It's Target! I am not a big fan of the new remodel. But the personnel are friendly & helpful & not annoying. Apart from watching thieves walk out the door with carts overflowing & wondering how much more my purchases are marked up because of it. This is why shelves aren't ever fully stocked. I don't feel comfortable here after dark. This store is much better than some of the other stores in the area. I can order something online & pick it up in a reasonable time. Other locations I double the time & my tiny order still isn't ready when I arrive.

It seems like the redesign is done, and it is a horrible illogical mess that makes no sense. What is worse is there is now a virtual wall that divides the store in half that you have to go around to get to the back of the store. The biggest flaw is there is no clear men's section, despite a sign, the men's department is a small little space between women's lingerie and women's swimsuits under a large photo of women in their underwear. It is kind of ridiculous.

No shopping carts, I heard an employee tell another customer that they only had 30 and they were very sorry for the inconvenience. No cart, no shop, no buy. This is the second time in his many weeks that this has happened at this target.

Worst Target I have ever been to. There are always items strewn about on the floor of the isles and over half of the shelves are consistently empty from items being out of stock. Plan on waiting at least 3.5-5 hours for pickup orders, if they are able to find the items. They currently don't have shopping carts available if you want to shop yourself. You can tell the employees are trying their best with what they are given, but working in those conditions must be stressful.

Thank you to take Jake and Susan for the outstanding service. I am a visitor to Washington, and this has been my worst experience at a target. The asset protection personnel was very rude and disrespectful coming at me and my brother in law. We were looking at merchandise behind the exchange counter due to people stealing Pokémon cards. There was another heavier curly hair Hispanic lady with glasses who made a grumble (tsssss) noise at us and laughed. Jake was very professional and should oversee the asset protection manager position.

Target are you ok? We stopped at this location about 2 weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon. The place was dirty, racks and shelves either bare or disorganized. We were looking for a Bluetooth speaker to take with us on a trip and the electronics department or what's left of it was empty. No employees, barely any product. It honestly looked like the store was closing and/or was ransacked.

My family and I stopped by for some odds and ends while visiting Tacoma from out of state. I'm not sure if this store is closing soon or if they have missed multiple shipments of product, but there were so many empty shelves! The layout of the store was also weird- haphazard displays and a large area right in the middle of the store full of boxes furniture. One of the things I have loved about Target nationwide is how aesthetically pleasing the store is-with nice displays of products. But here, everything was still in boxes and dumped into a pile. Very off-putting. Very off-target.

This is the last time I go to this Target for a long time. Rude customer service. Bad customer service. The store is a mess. Missing products. It was so bad. I'm done. Also useless coupons.

Ok. I get it. It's 2022 and people in retail don't care to acknowledge or care about their customers. The customer service I experienced today in their electorates department was honestly bizarre. I came up to the kiosk with 3 people behind the counter. No greeting. No "how may I help you" I had to ask them to unlock their video game so I could purchase. The black guy who helped literally was talking to himself while we walked to that section. He proceeded to talk to himself the whole time unlocking the game. Me and my husband just stared at each other like WTF. He seemed like he was on drugs. Really Target? So sad how low customer service has gotten.

So I wouldn't call myself a Targe-holic but i have been know to come to this store from time to time. Thay have plenty of parking in the complex so if you come on the weekends you will find parking. You just might have to walk a bit further then you would like. They have handicap parking available right up front. ( Though you will find someone in their car using it to wait for whoever they have inside shopping so they don't have to find parking...just rude and there should be someone out there to kick them out of those spots) As you walk in, the customer service will be on your left ( in case you need to return anything or just for help with something ) This is a one stop shop that has a bit of everything. Just not too much variety on any one thing. The women have plenty of selections to choose from as far as clothing. Fellas, we are stuck in the back corner with very little options and everything is all crammed together to make it fit. For the most part I have not had any problems with staff. If fact most of them are super friendly. The trick is to stop them for help. Otherwise they will walk right by you. So be on your toes if you need help. The cashiers work pretty fast and the self checkout moves pretty quickly as well. I do wish that they would have more than 4 self checkout machines though. When it gets busy, that would help speed things up so much more. Just an idea Target lol anyway, if you need a place to shop for a few different things this is a pretty good place overall. Happy shopping.

Bought a jar of pickles from them and wondered why all my groceries smelled like pickle. Juice was leaking from the sides and I guess there's something extra pickling in the jar. It was one of the few jars that was stocked on the bare shelf so i didn't have much choice. I wouldn't advise even walking through the grocery aisle. You never know what other moldy stuff they have hiding in the corners.

I am tired. Just tired. I have ordered using drive-up several times and it's been...okay. However, four times now I have ordered a certain item - app says it's in stock - and they cancel it because it's out of stock. I get it. People buy stuff. Cool. But each time they cancel I don't get a notice of the cancellation for hours. Can you tell me it's cancelled when it's actually canceled? May not sound like a big deal but it matters. And PS - I do find it a little hard to believe that the last 4 times I've tried to order this item, the app says it's in stock and apparently in the two hours it takes to fulfill my order, the items have mysteriously disappeared. Your inventory tracking is obviously a bit off. And another thing - it would be really nice if I could actually get ahold of someone when I call the store!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Answer your phones!

The store is always clean. Feels like it's never fully stocked. I guess everyone wants what I want. The lack of stars on my review however is due to there always being an employee sitting on the ground looking homeless at the front door every time I enter. It just looks trashy and unprofessional. For 15 dollars an hr you'd think they uphold some kind of standard. Updating, because I saw some employee looking homeless smoking cigarettes by the entrance again. It's sad that the Walmart employees look less trashy.

When going to a target I have high expectations because every visit is usually a decent one. However, this is probably one of the worst targets I've been to. The energy in there was not pleasing and when approaching our cashier, "Jill" she told us to back up and was mean mugging us the whole time. It's not that hard to give good customer service.

This is the only Target and major business in the Tacoma area that I have noticed continually has a long line out in stores due to Covid measures and occupancy limits. The manager told me that this location is much bigger than the Lakewood store though the Lakewood store had no line out in stores the same exact night I went. If it's a bigger store you would be able to have more people in it at the same time. I don't understand it they're just being lazy or super extra careful and going by their own rules as far as The occupancy numbers go. It's a huge hassle especially for families and kids or young babies that have to stand out in the cold or rain and wait. They need to review the policies and consider better way to take care of their customers.
