From my first call with Dr. Jason, to the care that Dr. Christina provided, I was so impressed with GHCP and have been sharing my experience with everybody I know. Their kind and gentle nature made saying goodbye to my 16-year old Morkie so much easier. I work in hospice (for humans)and I saw so many similarities in how they approach end-of-life. They spent time getting to know Max and my family and made those final moments memorable and peaceful. Thank you!

Dr. Goodwin is truly gentle and kind. He was very patient and helped us with a plan for palliative care. We thought we were out of options for our little terrier but Dr. Goodwin quickly figured out the issue and started pain management right away. Under his care we were able to have a few extra weeks of precious time with our little Phoebe. When it was time to let her go, Dr. Goodwin explained the process and walked us through each step. He took care of everything and was calm and so supportive. I highly recommend GHCP and will definitely be using them again.

After we noticed our beloved senior cat slowly shutting down due to natural aging, with the final end stage now underway, we had to make an incredibly hard decision. We did not want her to get to the point of further suffering, nor did we want her last moments of life to be in a stressful and scary environment of a vet room, so we opted for a home euthanasia service in which she could go peacefully in her own home where she is loved. After hearing about Gentle Hands Cherished Paws online, we contacted them with our beloved cat's best interests in mind.Dr. Christina was incredibly compassionate, kind, and truly cared for our cat. Our cat was given the most tender care in her final moments because of her. We were allowed all of the time we needed to grieve and say our final goodbyes.We will always miss and love our Pixel, but we also feel at peace that she is no longer in any pain or suffering and that we were given the absolute best personalized care. Pixel deserved the absolute best, and she was given exactly that.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Dr Jason helped me take care of my much-loved dog Freyja for a couple of years, as I wanted overall palliative care and he was able to come to my house for appointments (which was wonderful as my regular vet had to do drop off appointments for so long and I hated leaving her). When he came on the day she was to be euthanized, she was familiar with him and he was with her, which was so nice. He was empathic, caring for me and for her- explained everything as it was going to happen, what might occur during the process (just so there were no surprises), and then followed through and explained as he went. I am sure she went calmly, peacefully and without pain, and that is all we can ask for during the heartbreak of it all. I 100% recommend him for when you need palliative care and end of life care for your beloved pets. and F-CK CANCER.

This is such a hard time for us humans and Dr Goodwin treated our Oscar and his large extended family with loving kindness. I highly recommend Gentle Hands Cherished Paws.❤️

I highly recommend Gentle Hands, Cherished Paws to anyone who wants to help their pet pass away in the comfort of their own home. I am so glad I was referred to Jason; from the first phone call, Jason was so compassionate and kind, I immediately felt my dog would be in good hands. Jason took the time to explain every part of the process, was patient, calm, and treated my dog with love and tenderness before she passed and after. I am so grateful Jason offers this loving service, and although I hope I don't have to see him for a while, I wouldn't hesitate to call him again. Thank you for taking such loving care of my Jenny.

Dr. Goodwin helped my sweet Rhoda with hospice care and her aftercare. He was kind, compassionate, supportive, and very patient dealing with a very anxious cat momma. After Rhoda died, I assumed she would be picked up and carried out in a regular pet carrier, but Dr. Goodwin left with her wrapped and covered in soft blankets and placed in a wicker basket. It was such a sweet and more compassionate departure for my sweet kitten. If you decide to do hospice care for your pet (or any at-home vet care/aftercare), please consider hiring Gentle Hands Cherished Paws. Not only will you improve the comfort of your pet, but you also get the support you need as the care giver.

We set up a date to help our dog over the rainbow bridge a few weeks ahead of time so that ALL of our family could be there. My dog was not just a pet; he was my working K9 for 10 years so our bond was more than that of a pet/owner. We were best friends and working partners, and he was a hero. Dr. Goodwin handled our little man with the utmost respect and care. He explained EVERYTHING that he did and let us know what to expect well in advance. Afterwards, he handled our boy with honor as he removed him from our home for aquamation. I would HIGHLY recommend him and his company for this service. His actions were appreciated by all who were there.

I cannot recommend Jason's team at Gentle Hands Cherished Paws enough. Miss Pepper is almost 23 years old and doesn't tolerate visiting her vet as much, and Gentle Hands has been a lifesaver for keeping her stress levels down with home visits. Both Jason and Jacob have been to our home a few times to do full checks on Pepper, prescribe medication, and offer advice and next steps regarding her laundry list of ailments. I have been especially appreciate of their team being able to come out last minute when needed.I know when that difficult day comes, our family will be taken care of with Gentle Hands. The compassion, kindness, and understanding from their team radiates through; it's not easy having a super senior pet, and they have been instrumental in helping me navigate this road. If you have ever considered at home hospice/palliative care for your fur child, it's 1000% the way to go, especially with Gentle Hands.Edited to add: Jason did the most incredible job with Pepper when it was time for the big sleep. It was the most difficult decision I've ever had to make in my life, but I know we did the right thing. The fur clipping and paw print were such a thoughtful touch. I love you as big as the universe Pepper, and I miss you so much.

My family was so grateful to have found Dr Jason Goodwin. Having to say your final goodbye’s to a beloved pet is hard, but Jason makes it as comfortable as possible. He was very informative about what to expect during each step of the process, and was very respectful of us and our cat. I would highly recommend Gentle Hands Cherished Paws to a friend or family member.

The first thing that was said to me was "I'm so sorry you have to make this call." We were respected, comforted, and cared for from start to finish. We were educated on the process and what to expect. Guts of steel and truly compassionate hearts are required for this kind of work. Dr Jason has the perfect mix of both.

Dr Christina is the most gentle and compassionate person. Just incredible. She explained everything including to my 6 year old son and was a calming presence to our family on a dark day. I am so grateful she was able to help Dexter. Gentle hands came with less than 24 hours notice and the first thing Dr Jason said on the phone was "I am so sorry you're calling me." The compassion and care our family received was so comforting. Thank you for being here.

Although I did not end up using Dr. Jason's service due to scheduling challenges, I was very impressed with his kindness! He even called back to make sure I had found the help I was looking for. That's the kind of compassion you need when your looking for help.
