The pharmacy is terrible the pharmacist and the lady's in the pharmacy have to have cheated their way through school cause they give wrong medications constantly 3 days in a row they gave me someone else's medication and will egg you on till next week then tell you they transferred the medication elsewhere I would not be surprised if the employees were taking the drugs themselves because their brain chemistry is off and Walgreens need an entire new pharmacy staff at this location.

I went out of my way to get my covid booster at this Walgreen's last night because they were listed on the "Bridge access Program" which offers free shots to people without insurance. I had my appointment scheduled ahead of time and was running a bit late but that didn't matter. When I got to the pharmacy counter and they found out I didn't have insurance, one of the pharmacists said "Tell her that'll be $180!" I said "It's supposed to be free." Then I waited for about 10-15 minutes while they "helped" other customers (by shouting out the name of one of their prescriptions, and telling another lady her prescription would cost $300 when it was supposed to cost far less, then telling her it'd take about an hour to resolve the issue!) When the pharmacist finally got back to me, he told me they couldn't give me the vaccine because my records said I already got it 56 days ago. I told them no, that was a FLU shot (I don't know what records they had). He asked me to give proof of the last shot I got but I didn't have that on me and by that time I was feeling pretty uncomfortable about getting a shot at that pharmacy anyway. So I told them I'd get the shot elsewhere and left. I do not recommend this pharmacy for prescriptions or vaccines!

What on earth is the point of making an appointment for the flu shot if I have to wait over an hour!

I was out of town and my kids got sick. This Walgreens was a lifesaver. They had all the cold medicine to make my kids feel better. It was very clean inside. They have holiday or seasonal items in the middle of the store.Employee was very friendly and helpful at the checkout.Plenty of parking.

Horrible experience with this pharmacy. After weeks of issues with another local branch, I called this one and asked if they had the ability to fill my prescriptions quickly and mail them out. I was told they could. The meds took an extra two days to be filled. I ordered a FedEx delivery because I'm disabled and have no car, and 5 days later, they STILL hadn't been picked up but I'd been charged for them because the label was created.I called and was on hold 40 minutes then was promised by a tech that they'd be picked up the next business day. They weren't. I called again and was on hold for over an HOUR. The tech said they were still sitting in a bag, not picked up, and they didn't know why FedEx never got them. At this point, it was over a week since I first requested they take over these meds from the other branch and 5 since ordering delivery.I told them to cancel it. It's lucky I didn't need these urgently, but at this point I do, and every Tacoma Walgreens seems to be extremely backed up and short staffed. Trying to call other branches says similar "more than 3 callers ahead of you" hold messages. Which isn't the staff's fault, but they keep making me promises they can't/don't keep and being rude about the delays like it's my fault or I'm being demanding when I just want my meds and it's been literally weeks and two different stores. So I will keep looking for a different branch or another chain because this has been a nightmare and hours on the phone for a few standard meds I STILL don't have.

I did a quick stop by to buy some snacks. I have to say this store is in a such cute location & the employees are so nice and helpful! Jacob the store manager was very polite & helped me find the product I was looking for. I highly recommend you check out this Walgreens in pearl St!

The guy on the phone in the pharmacy was condescending and and confrontational. He was LESS than helpful. Like I was putting him out and "can't help you.". Serves me right for calling a Tacoma Walgreens. Never again.

Horrible pharmacy. I waited over 6 hours for a pain medication to be filled. They had one pharmacist and he was busy doing vaccinations. I will never use this pharmacy again

This store is seriously under staffed. Service is slow and the phone wait times are horrible and while in the store no one is on the phone

Thank you Elizabeth and pharmacy team for saving the day and getting me my medication timely. Very professional and kind team, went above and beyond after CVS Lakewood made many mistakes and caused delays. Go here and stay far away from CVS Lakewood.

Warning! The pharmacist here caused myself & my provider extensive problems getting my RX's filled. Multiple times. I don't remember the pharmacists name but it was a man in his 50's-60's w/darker skin. He simply couldn't keep up w/the conversation. He'd avoid answering questions. He also told us my RX's could definitely be picked up in two hours. I triple checked this w/him. I then drove two hours to get there (& this pharmacist knew that ahead of time). When I arrived he said I had to come back a week later! I called a week later to confirm my RX could be picked up when he'd said again. The following day. This time he said the pharmacy was closed that day.

I went in today to purchase several items, but none of the sale tags were up for any of the items that I was shopping for. I thought they were no longer on sale. I did not purchase due to confusion. I did end up finding something that I wanted to purchase (even though it was not what I went in for originally), but after waiting around 10 minutes in a long line, I was told by the cashier that the sales tags that were up weren't working because they were for tomorrow. This was around 5:30pm. I am not sure why they would take this week's price tags down and put the price tags for next week up, and not honor the price that was advertised on the shelf at the time of purchase. I ended up purchasing them anyway because I did not want to hold the long line of people up who were also waiting for a single cashier to ring them up. Not happy.

Walgreens on 3540 North Pearl Street do not accept Apple Health do you know how many people are on Apple Health in Washington state how dare you not accept that so you're just excluding a whole group of people and there is many people that live over here on this side of town that have Apple health for insurance what a horrible thing for you to do you should be ashamed of yourself. If I didn't have to use you for my prescriptions I wouldn't and I would never recommend anybody to get the prescriptions there.

Really slow, service is sometimes nonexistent. The automated phone system sucks, even by normal standards, and it frequently hangs up on you. They do fill prescriptions and don’t seem to screw that up much.
