“I love this place. I've used them on several occasions over the last few years and every time their customer service is excellent--they treat me as if I was a friend coming over for a visit. Typically I pack my own packages but with the crunch of the holidays, I didn't have time to find a box, buy tape, etc. So today I asked them to do it--so fast, so easy, and very affordable. And the wait is typically very short, if any (today there was no wait). Definitely recommend The Mailbox.”

“i'll be forthcoming and say the only services i am reviewing are return packages with pre paid labels and the shipping of holiday boxes. the first thing i absolutely appreciate is the opening hour because as someone who goes to work before 8am, it's near to impossible i find a place where i can drop off a return package either a pre paid label before 8am. the post office doors have been locked that early in the past few months and to drop it off after work means i've missed the pick up time and it sits and waits til the next day. today i decided to bypass the usps thinking it would be hell on wheels ahead of christmas. i showed up and there was one other person in front of me. the guy decided to help me at the coffee counter and he was super nice. it wasn't cheap to mail boxes this close to the holiday but i opted for priority on a couple and ground on another. it's not their fault that that's the going rate to ship stuff nowadays. i will be coming back here because it's just easier on me logistically and the experience was totally pleasant. it's a valid alternative to standing in line at the post office and your packages and sanity might thank you for it!”

“Been a customer the past 2 years. Excellent service as a mailbox holder and also mailing out. Now that our West Seattle full-service UPS shop has closed, I wish this business would assume that role, but so far it’s a drop-off for UPS outgoing only if you have a fully prepared label you’ve done online. The staff are sooooo warm and courteous. This is a small local business trying really hard to provide great service! The negative notary reviews should be taken with a grain of salt because that is a technical process with complex rules subject to the notary’s interpretation, so they don’t lose their license. Also, it’s a lengthier service compared to shipping & receiving, so you might be asked to wait while the line of other customers is cleared. Lastly, I believe there’s only one notary in this shop, vs 2-3 others who don’t have that authority. And he might be on a break.”

Manny, Preet, and the rest of the representatives are outstanding at giving professional and efficient service. Not only are they knowledgeable, they are extremely patient and kind in dealing with customers.
In regards to negative reviews, let me say this. I am doing business in this store 3-5 days a week, and have the opportunity to watch and overhear interactions. I will say that the majority of the time it is the customer who is the challenge.”

They answered all my questions and helped me with any issues I might have had. I was hesitant to go to the location , because of the ratings. However they are within walking distance of my home. Honestly Im glad I did, I was in and out with no issues or complaints.”

“Circled a few times to find parking. Had 1 amazon package they wouldn't take without a box. Drove back home to get it. Two employees present. The guy was helpful but the new employee needs more training in professionalism, friendliness, and just overall customer service. I dont expect 5 star service. Just common social cues. I also ended up paying $2+ for tape that they taped my box closed with. In the past even when I've taped it closed, they did a courtesy by taping some parts some more without charging me. So to be fair, maybe because there was no line that they charged me for it whereas in the past they must've did it to keep the lines moving. I love the convenience of the location. Just don't love the parking situation and the long lines (sometimes). Employees are usually, always friendly. Just 1 off experience today.”

To the people who are angry about waiting, have some patience, you are at the shipping office because you need some things done, this takes time; if you had all of the fixings in order you would have done door pick-up.”
