Quiet campground on the Toutle River. An overnight visit for us. On the way to Mt. St. Helen NP. The Johnson Ridge Visitor Center is currently closed due to a landslide.

This is a wonderful little campground down on the Toutle River. We've been two years in a row and it never crowded. This year we booked two weeks before we went for the weekend with no issues. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it has vault toilets and no showers.

Lovely small RV and tent park. Sites for RV with water and electric. Playgrounds for children. Shelter for family gatherings with BBQ facilities. If you want to make a reservation do it five days in advance. You can also FCFS.

Nice playground for toddlers and small children. Water along the river bank was shallow enough to splash in the day we were there.
