A disappointing stay at a very easily accessible Marriott Courtyard.
Located not too far from SeaTac, this Marriott is located within walking distance to the mall nearby, with plenty of drinking and dining options.
Definitely an older hotel. Zero soundproofing for rooms facing the road, and that goes for sound between rooms too. Constant sound of very loud road noise from passing vehicles. Especially when rainy. Woke up at 1am one night from the guy in the next room over coughing. Like I could literally hear him breathing.
Approached the front desk for a room switch, but they informed me they didn’t have any. Also the hallway temperatures are kept somewhere in low to mid 50s. Which is absolutely frigid.
My room did have an openable balcony, with no balcony furniture. There was evidence of ceiling damage in the bathroom from some discoloration (pictured).
A google review of the pond across the street says there’s a bunch of homeless in that area, but I didn’t encounter any. Some drifters maybe, but no encampments. Felt safe. Security on patrol for the parking lot helps.
What I loved: very reasonable rates. The room was clean. Affordable parking fee ($8) and they have parking lot security patrolling at night. Nice shower and room heat was great.
What can be improved: See everything above.
Would I stay again: not if I can avoid it.

3 cars (that I know of) were broken into last night. The maintenance crew at the hotel were great about vacuuming the broken glass and taping up the window. They shared that this happens almost every night. The hotel's response to this situation is to hang signs on every post saying they are not liable rather than put up even a single camera and lighting. Never stay here!

Room comfortable and clean. Bed comfortable, bathroom spacious. Coffee simple to make and decent for a hotel room. Only drawback was the air conditioner -- room was freezing, and the a/c was unresponsive to the control panel (unable to shut off or adjust temperature).

Best avoided. So under staffed they can't serve food or drinks.

I booked this hotel after my red eye flight delayed till the morning on the phone with Marriott customer service. I specifically asked for a hotel that had a shuttle that could come pick me up and when I called the hotel for the shuttle, I was informed it stopped running at midnight. OK, so $30 uber ride later, I'm exhausted and the late night desk is rude. The airport shuttle only runs once an hour and the breakfast I was told was free by the check in guy is not free and costs $20 instead. I have a $0 room bill otherwise, but the pending $50 incidental charge goes through and the hotel refunded it after I called to inquire (but not the breakfast charge). And now a few weeks later I'm charged the same $50 incidentals amount again! What is wrong with this hotel?! Be aware, they might try to scam you too.

We got stuck in Seattle for a night and luckily booked a room here. The staff were awesome and arranged for a ride from airport after midnight. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the aesthetic is stunning. After a very long journey the bed felt like home. Nice firm mattress made for a great night sleep. We travel a lot and I appreciate a clean, well maintained property.

It is close to the mall with lots of eateries close by within walking distance. Target is also close by.
The website shows a pool but there is no pool. Abit disappointing as I had booked it for that reason due to travel with the children.
All in all a good location. Also close to the highways.

I recently stayed here for 3 nights, and I am incredibly pleased with this hotel.
The hotel is located in an area with tons of restaurants and things to do in walking distance (even a target!). My room was super clean (seriously spotless!), the bed was big and comfortable, AC worked great, room was very quiet, shower worked great….I even had my own patio with a screen door! Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and just overall made me feel very welcome.
The only issue I had during my entire stay (but was not a big enough deal to affect my 5 star rating!) was that the hotel could definitely use a new washer and dryer. The one dryer costs $4 a cycle (which would bring a single load of laundry $8 to wash and dry!), and the one that costs $1 doesn’t dry well (I had to run 2 cycles to get my load dry). The length of time it took to dry my clothes was inevitably caused by the buildup of lint in the trap (fire hazard, y’all. You should fix that ASAP, and check your vent for lint buildup!!), which is further exacerbated by the broken lint trap filter.
Overall, fantastic stay!

Beautiful place and all the girls at the front desk are great. Heads up to Grace, she helped me out a lot. While it's not close to downtown it is close to many stores and restaurants in walking distance.
