I had less than 24 hour turnaround on a good size move and Tacoma Coast Movers met the challenge. They provided me a phenomenal 3 man crew who worked fast and took great care of our stuff. I would highly recommend!

I have used Local Movers three times in the past two years. The company is outstanding. They are reasonable, show up on time, answer all phone calls and questions quickly, and have an excellent moving team. I used Johnny each time. He is very professional, friendly, and hard-working. He treated my father with great courtesy and new how to really make him feel great. I will always use this moving company and Johnny and his crew any chance I get. Each of his team members were outstanding through all three moves. I highly recommend this company!

Coast Movers were absolutely horrible! Worst move and movers I've ever experienced! The movers were SLOW and barely moved anything. I moved the majority of my boxes myself AND loaded my entire POD myself. The movers, Sam and Jason, were lazy and took multiple breaks to "catch their breath" yet they took smoke breaks! They only moved a handful of large furniture and boxes that I couldn't carry myself. I was charged for 4.75 hours of work and they barely did 2 hours of actual work. Everything was already boxed and ready to go. Only a few items needed to be shrink wrapped and hauled to the Pod and truck. I had to go check on them a few times and they weren't doing anything, standing around and attempting to shrink wrap. They were not very careful either. Worst moving company and I would NEVER recommend using their services! I had another mover lined up and Jonathan Sheridan told me he could beat their price and his crew was better. NOT THE CASE! I was charged $800 to move my own stuff and load my POD. Absolutely the worst moving company around and not trustworthy!

These movers need to work on their communication skills. I was originally slated to move on 12/31 and was asked to move my date to 1/1. 1/1 shows up but the movers did not. After speaking with their manager she claimed the movers had called, and spoke to me about just canceling the move. No such call was made. I decided to give them another chance and have them move me today. 1 hour after they were supposed to be here the manager called again telling me they are snowed in and won’t be here till 2. 4 hours after they originally told me they would be. I will be telling people to not to use them. Beware if you are on a time constraint and use someone else.

I called this service to move two large heavy mirrors. I had asked for a Saturday date, was told they couldn't do Saturday but that they could do it on Friday. I had several people change their work schedules to accomodate this. The workers were to show up at 1 pm. At 1pm I called and was told by Jessica they were running late but would be there by 4:30. At 4:30 they weren't there so I called Jessica back who then asked if it could be done on Saturday (my original request). She said she would call me back with a time but here it is Monday agfternoon and I have yet to get a callback. For all this they charged $1175 for what should have been a two hour job. This company should go out of business.

Do NOT use these people. They overcharged, and will not answer their phone or on-line inquiry. Not great care was taken with the furniture, but fortunately I have been able to repair most damage. Was quoted 8 hours, and it ended up being 12.
