I went to donate a $500 dollar OVE tub door. Complete with all parts but no box. They did want to deal with it. So I took it to to Second Use. The inspected it and took it gladly. Worth the 10 minutes drive.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM PICKUP CREW AND MANAGER FOLLOW-UP!My father passed away; he had 10 pieces of very nice solid wood antique furniture and 1 super sturdy large metal office desk. They came to get it and the driver immediately complained it was at my gate instead of in the shoulder of the road(2 feet away.)He then refused to take them because I covered them in a tarp so the dew and weather wouldn't get to it and some odorous house ants climbed on a dresser. He claimed they were termites and the furniture was infested. I showed him they were ants and showed him inside the dressers and desks which were perfectly clean. My father took great care of them. I brushed the tiny, harmless ants off the top of the only piece of furniture that had them, but he refused and left.I then called the manager of south center who facetiously agreed to send them back and said they should have taken them. Obviously patronizing me as he never took my name or information I told him they were worth a good amount of money and I just didn't want to deal with reselling it.I was overly patient and polite despite the unprofessionalism's...Obviously they never returned as promised....I had the pieces appraised for the value of the estate for probate purposes and they were all between 800 and 1600 dollars a piece. They lost out on reselling what would have been upwards of 12,000 dollars because their driver was too lazy to get it and their manager was too unprofessional to be bothered.I ended up just putting them on the road because I don't like to barter with people.Good job Habitat for Humanity... You guys failed in helping your cause that day.I had more valuable items but they're being donated to charities that are more professional now.

This place used to be a lot of fun to go to, but now it’s just over priced. I’ve seen the same items there for months at the same price. Not priced to sell, it’s priced to profit….

I went shopping for a headboard. They have a good selection of bookcases and home repair items. There are also building supplies.

Their website makes shopping easy. You never know what you will find. Saves money & time. Just make sure you can pick your treasure up within the 3 day window they require everything to be claimed by. Friendly & helpful.

Had a nice jalousie window to drop off but Tukwil is the worst Habitat for Humanity store. I was told they aren't accepting donations today but they wouldn't offer an explanation. So it's going to Second Use. It's worth the drive fire good customer service.

Habitat for Humanity SouthCenter location was once a joyful place to work but since October 1st 2022 the new manager came on board and completely turn that store upside down. Many people have left that store because of the arrogance, selfishness, lack of communication and dishonest manager to ever manage that store. In the past three weeks of June 2023 four people have left that place because of the manager. I would NOT recommend working at that location unless you want to get written up for no reason, be falsely accused and wrongfully terminated. The manager is lazy, unprofessional, and unfit to be a manager for Habitat for Humanity.

I’ve been shopping at this location for years and the new layout of the store is very inviting and open. Haven’t been in for a few months and the store is extremely clean and well organized! The staff is always friendly and helpful when I have questions or need advice on projects I’m doing and So much cheaper then going to Lowe’s or Home Depot for the same items I can also find at habitat for a fraction of the price!
