The beds are really comfortable and the staff is great. The food in the restaurant is really good too.

This was last weekend that my dad, sister and I stayed over for one night only. We got there fairly late, around 730pm and we were hungry and planned on eating at the bar/lounge in the hotel but unfortunately they were already starting to close, had already closed down the kitchen, so no hot food. But we were just fine and had no problem with this because the bartender was so sweet and kind and helpful. Besides, it wasn't her fault at all. The night time bartender AND the night cook both had called out from work leaving only the one day time bartender(who had already worked the night before and then this morning and was called back to work to close that day). What a trooper she was! I wish I could remember her name so I could give her proper credit.Anyhow, she's was just lovely and we sure did appreciate what she was able to do for us which was serving us a great beer so we could decide where we wanted to go eat. She was also so helpful with informing us on what's good and where it all was.And now onto the hotel room... It was great!! Super clean and spacious with all the amenities needed and cute little balcony with a lovely view. Then breakfast was absolutely incredible! My only complaint about the entire stay is that they ran out of orange juice before I could get some for breakfast.So overall, absolutely worth it, 5 stars outta 5!I highly recommend staying here!Thank you to all the hotel staff who helped us in any way. We are grateful??.Nearby activities: There's bowling, the movie theater, the mall , some small park areasWalkability: You can literally walk to all the places I've mentioned within 10 mins!Food & drinks: Such a great and wide variety. Had a hard time deciding because they all sounded so good.

Zero starsI had to stay here for a surgery I had in Seattle. They charge guests 5 dollars a day for internet, 15 dollars a day for parking please make it make sense! the rooms are underwhelming no drawers to put clothing in. I was here for 5 days , no tub standing shower only. Water pressure was horrible. I've had better experiences at budget motels where I can park free have a relaxing bath, free breakfast, and enjoy free internet. Will not be back amd do not reccomend. Marriott do better . Responding to owner comment about our choice to use upgraded internet. Your guests have no choice but to use the charged internet service, as the free guest wifi is horrible and kicks you off in the middle of meetings, and calls . You should do better by your guests. It's a scam from check in to check out. If you provided a decent experience youd GET a decent review. You charge your guests for internet daily and you charge your guests to use your hotel parking lot. BOO! AS A PAYING GUEST I EXPECT FREE INTERNET THAT ACTUALLY DOES WHAT ITS SUPPOSED TO I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY YOU MORE MONEY FOR A DECENTSTANDARD SERVICE CONNECTION AS A GUEST ITS HARDLY A BIG ASK TO PARK YOUR VEHICLE IN HOTEL LOT WITHOUT EXTRA FEES.

Due to a flight cancellation, I had to stay at this hotel to make my early morning rebooking.The staff seamlessly accommodated my last minute arrival, and the amenities at this hotel are very good. The hotel is very clean, and located a few minutes from the Seattle-Tacoma Airport. I had a great stay.

Dear Sir/Madam,I am a lady of 85 summers, with a long life of experiences behind me, yet I am greatly disheartened to write this review. I was visiting my dear grandchildren and I had decided to book a stay at Courtyard by Marriott, hoping for a peaceful and comfortable time; alas, it was far from it.The condition of the rooms was hugely disappointing. Not one to usually complain, but this felt like a lodging far from the quality I expected - the bed was uncomfortable, the linens seemed uncared for, and the cleanliness was questionable at best.Yet, what truly disturbed my peace was the unseemly conduct of your staff, especially a red-haired lady at the front desk. Being of a respectful age, I expected and was accustomed to a higher level of courteous interaction. The lady in question, however, shot down my expectations with her abruptness and rudeness. It was truly a shocking experience to be treated with such disdain.To top it off, there was this disappointing revelation of hidden costs when I found out that the 'free parking' I had been expecting was costing me an extra $20 per night. The whole visit was filled with unpleasant surprises - truly not the way I had imagined my stay to go.A lifetime of experiences has taught me one thing - respect and kindness are the key drivers in any interaction, more so in the service sector. The behavior of your staff, in this case, falls far short of any acceptable customer service standards.Friends and family had recommended your establishment, but I feel deceived and thoroughly unsatisfied. The treatment I received and the service in general has made me seriously question my future patronage with Courtyard. Please do look into these serious issues and perhaps reevaluating your staff training programs. I do hope nobody else has to face such an unpleasant experience.With due regard,An extremely disappointed grandmother.

As a family visiting the Courtyard by Marriott, our encounter with an extremely insolent staff member stationed at the front desk has urged us to pen down this review. This woman, characterized by her red hair, felt no hesitation in exhibiting complete disregard towards the basic norms of decency and professionalism that one should uphold, especially in the service industry.The moment we approached her to check-in, her demeanor was distinctively curt, bordering on rudeness. Our innocent queries were met with snappy retorts which were not only unnecessary but also offensive. Conducting herself in such an abrasive manner, she managed to cast a gloomy shadow over our holiday spirit.Our children were with us, witnessing this unpleasant display of disrespect, which made us uncomfortable. We believe that such an environment won't be conducive or pleasant for young minds.Moreover, the claim of free parking was a farce. Upon arriving, we were slapped with a $20 nightly parking fee. This sort of misleading information is quite unfortunate and unbecoming for an institution as reputed as Courtyard by Marriott.Based on our experiences, our plea is to reevaluate this individual's position. She is in a role that interfaces with guests directly, thereby setting their impression of your establishment. Her rudeness was not only off-putting but also tarnishes the image and reputation of your hotel. We genuinely hope no other guest experiences such an ordeal.We are rethinking our association with the Courtyard establishments considering this dismal experience. If urgent actions are not initiated in this regard, we are afraid there will be a significant drop in your patron base. Please take our complaint into serious consideration for the betterment of your establishment.

Your tab ? “I paid before going to restroom because I was so embarrassed and yeah ….I just became a Marriott club thing and 5 star review for AC waterfront in Portland???♂️

Rooms were good, beds were nice. Staff was hit or miss. Decent breakfast. Gym and Pool were great. You can hear the train that runs frequently if you are facing the back area of the hotel.
