Personal opinion the make up artists are good at their job but they are not top tier I got told there was a 4 product purchase for a full face which is definitely pushing it to far cause it’s not that good and they said they have high quality make up artist but they’re not high quality they’re just basic make up artist and they shades other companies like Sephora which is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional because they think their make up artist are the best in the world when it’s just basic that’s all they let the compliments get to them and give them a big head saying they are high quality no I beg to differ cause I’ve seen non professionals do better or the same as them they let it get to their head to much

I wish I got the associates name but i went in around 11:20am 11/27, he was sooo kind and helpful. I went in trying to figure out if makeup was the best option to covering up my neck tattoo. He went in showing me how to use the color corrector (keep in mind, I'm literally clueless about what to blend or just makeup in general) then kindly explain the build up process. Although my tattoo wasn't covered as I'd liked(gone lol) he did recommend online products with amazing reviews. Thank you for the experience, I'm not scared of makeup anymore!

Very disappointed in the customer service. Called 4 times and was unable to get directions to the store from inside the mall. When I finally found the store the young lady was defensive and not apologetic. Not the way to treat an elder. I won't be buying from this store.

i came to mac almost in tears after sephora ruined my wedding trial makeup and kirstin came through for me... i loved every single thing she put on me it looked so natural and my wedding photos came out perfect. im a beginner but i wanted to save money doing my own makeup and she showed me every step. she even texted me tips and. Followed up to see how it turned out. very very impressed with the service and will be back for all my makeup

If you are new to the world of makeup or have been choosing your own color pallet since before you could drive this is definitely the way to go. Both Joel B. and Nikia L. were beyond amazing. They were managing to help me and those who came into the store with a warm, friendly, professional and Extremely helpful attitude. What I loved most about them was their personality and their kindness. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or I feel like I didn't know what I was doing. They were a both amazing and Mac is lucky to have them. If they are not managers I would highly recommend that they become one because they are definitely a great addition to the company!

Arrived at 8:15 PM when the sign said it closedAt 9 PM. Doors were locked and the associate was frantically counting money to close her drawer. I needed foundation but had to work late. The associate saw me and literally shoooed me away with her hand she signaled for me to go away. So I walked down a few doors to Morphie, better selection, great customer service and fantastic product that was way less expensive. I loved the staff at Morphie and spent lots of money!! Go to Morphie and check out those Uoma lip sticks (To die for). I will never go back to the SouthCenter Mac store again.

If you are looking for the best, then look no further than the MAC store for the best makeover of your life! Arnell and Lakisha (the best makeup artists) made me feel like my best self- more than I have in a long time! Not only did they make me feel so pretty with the extravagant makeover, but they were very personable and taught me some great tips to try at home by myself. Mewu was also another makeup artist that was very complimentary and helpful finding different items that would work for me too! If only I had enough time to explain the amount of time they put in to help me look so good! They made it look effortless of course! I am so thankful that I stopped in the store while I was away in Seattle for a short weekend trip. If I could have brought them back to Illinois with me to have a personal makeup team, I would have! Thank you all so much again!

MAC Cosmetics thinks they are God’s gift to makeup. The staff at this particular are snotty sand petty. Don’t shop here. But online or at Ulta. Better yet, don’t buy their stuff at all. Subpar products NOT worth the high-end price tag. Just take a sniff of the liquid foundation - it stinks of chemicals galore which is not the case with any other high end brand, or even many drugstore brands. Shop at INGLOT online, prices are a lot cheaper and they have way more selection of colors.

Loved the customer service at this location..... Very rare to find kind or helpful assistance in stores these days.... So to have received both is REFRESHING.. they attend to their customers...Something the retail industry as lost touch with.....I would prefer to spend my money at this location over others ... solely on the customer service....
