I have had my two year old here for a year now, and have felt that she is safe and well cared for. Her teacher in the Waddler classroom was fantastic, and her teachers in the Toddler classroom are kind and loving. The director and co-directors have always been up front about staffing and expectations when they were short staffed earlier in the year. It is clear to me they have always done the best that they could.I was impressed with how much my daughter learned, and that they are able to get 14 two year olds to sit for a meal!It was extremely difficult for me to trust a new daycare with my only child, but this place, and the teachers in it, kept her safe, happy, and healthy while I worked. After reading some of the negative reviews, I felt compelled to write about our own, more positive, experience.

Worst ever! The communication between the director and Assistant director was horrible. When I first did a walk thru I explained the difficulties I was having with other day cares with my son to Dorthy. My son was having trouble with listening and controlling his temper. Which she understood, and accepted his challenges. As the time went by. I took their advice. I went to a doctor for help. Which the doctor sent me to a specialist. I had taken to him to get evaluated thru the "Child Fun". I even had a psychologist go to there day care to see what she can see what the day care was seeing. The psychologist said directly to me " He is a typical boy with a lot of energy." When i had told Dorthy that the psychologist had said that. She was in disbelief. Every time i had walked thru those doors. It was ALWAYS such a negative comment. I've told them many of times. Try saying something positive to say about my child. They made my son look like such a horrible child. 25-30 kids in a class room with 2 teachers, and 14 beds. Also always short staffed. I've probably had to miss 4-5 days of work within a week, because of it. Wow! Having to put my child next to the exit door to the play area outside is UNSAFE! I had asked a teacher there "Where are you putting my child down for nap time?" She said, and pointed directly next to the door. Also told me the reason why they were putting him there was because he was playing with the toys. Wellduh! remove the toys from the shelf for the time being. What really made me upset is. They were trying to find a way to get rid of my child. Yes! he was a challenge. You accepted it! and it shows that your staff can not handle or have the patience for these kids. The kids are bored there. They need more activities. Almost 3 hour naps are crazy. 15-20 minute outside play time is crazy. My son NEVER came home happy. The teachers never interact with the kids. They sit down, and yell at them from a distance. I've heard NOTHING but bad things about this place, and i really hope no one ever takes them here. There corporate offices runs just as bad as they do. I've called a few times, and was told I would get a phone call, and never did. Poor facility.

Extremely poorly-run center that does NOT have enough resources to accommodate the amount of children they try to serve. The center director is never on the premises-- and when she is, she is locked in her office. Miss Moe does not spend any time in classrooms or with any of the children in her care.Really unfortunately, Alicia Moe is not an experienced or appropriate center director, and she has failed to train and maintain new teachers and failed to support her center's students. Twenty children in one classroom, and only fourteen beds for naptime is just one recurring issue of a dozen I faced while teaching here. I have also witnessed teachers slap students' hands and use strong, negative language about behavior, particularly potty training accidents. From an employment perspective, i was made aware on day one that Miss Moe would likely never be available if even present.April 10th Update: Alicia Moe is withholding wages. This center has been reported to the Department of Labor.

Place is bad my son goes here and I hear nothing about what goes on with hand food and mouth Covid fevers ect and teachers being under paid at $15-$16 willing to get sick all the time, seems about right. Tf. I would not take My kids here. Teachers are amazing but upper management sucks ass

The center staff is so friendly and love my kids, but the location isn't the best. UP is nice but this center is on a busy road with little protection against potential car accidents. My kids love their classes and never want to go home when I pick up. Staff is courteous and responsive to messages. The center layout is a little strange, with cubicle style rooms for the older kids but they manage the chaos well!

We love it here! My daughter is well taken care of. She loves her teachers and is always in a great mood coming home. They update you on the app all day. It brightens my days when I get photos of my daughter while I'm at work or running errands. Staff is super friendly to me when I come in and make a point to remember things about me.

January 2022 by Steve R.
I wish I could write a glowing review of this place, but sadly they have continued to fail my family and I time after time. We started our search for a potential childcare location back in the summer of 2021 when we were expecting. With our baby not due until October this gave us ample time to find a location, tour it, and make a decision about our child's future. From the beginning this location lacked follow-up and communication. Numerous times I had to call the director Chelsea to follow up on a potential tour. I was told that due to COVID they were not scheduling them, and that they would follow up. They never did. I tried to inquire about pricing and was told that their pay structure changes around September each year so they would let me know what the new amount for 2022 was. They never did. I assume that looking back, these should have been red flags and I should have continued my search elsewhere. Speed up to November of 2021, and I call back again inquiring about price point and a tour. I was then greeted by Alicia who was filling in for Chelsea. Alicia stated that the tour scheduling was tough since they only showed once a week but was able to get me on the books for a tour in January. Since our child was due to enroll in February this was acceptable so I booked it. During this same call I was informed that there had been some earlier openings and that if we wanted our child could enroll prior to February and that Alicia would accommodate a sooner tour if needed. Being that my wife still had her leave scheduled through January I declined the earlier date and kept the January tour. Now we arrive to January 2022 and more importantly our tour date. My wife and I gather our belongings, pack up our child, and head to the center. Those who have a newborn know the challenges you face just trying to get out of the house on time. We arrived about 10 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time (5:50 pm). Due to their still being kids present at the center I gave a call to let them know that we had arrived and would be waiting outside for them when they were ready. Melissa was the one who had answered and immediately gave me an, "Oh, no!". Melissa then informed me that Alicia had "tried to email" me and that I must not have known that she had to leave due to her own child being sick. No worries here, I get it stuff happens, but the follow up again was poor. I triple checked my email, checked my spam folder, nothing. Email is a pretty simple feature to use. You either do or you do not email someone. There really isn't a try in this instance. Also, if you don't have the time and have to run, delegate and have someone else from the center contact me. Its really that simple. Frustrated, my wife and I left acknowledging again another misstep by the center and vowing to contact them back on Monday to see what happened and "hopefully" get another tour scheduled. The following Monday, my wife this time, reached out to the center. Alicia was still out so my wife was informed that they would look into seeing what the schedule could look like and contact us back. Tuesday comes, and with no contact yet, February fast approaching, and decisions needing to be made, my wife contacted the center again and spoke with Melissa. Alicia was still out, hopefully she feels better soon, but Melissa stated that Alicia had informed them that they could schedule us for January 28th. This was not acceptable. We had been trying to schedule a tour since July and now you are telling me we can view the center three days before you want $1600+ dollars from us? Melissa then stated she would take on the tour and asked that we come in this coming Friday for a tour. Awesome, looks like finally there was a solution oriented employee at this center. Unfortunately, less than an hour later, Melissa contacted us back and canceled the tour. During this call she also informed us that Alicia had informed her that due to COVID and "staffing issues" they could no longer accommodate our February start date and would n

My son has been enrolled in this childcare since he was six weeks old and kindercare is a second home for him. He loves everyone in the center and talks about his teachers that have been there since he was little all the time. He loves his Ms. Sam, Ms. Melissa and Ms. Pam. Assistant director Ms.Alicia always helps me with all of my concerns when it comes to my child. I’m at forever grateful for all the teachers there and director Chelsy.

I loved it at first, but the center started having staffing issues. They would cancel care for my son last minute and then I wouldnt be able to go to work. In the month of July, I received last minute "we have reached full capacity" a total of two weeks out of the month. I pay full price each month and they neglected to care about giving me a refund for the dates they were unable to provide service. Very inconvenient. also, my toddler came home with multiple bite marks on him several times. I emailed the director of my concern and never received a response .

Loved it at first then the past few months been getting a reached capacity. Workers call out all the time & it seems like no one cares that it effects a lot of people I am trying to finish college and because of them I haven't been able to go to school some days and I'm falling behind because of not being able to take my son to daycare which I pay for every month, I don't recommend

If I could rate this center a 0 I would. My son has been going to this center for over a year. There was a time frame where my wife and I loved this center. There was always open communication and the director was always available when we had any questions. With the new management... IT IS AWFUL!! Chelsy, the new director is almost NEVER at the center or available to address concerns of our child's well being. He came home on multiple occasions with bites on his body (no call home, no incident report- NOTHING). He has also come home with crusted noses and poop dried to his butt, which means he wasn't being changed. When we would bring these concerns up to who we assume is management, they would say Chelsy was unavailable and to email her. We would email and still no response for days. I shouldn't have to email for a valid concern of the safety of my child!!! If we have concerns about our child and the care he is receiving it should be addressed asap!!! How can you be in management and never at the center? Whoever put her in charge needs to rethink their strategies as you will lose more families than just us. This center "reaches capacity" almost every single day and turns paying families away. How is this even a thing?? We pay full price and still turned away and when asked for a refund- we receive a message saying that we will not be refunded for the days they did not have staffing. They give no notice of this either, just a message saying they are at capacity (when we are already on the way). This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL daycare! I would advise you to look elsewhere if you would like a safe and communicative environment as you will not receive it at this location. Chelsy should be ashamed of the care she is providing for families and children. We have pulled our son and will never look back!!!!

My son has been in KinderCare since he was an infant. He's been at this location for almost 3 years. I don't know what I'd do without KinderCare!!! My son absolutely LOVES going to school every day. It's to the point he almost cries when it's time to go home (I try not to take it personally haha). He has learned so much in his time with them. When he was in Discovery Preschool, Ms. Laura was so patient and kind and you can tell she genuinely cared about every child in her classroom. She single handedly potty trained my child. He was officially in underwear and no accidents by his 3rd birthday! He's since moved up to the preschool class with Ms.Katie, whom he adores. I am literally blown away with how much he's learning and how soon. He can spell his whole name. He comes home naming objects and colors in Spanish. He's even taught me things he's learned from different types of clouds to dinosaur names. My son can be quite moody at times, like most 4 year olds (I hope lol), and Ms.Katie has even helped teach him some social and emotional skills. The Mother's Day gift my son made for me at school melted my heart. I love the app and being able to have a glimpse into what his day is like. From what he's eating to the curriculum he's learning. The center is so colorful, warm and inviting. There have been some changes in management. Chelsy is the center director and Danielle was there while Chelsy was on maternity leave. Both have been great! I'm easily able to communicate with them via the app and they are sure to keep us informed. Unfortunately, due to covid related incidents, the center has had to close a couple times. Which can be difficult, but overall I'm just glad they're taking the right precautions during this crazy covid time! I'd rather have everyone safe and healthy. They greet families at the door, where every child and staff member check their temperatures and go through the wellness screening station before entry. Anytime I've had billing issues or any concerns for that matter, they are quick to resolve them and make things right. I just can't say enough positive things about this center. It will be a bittersweet day next year when my child will leave Kindercare to start public school.
