I brought my Nissan here to diagnose a problem with acceleration from a standstill. The problem started the day after an oil change from a different place.
The service advisor said I needed a new transmission that was going to cost more than $7K.
That didn't sound right because before the oil change the car worked fine.
I investigated the car myself and found a large crack in an air intake hose. Whoever checked the air filter during the oil change must have moved the hose which opened the crack. The hose was 12 years old so understandable.
I replaced the hose for $30. The problem disappeared.
Nissan are known for CVT transmission problems so maybe the technician just jumped to conclusions. I hope it wasn't for the money.

I came into Tacoma Nissan looking at a 2019 Nissan Altima - great condition, very well detailed and Steve was great. The car sold before I could make the jump to purchase, but Steve continued to check in with me and send me options based on my budget and preferences - even remembered small details. I didn't end up purchasing a vehicle through Tacoma Nissan, but only because I wanted a specific make, model, and year.
Steve went the extra mile, and so does Tacoma Nissan. After test driving at multiple dealerships, Tacoma Nissan stood out to me because of their friendliness and the presentation of their vehicles. I test drove many cars that weren't detailed and met many salesmen that weren't knowledgeable about Nissans - Tacoma Nissan set the standard for me and I will definitely be recommending them in the future!

We’ve had our 2021 Nissan Leaf for over 6 months and we are beyond satisfied with our experience at Tacoma Nissan. Steve Hanna has been excellent every step of the way and contacts us occasionally to see how we’re liking the car and if we have any questions/concerns. He was a fair negotiator and got us the price we wanted. We purchased the car without financing. We shopped around and had three Leafs in mind but we got the best value at Tacoma Nissan; better price than Carvana and Lee Johnson in Kirkland. This Leaf was in near perfect condition. 23 k miles. We’ve driven the car over 6 k miles and haven’t paid a penny to charge! Tacoma Nissan has a free fast charger. TCC has free chargers. First $16,000 of purchase on EVs is tax free in WA. Aden welcomed me upon arrival, took my key, and clearly explained what their plan was regarding front brake repair, which included the "what-if" scenario if rotors required replacement. He said the service would take about 2-hours and gave me his best estimate regarding price. He made sure to inform me I was receiving a 10% senior discount today. About an hour later, he let me know the rotors were able to be turned; therefore, they didn't need replacing. He said the tech was one of their best, and was doing an A+ job. A little less than two-hours into the repair, he informed me the job was completed. The tech took the car for a test drive, and said everything checked out great. The bill was slightly lower than I expected, so that was also a nice surprise. Aden, including the tech's stellar work, made this experience exceptional. There was a 1989 Corvette in the showroom that was fun to check-out during the wait, and helped pass the time. Aden is very customer-oriented, an outstanding communicator, provides clear expectations, and goes the extra mile to exceed them. He is a pleasure doing business with. I look forward to returning because of the high-quality work and fantastic Customer Service. Great job!
