One of the best yoga studios I've been to. Good for all levels and you can still really stretch yourself in the mixed classes. Have been out of practice after post kiddo/+pandemic and now feel much more in my body thanks to their intentional approach.

Went and took 4:30 class on Friday with instructor Megan and she was not good at instructing , did not make new students feel welcomed , did not explain or choose to explain how the classroom props should have been used during class . She was not welcoming at all , kept looking at her phone during class . Any person who walks into a yoga class should fell welcomed , feel good energy from the other members and teacher and have an instructor who know's what they are doing and how to instruct and lead .

I really enjoy taking class at Tuladhara - Its apparent that a lot of intention has gone into the space itself. All of the teachers and staff have always been kind, welcoming and inclusive. Glad to call this space my home studio!

Alicia is not professional at all. Be careful with your money they can easily decline any refund

I have only taken a handful of classes here over the years. It’s not my vibe. I prefer hot yoga, but really the space itself, is what I don’t love. It’s a great location, but the old house, is literally that. You can hear all the noises from the street, the restaurant upstairs, the squeaky door to the restroom, and in the sound bath class today a woman was texting with sound on. I know I will never find complete silence to practice in, but is it too much to ask to practice without someone stomping on the floor above your head? This was too much today and I couldn’t relax. The sound bath was amazing, but not in that space. I almost invited a friend for their first sound bath, and am so glad I didn’t. I will stick with the Lakewood location for meditation and other studios for my yoga practice.

I booked a private yoga class with Alycia for my birthday. There were about 12 of us and we all had a BLAST! We were a chatty group but she let us have fun, relax and had a great pace for beginners. We also loved that she had us pull cards which represented our spirit animals and at the end of class we read what our cards represented. All my friends/family loved it and I'll likely be back again soon! Couldn't recommend enough.

The staff, the variety of classes and workshops offered, and the serene space are what keep my husband and I coming back to Tuladhara. The classes aren’t intimidating for newcomers, and all of the teachers I’ve practiced with have been fun and welcoming. As I’ve committed more to practicing, I’ve noticed a higher level of strength and vitality in my body. I really can’t recommend yoga at Tuladhara enough!

I really like the yoga + meditation day classes with Megan Hart and Vinyasa with Katie Holbrook. I don’t work Mondays so it puts me in the right headspace to start my week. Day classes are best because it’s less noisy with the tenants upstairs. 6 pm classes are okay when medium energy because your moving more and it doesn’t need to be as quiet

I have been going to the studio for almost 3 months. I tried almost all the teachers. I love it! Every one is really attempting and respectful. I never took any class in a studio before but I hear horrible stories about how plus side people can be insulted and humiliated . I never felt nothing else than respect and kindness. The place is also pretty and clean. Thank you for the great classes! Love the Ganesha statue by the way

This studio is amazing!! I’ve been out of touch with yoga since having a baby so I love that there’s a nice variety of yoga classes, especially yin! I went to Story’s (love her) Sunday class and it whooped my butt!!! I burnt 403 calories! I love that there’s nice beginner classes, intermediate, restorative, and workshops. There’s something for everyone! I’m super thankful for finding this studio and teachers. Each of them offer something super unique :)

I am learning a great deal from the expert yoga instructors at Tuladhara. The classes are challenging for me and I’m receiving solid support and encouragement. The community at the Tacoma studio is welcoming and wonderful.

They offer a great mixture of vinyasa and strength classes! The ownership is also really friendly and personable- you never feel like you're at a big box studio. The community is the best, so outgoing and so friendly.
