Very poor management. Lazy and rude. I had to leave due to domestic violence and they still let my charges go to collections now I owe $5,000 in dept they didnt give me any time to give them the police report that I do currently have. My rent would always go up from $1595 to $1895 my rent was always paid. Apartment was dirty when I moved in, lots of spiders and flies carpet and countertops were dusty and dirty. Asian maintenance guy there is also rude. Very inconsiderate people. I would never live here again! Very unexceptional! I am currently homeless because of this dept!!! At the same time grieving and healing from this.

If I could give zero stars to this place, I would. I don’t recommend these apartments to ANYONE! Don’t let their online photos fool you. When you move in, it will look nothing like the online photos they posted. First and most importantly MANAGEMENT is a joke! Your complaints fall on deaf ears. There is trash everywhere. We catch a mouse at least once or twice a month. Our neighbors throw trash off their balcony as well as cigarettes, toys, food, etc. They place music, LOUDLY sometimes until 1 or 2am. I complain to the office, nothing happens. I’ve been dealing with the trash & noise for months. You call apartment security like the tell you to, THEY DON’T COME. Repairs don’t get done, and when they door, maintenance leave an absolute mess in your apartment. And its very poorly done. Broken appliances, all they do is pull it from a vacant apartment, good or bad and give it to you. I’ve been dealing with mold behind my toilet for months. They just come and paint over it. Dog poop everywhere you walk. I don’t even bother to go on my patio anymore because all you smell is dog poop. They rarely answer the phones, and when they do all they ever say is, let me look into this and we’ll be in touch. You never hear anything back until you’re calling and complaining again. The office manager is always either out if the office, on a phone call or in a training. You have to make an appointment if you want to go in the office. The only thing they are good at, is sending you multiple emails telling you your rent and utilities are due, and raising the rent. But they somehow can’t seem to respond to your email complaints. This place is horribly managed. I wish I could post all the pictures I have, but I can’t figure out how to do it. I’ve contacted the landlords tenants law and they advised me to document names, dates and times of when I complained and the outcome. You have to have the documentation to support your complaints. The more documentation, the better it supports your claim. You can’t file a complaint without proper documentation to support it. This place needs a complete staffing change. I can’t wait until our lease is up. Take you money somewhere else.

Taylor with the leasing team was so sweet and helpful. They are so busy and inundated with emails but Taylor took the time to help me with what I needed. I Look forward to working with them again :)

Living here is a horrible experience! Vehicles get broken into all the time. The Security team they use is a joke, they sit in their Vehicles for long periods of time w/o patrolling. We have a Security gate that doesn't get used, which could help slow down crime and help keep the homeless from our complex. The property management company changes almost every year. I could keep going, but i think i painted a good enough picture for everyone! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!

I can’t rate the apartments themselves but we went on tours with Tre he brought us to three properties including the lodge and he was great! Not only funny he was very professional answered all our questions quickly and clearly and made us feel very welcome during the tours.

Whatever you do, DO NOT MOVE HERE!
I lived at The Lodge at Madrona from April 2023 — April 2024. It was easily the worst place I have ever lived. The unit that I moved into was on the ground floor, it was dark, dank, and reeked of mildew. Not only that, but my upstairs neighbors were very loud and threw cigarette butts all over my deck and by my front door. Do you want to know what the leasing managers did about this? Practically NOTHING. I was told that they gave my neighbors reminders about the no-smoking policy in the lease, but to no avail. This cigarette problem started in May 2023 and remained an issue up until I moved out. I emailed the managers over a dozen pictures of the cigarettes from my neighbors, with dates, and they never took action. I was paying $1,500+ a month to essentially live in an ashtray. There is trash everywhere at this complex. And the managers simply don’t care.
Not only is The Lodge at Madrona dingy, but they also tack on so many fees! A $78.85 trash fee per month!? Seriously? I don’t even know what this fee goes to, given the fact that trash is carelessly thrown around this place. The dumpster was always overflowing and emitted a putrid smell.
…As if things couldn’t get any worse — the staff is blatantly negligent. In January 2024, my upstairs neighbors had a leak in their unit. Their apartment had been flooded with water and it started to leak down through my kitchen ceiling, resulting in water all over the floor. But that’s not the worst of it. The ceiling had become soft from water damage and the screws holding the ceiling light in place CAME OUT, making the ceiling light fall. Needless to say: this is hazardous. We were told that the maintenance crew would help with the water damage and that never happened. No fans, no water vacuums, nothing was done to prevent the growth of mold in the ceiling (which was inevitable since it was so wet). The leasing managers are dangerously incompetent; leaving their tenants to live in hazardous conditions. I had also reported to them how my dryer wasn’t working properly (one of the amenities featured on their website), and it was never fixed. I also found mold on the bathroom wall that had been there since I moved in.
If you are looking for somewhere to live, look elsewhere. The Lodge at Madrona is no place to call home. Between the cigarettes, trash, presence of mold, and negligent staff, I couldn’t take it anymore and moved out in April 2024. My only regret is not moving out sooner. Please do not give this complex your time or money, the leasing managers only see you as your wallet.

I have lived here for 2 years. All I can say is I am glad I'm moving out! Like many of the reviews stated this place constantly overcharges for utilities especially trash, and my carport fee increased from $50 to $100 without any warning. Complex is dirty, they say they're non smoking but neighbors smoke right outside their door and the smell easily goes to your unit, even in the winter with the windows closed. Half of the cabinets in my kitchen weren't on rails and couldn't open fully because the stove was in the way. Trash is constantly overflowing and parking is very dangerous. My neighbors car got stolen in broad daylight. On top of this all the office is impossible to get ahold of, and now you can't even go into the leasing office without making an appointment. How are you supposed to make an appointment when no one answers your call? Stay away.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The office is nearly impossible to ever get a hold of. During my initial walkthrough I identified several things that needed to be fixed like the bar counter that was loose and the tub lining that was worn away, and broken blinds/screens, and I was assured that they would be done prior to my move in date, in addition to the fact they would be power washing and repainting the porch when the weather cleared. None of this was completed before I moved into the unit, in fact it's been almost 1.5 years and the porch STILL has not been cleaned or repainted as promised.
I was constantly having appliances act up and I would have to spam management with calls and emails for months to get the repairs or replacements done. My dishwasher fully just died last year (it was apparently over 10 years old) and it took me nearly 3 months to get a new one. When the maintenance guy came around he was confused and said the order was new and the dishwasher only took a week to get in once ordered. (I will admit the actual maintenance staff are very nice).
On top of all that I was constantly overcharged for utilities, had fees added to my account with no explanation only to find out it was an error, it took me a week to finally talk to someone that could give me a credit to offset the mischarged fees. Two months in a row I received 5 different "corrected invoices" for the utility costs only to have them make the exact same billing mistake again. To this day I am so confused by all the corrected invoices that I have no idea if I was ever actually accurately charged.
I have sent in my notice to vacate and have been unable to get anyone on the phone or via email to even confirm that they have received it.
I deeply regret that I was in a rush to move when I found this place and wish I had taken the time to read some reviews. I would absolutely caution anyone from renting here.
I'll go even farther and say that after talking to friends that have lived in different complexes it's a bad idea to rent any property that are associated with GRE (Goodman Real Estate) Management.

My actual apartment was great. Management was terrible. Constant changes in the office, constant over charges. I had to keep a close eye on my ledger every month because they would over charge me for parking over charge for trash, one month my trash fees were 60 and the next month they would be 199. Homeless camps in the woods the mailboxes got sprayed with bullets and it took them over a year to replace them. My roommates car got stolen and vandalized twice. Dog poop everywhere like I mean EVERYWHERE. Just not a good living experience. But again my actual apartment was awesome

When I first toured the apartment, I thought my roommate and I had found a good apartment...but soon after we moved in we were proven wrong very fast.
On day 1 that I got the keys, the apartment was not even ready for us to even move into so we had to wait 2 hours for us to even get the keys and start moving things into the apartment. Once we got the keys it was all downhill from there. The moment you walked into the unit it smelled like someone had smoked heavily inside the apartment (which took a lot of febreeze to get rid of eventually). That doesn't even compare to the rest of the things, The ceiling fan was shaking, the bathtubs had leaks, the windows had a diy frosting on it, cigarette burns on counters in the kitchen and bathrooms, we couldn't use the fireplace because there was not even a guard to prevent ashes from flying out, as well as a bunch of the plugs didn't work, and on top of it our porch was vandalized.
We had done our initial inspection and submitted the sheet and someone from the office had actually came out with us on day 2 and apologized to us and said "we shouldn't have rented out the apartment to you this was not move in ready".
We were promised that all of these things were fixed and the only things that ended up getting fixed was the ceiling fan and the bathrooms. The apartment complex said they were going to work with us to get the countertops fixed but scheduled it to fix it without us knowing and so therefore they never got fixed, since they said that would contact us again to get things scheduled as we had pets we had to secure and get out of the apartment for the epoxy to dry. Nothing we were promised got fixed.
Probably around the 2nd week of us living there, I had gotten a notice on my vehicle that it was going to be towed. I emailed management basically stating that I had stolen tabs and replacements were still coming please do not tow my car. I had no email response, called and got voicemail. I'm a busy person especially with medical reasoning I could not be calling until someone picked up because their voicemail box was full. Car was towed despite my efforts of giving the correct information and my roommate went in there to tell them we would not be paying because I had followed correct procedures in notifying my place of living. They had stated that email was not the correct communication and that I should have called, which I did. They also told me to have contacted the towing company vs them instead which made no sense to us because they contract them. Thankfully I got my car no problem without paying the repo fee from the towing company (that is the one good thing literally).
We basically had to adapt to all of the things in the apartment, just to "live". Neither I or my roommate wanted to ever be home and just existed in there because of all the complications.
Sometime around November the apartment flooded from the apartment above, we were not compensated with a temporary unit or hotel for unfit living conditions and were forced to sleep with the loud dehumidifiers blaring for 3 weeks. I personally slept in my car until the equipment was removed from the premises.
At some point the kitchen had started flooding and eventually when maintenance did come out to check the apartment they found black mold growing because apparently it had been leaking for a while, unnoticed.
And the final icing on the cake as we were moving out, I had been cleaning and packing for the last day to move things, the apartment was broken into and 4.5k worth of valuables were stolen.
Don't move here, terrible management, unable to help their tenants especially with documented problems, provided unsafe/unfit living conditions during emergencies, and just a plethora of problems.
