Living in Tacoma, this tool library is a hidden gem, especially for those tackling projects in the charm-filled houses from the 1900s. During COVID, it became our lifeline for refinishing original hardwood floors. While a website may be missing in 2023, their social media and linktree make connecting a breeze. The affordability of tools combined with the community spirit makes this resource truly awesome, contributing to the enhancement of our neighborhoods. Highly recommended for DIY enthusiasts!

Amazing amazing amazing place! This is a library for tools and there are thousands of different things you can check out. Definitely worth checking out if you are in need or only need a tool for a one time thing instead of buying it then letting it just sit in your garage forever afterwards. They also provide free home maintenance classes and have "fix-it nights" where you can drop off certain things to be repaired for free. Check out their website for all the information and details!

This place was a lifesaver when I bought my house and remodeled. I don’t have the space or funds to store lots of tools. Friendly and helpful volunteers. I’m thankful the library is in my community!

So - if I become a member then I can "check out" tools - just like at a library! It's obvious lots of thought and energy is already in place here with a growing selection of tools. Smart.
