $1,000 just in case they were wrong about the estimate and sent them an inventory list plus updates even though they never asked me for one to try and obtain a more accurate quote. A few days before the move they sent me a confirmation email that had a link to view my quote and inventory list. I clicked on it and it still said $676 and had no inventory list attached. I assumed that the inventory list I had provided had gone into account and they were sticking with the original estimate with that in mind. Day of the move they showed up, looked around at the property and quoted me $2017 and 10 hours to move everything which seemed ridiculous. I honestly did not have that much but they had already driven out there and we had packed up everything. I thought surely they must be wrong on the time estimate and it wouldn't be that much. It was more than twice what I was quoted on the phone so I thought it must be wrong. The lead guy explained to me that we had been charged for the travel fees for them to drive out from Seattle, this was the first I'd been told of this extra charge. The guy I spoke with on the phone did not mention where they were coming from or that this fee was not included in my quote! When I heard $676 I thought that covered everything and was never told otherwise. At first we thought they seemed like nice, friendly guys but they have clearly been poorly trained. They dawdled around, putting things on dollies that could easily have been carried to the truck and then leaving them sitting on the dollies. Multiple times I saw stuff fall off the dollies, and most of it was not wrapped or secured in any fashion. We took several loads to the new house ourselves because they couldn't take the cat beds and other unwrappable items. During one of these trips they took a 45 minute break, and another break later which we didn't think much of at the time. When they reached the new house we instructed them three times to only move the dressers upstairs and pile everything else into the garage because we figured that would cut down on time and the cost. By this point it had been 10 hours including all the driving and their breaks which we were charged overtime for even though they never worked 8 consecutive hours! The total was somehow basically $2000 even though we had a garage full of all of our stuff and both beds were unassembled. When we returned to our old rental the next day to get the rest of the stuff ALL the doors were wide open!! We couldn't believe it! It took us 3 uhaul rentals to get the rest of the stuff even though I assume the quote they gave after the walk-through included everything. I tried contacting their customer service representative Randy P****** to express how unhappy I was with the service. I wanted to give them

It cost 297.46 just to have these two guys out with their truck, (2 hours of travel time at the listed rate, even though they were really only took about 75 of that 120 minutes to and from my locations) Then an additional 669.29 for 4.5 hours because they took their time until the last 30 minutes. We’ve had to make 3 additional trips so far to move all the stuff they refused to move. When I reached out to this business for a quote, I not informed that it would cost 300 just to have them out, and 150 per hour extra, and that the “professionals” have professional equipment but horrible customer service, and they are rarely in a hurry. When the mover called at 11am on moving day to see if he could bring another guy along, and have me pay the 3 person rate, and I said no, he told me he would have to take him back and drop him off. I had a feeling I should have cancelled and called another company. I wish I had. I will next time. This final cost is about double what I expected to pay for two guys to help move for 3-4 hours. And it was quite unexpected since the first time I was told a realistic number, my belongings were already partially loaded in their truck. And even at that point I was told that was the maximum and I made it clear that is not something I could afford. I am a single mother on disability, and these guys helped themselves to $976.54 of the $1097 I get each month, plus damaged some items and left a lot of the work for us. I would never recommend them.

It has taken me almost a year to write this review as I was waiting for Neighbors Moving to rectify the problems that happened during my 2 moving experiences with them in 2019. Here’s what I learned: It’s up to chance the quality of movers/workers that arrive at your house. Our 1st experience of moving from a sold house to a storage unit went smoothly until Neighbors movers made us aware the next day that they had inadvertently left some things on the truck. They promptly returned them within the next few days. This made us wonder how long it would have taken us to notice because all our belongings were put into storage until we found a new house. We decided to use them again 2-1/2 months later when we bought a house as we felt that if anything had gone wrong during the move to storage, hiring the same company would give us some leverage if we found damages not noticed as they were putting things into storage. That’s when we noticed the difference in the quality of movers/workers. They didn’t take as much time making sure to not scrape/nick the walls. They dropped boxes. They damaged furniture. While the first movers were able to put everything onto 2 trucks, these second movers couldn’t, as they forgot some keys, so had to load from the side, meaning they had to go back a second time to the storage area. Seeing them open the side doors gave me my first glimpse of horror as I saw a lot of things askew in the truck as they weren’t properly tied down. I wish I would have taken pictures. While listening to them talk to one another we quickly learned that some of them were brand new to the moving experience. We were unable to watch all of them at all times and learned before they left that money had gone missing from my hidden purse. We made the supervisor on site aware of the situation and asked him how he would like to handle the matter. He was mortified and said he would call his dispatcher/supervisor. He apologized profusely and assured us that the boss of the company would take care of the issue tomorrow. We said that the amount stolen was supposed to be their tip so needless to say they weren’t getting one. Later that night we realized that checks could have been stolen, credit cards could have been compromised…so we needed to change all those accounts. It took a few days for Randy from Neighbors Moving to get back to us, but in the meantime, we had filed a police report knowing that there probably wasn’t much that the police were going to be able to do as we only had the first names of the movers. Randy informed us that sorry, he could not reimburse us for the STOLEN money, why didn’t we call the police at the time as that is what he would have done, and finally in regards to our claim of damaged items, we would have to fill out a form which we learned over the course of the last 10 months only made Neighbors Moving responsible for about 600$ of our estimated $2,500-$3,000 in claims. And over ½ of that $600 we received was because Randy reimbursed us for the extra hour of overtime that we had to pay due to the movers having to go back a second time. To make a long story shorter… 1. You get a 50-50 chance that you’ll get good movers (actually not even that high of a % as the first movers left items on the truck) …. 2. Don’t let the movers out of your site as even hidden money could be found and CALL THE POLICE if you notice anything amiss BEFORE they leave… 3. We just got the standard insurance so don’t even know if the other insurance that is offered will help you... 4. You would think a company would want to rectify your poor moving experience but, in the end, you are just a number to them 5. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK

I put a $100 deposit down with them to hold my spot. They told me the deposit was fully refundable. After deciding to go with a different company and letting them know with in 24 hours of putting the deposit down they claimed to be unable to refund the deposit. If you look up their yelp reviews, their BBB reviews they are running quite the scam it seems like. I am super glad I decided to cancel with them and go with another company. It seems like they do this a lot or misquote people prices. They also claim to be in Seattle when they are not. They wanted to charge 1.5 hours of travel time at the full moving rate. If your name is "neighborsmovingseattle" and you are not in Seattle that is false advertisement. I would highly recommend staying away from these guys.

All the movers were awesome, extremely careful with our belongings. Very respectful The driver was very experienced, he had to back down a long curved drive in a cul-de-sac for the pick up, but had no problems. Cost was good compared to others for out of state moving. Payment was easier than others, as well. The onsite estimate was almost perfect. We would highly recommend them.

We've had mixed results from movers in the past, and were not looking forward to having to deal with them again. The people from Neighbors turned that around for us. When we were asking for bids, Neighbors was the only company who actually came to our home to see what all needed to be moved. Their crew were very good about packing only our stuff and leaving other family members' stuff in place. Throughout the ordeal of moving, Gilbert's crew made sure we knew what was going on, and helped us trust that our stuff was in good hands. Thanks guys!
