I found this store as I collect model trains from a German company called Märklin and sadly there aren't many places in the United States let alone locally that sell this brand. If you are a Märklin Club Member you can order your yearly wagon here and the owners will work with Märklin to get you anything that is available in the current catalogue. They have gone way above what a hobby shop will do for the customer. If you are buying Märklin please consider giving the What? Shoppe a try and support the local business. They also carry scale kits for a few different scales and many figures. They deserve all your business.

Love this shop! So many cool things. We always find something we just have to buy, and the owner is super friendly. I definitely recommend stopping in there to browse if you're nearby.

Back in the 90's What? Shoppe was my go to place I use to go monthly to. I have been a horror and monster model fan and What? was THE place to get them in Tacoma, as they were the only store at the time to carry vinyl and resin kits. They were the first shop that I ever saw Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise in. The owners are truly wonderful people, and were a joy to chat with as I always came in during the slow part of the day. Glad to see they are still there and the next time I head south from Oak Harbor, I'm going to stop in and say hello.

I was blessed with a young TRex! though he may be small now, he is growing and learning at a voracious rate. I Love This Place! I come here atleast once a month (usually right after pay day) to get model car kits and accessories. They have a great selection of the coolest models. And they not only keep the detail accessories in stock, but will order stuff they don't have. I also like that they sell used and other second hand models for great deals! I can't wait for next payday, I already have my next purchases picked out!
