This is what you would expect from your average motel. The owner was nice enough, and gave helpful tips about the surrounding businesses.

My wife called (10-10-23) to reserve a room for (10-14-23) We live in Moses Lake and went up there to go hunting for opening weekend. I called Friday night to verify check in time, that we wouldn’t be to the hotel until after dark. He said that’s fine no big deal. We show up to check in and grab the key, he had no information on us, does not remember talking to me or my wife. He’s an older guy, old school attitude as well. No apologies, nothing. LUCKILY he had one room left.. but I politely stressed the fact that we live almost 3 hours away and very thankful that he had a room for us. The rooms smell clean I’ll give it that, but stained floors, stained sheets, very noisy. At the end of the day I gave it 1 star due to having a place for my family to rest for the night…. But that place severely needs updated. Sadly, We definitely won’t be back…

I came to town with 3 other soldiers as part of a Funeral Honor Guard for a Funeral scheduled for Saturday 7/26/23. It was for a local soldier (also a volunteer Wildland firefighting force) who had passed away unexpectedly a few weeks earlier. I called a few weeks in advance to check availability and reserve a few rooms. The owner was very friendly and asked what was bringing us to town, and when I explained to him why, he advised me that he also had been a soldier many years ago and wanted to support us and the family. He gave us their larges suite along with a roll out bed that slept us all comfortably. I thanked him and asked him how much it would be, and he told us "absolutely Nothing". He refused to accept any money for our room. The owner, like many other people in the town of Tonasket, WA are very friendly, fiercely patriotic, and are the epitome of small town hospitality. We are very grateful for such a kind gesture. The room was clean, and the beds were VERY comfortable and I loved the quiet, small town vibe. Thank you so much for your Support, Red Apple INN!!!!

The owner Chris is a great host! You can tell he's from New York because he makes you feel just like family. This place is the best value around! The prices per room are half the price of anywhere else!!! The rooms are very clean and the staff is professional and hard working. If you are passing through Tonasket this is the only hotel you will want to stay in.

I stayed at the Red Apple and had a great stay. I was there for 2 nights and both nights were great. The room was very warm, (end of January, temp was 18 degrees in town) had many channels on the tv and was located right off the main road in Tonasket. The manager Chris was very friendly and told me about the area. When I go back North I will stay here again. It is very reasonably priced, parking right in front of the unit and has in room coffee, microwave and a mini fridge. It was very clean also.

Basic room, a reasonably low price but was in need of many repairs and updating. Check in and advice of the area was good. Bed was comfortable, coffee maker did not work and Wi-Fi very slow.

The person who runs this place with was very rude and crude. I overslept and he continously banged on the door when I was taking shower and changing. No wonder I was one of the 5 (rough guess) people staying at the motel. I would have stayed there again If it wasnt for the bad experience. I drove 20 miles south to Omak to stay the next night.

I should have known when I drove up and saw the ghastly dark brown curtains (hideous) on all of the windows and the horrible paint color of the entire place - not to mention the dead weeds in the flower boxes. We have stayed at this charming little place over the years - but didn't realize just how long ago that was. Starting with the owner (I guess that's who he was - he was watching TV in the room off the front desk when we came in) - totally strange. If you can be annoying and weird at the same time - he is it. And sarcastic and a bit rude as well. We should have stayed in Omak - I wish we would have. The sink in the bathroom would not drain (well after five + minutes it did). Try using a sink that won't drain - we skipped the shower all together when that happened. The a/c was limping along - wouldn't want to test it on a real hot day. No carafe for the so-called coffee. TV was a joke - little channels available. Bed somewhat ok. The room was clean - just. It is such a depressing place outside - no effort at all. You could stay at the other motel in town - we did one year. It was filthy (but decorated real cute:) . . . . Do yourself a favor - drive on to Omak.

We stayed at the red apple inn while passing through town. They got us in last minute which was great. the front desk person was arguing with the couple before us in line and then was rude to my husband. We got to our room and it was very old, smelt of mildew, and was not very clean. I didn't sleep well because I was worried the bedding was unclean. I would not recommend going there but for the low price of $60 for the room you definitely get what you pay for.

the motel advertises free wifi, flat screen tv, microwave, and refrigerator. The fridge and micro work, bug the tv allows only about 8 channels to be viewed free snd during the 3 nights we stayed there the wifi did not work at all. the air conditioner was not effective with the 100 degree daytime temps and the room was at about 80 to 84 until after about midnight when the sir conditioner was able to cool the room. the shower has rust stains and the floor in the bathroom had ground in dirt- but not all was ground in because when i wiped z used towel across the floor it came up dirty. if u are handicapped don't take a regular room because the toilet is positioned in a manner not allowing u to hold on to anything to help u sit down or get up. be sure to bring your own soap and shampoo. the soap is a sliver- literally snd the shampoo must be liquid hand soap and strips your hair of moisture. shower stream is weak. towels are thread bare. the room looks clean but since we had the same room for three nights i could see they didn't vacuum the floor or clean shower stall. queen bed was nice and firm. grocery is within walking distance. we paid 68.01 per night for three nights in mid july. locals told us the junction was the better place to stay but runs about $80

The owner was very friendly and went out of his way to help us during a difficult time.
