I have shopped here a few times over the years and they have a alot of books in great condition. However, my last visit was not a pleasant one. And older lady was working and she was very rude to me for no reason. When I walked into the store she looked at me and told me that there's no public restroom. I did not need to use the bathroom nor did I ask. I browsed through the books for a while and told me we are about to close the store and I should come back tomorrow to browse. I left , didn't purchase a damn thing and I will never go back to this bookstore ever again. They probably shouldn't hire staff from the old folks home. I don't recommend this store at all.

Great old fashioned used bookstore. Books piled from floor to ceiling. Especially good selection of military titles.

Just wanted to prepare anyone that visits this place. There are definitely a LOT of books, that is true. But if you are expecting a pleasant bookstore experience, this ain't it. A majority of the books are on shelves and organized. However, there are boxes and boxes lining almost every aisle, and no way to stop and look at anything without blocking someone's path. No coffee, no restroom, no cozy chairs, etc. It's a very claustrophobic atmosphere.It's worth checking out, but prices were not cheap, about 20 bucks for one hardcover book and an old catalog.

If I could give NEGATIVE stars, I would. Horrible customer service and extremely rude! My daughter had to go to the bathroom really bad. We were told to use the bathrooms at the Freighthouse Station. I was NOT going to let my daughter walk by herself amongst the homeless in the area. We purchased what she wanted and went to the Freighthouse with plans to come back. The old man owner in the hoarder car started screaming at us and practically hit me with his car about parking in their lot. I told him what the woman told us about the restrooms. He did not care and continued screaming at us. He told us never to come back. We will never come back to this place and I am telling everyone. Extreme fire hazard and NOT ADA friendly.

Pros: So many books!Cons: Too many books.They need a bigger space. Piles of books were all over the floor, and it was stressful to try to look through and navigate around.Absolutely not accessible for wheelchairs/walkers.They don't have a way to check inventory, but they did have a helpful and straightforward staff member who was knowledgeable about how their stock changes.

I love this book store! However, they need to offer their customers a bathroom! When I have to leave because I need a bathroom, I don't go back. They lose money because of it.

I've been going here since I came as a seven year old with my Dad. It's a difficult time to be a used book seller, but I love this place and am so glad it's still open.

HUGE collection..store is bigger than you would think, it's like a maze. I didn't give 5 stars because it isn't cataloged or necessarily organized but they have everything you could imagine from car manuals and How-to's to DVDs!

Sooo many books. I love this place. Just going in where there are ACTUAL books is amazing. Anyone will find something that interests them. I believe they said over 60,000 books. A one of a kind book store. I would work here if I had the chance.

What a great gem to find in the area. Here for a work trip and was wanting to find some books for an upcoming cruise. I was able to find a full series of a favorite author growing up. Recommend checking it out.

This is a GREAT used book store. They might not have e everything you want but they will double check and make sure for you.
