We were a little nervous working with such a small business for our used car purchase, but couldn’t have had a better experience. Jim was knowledgeable and not pushy, and once we decided to purchase the process was smooth and easy on our part. Both Jim and the owner were personable and made sure we were getting any benefits or tax write offs we could buying an EV. Definitely happy to have bought our car here! Fair and reasonably priced.

I had a great time buying a car here way easier than I thought it would be, they have a comfortable atmosphere with great people and good coffee. Bernard and Pa set me up with the exact car I’ve been looking for at a great price. Will be buying here again.

Amazing service was set on a car that in the long run would have ended up costing me more than it was worth but they got me a car with all those same features I wanted in the other car but in a reliable car that will last me a long time and keep my kids safe. I’m super happy to have worked with Bernard and super happy to have left in a beautiful car that I love.

Sooooo happy! I bought a beautiful VW Touareg from Pa and Bernard about a week ago and could not be happier with my purchase. They are not only some of the nicest people I have worked with, but they are honest and gave me a very fair price. The car is exactly how they represented it! Do not hesitate to work with them, you will not be sorry. Wish I could give them 10 stars!

BUYER BEWARE: My experience with Bright Star Motors was nothing short of a nightmare. I bought a truck from them on 7/23 after being assured that the rust on the vehicle was just surface rust. I specifically told him that I needed the truck to tow a trailer, and he assured me that the truck he was selling was more than capable.
However, when I took the truck to a mechanic the very next day, they discovered significant issues with the differentials that would cost thousands of dollars to repair. To make matters worse, the rust was much more extensive than I was led to believe and because of this, it would require a complete rear axle replacement. The mechanic also noted the underbelly had been spray painted recently, likely to cover up the extent of the rust.
I immediately contacted Bright Star Motors and demanded a refund under Washington's implied vehicle warranty, but they refused. They sent me pictures of the wrong part on eBay, and said their mechanic can fix it for $500 per. He clearly didn’t understand the vehicle he was selling, and just buys cars at auction for a quick turnaround profit. I’ve taken the truck to second and third opinions and they are all shocked he sold the car in the condition it was in.
The attorney general's office has become involved in this case, but I want to warn other potential buyers about the shady practices of this dealership. They rely on "as is" forms and prey on inexperienced buyers to sell vehicles that have not been properly inspected, leaving buyers like me stuck with unsafe and unreliable vehicles. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Bright Star Motors - the vehicles they sell will cost you more in the end, it’s not worth the risk.

Where do I start! The owner is a true professional and personable individual, he has gone above and beyond to help me and has provided some outstanding services. I will forever remember and respect this company and the employees for showing me such dedication and commitment to giving the best possible customer service and support. After purchasing a vehicle that I had a problem with he contacted me and went out his way to help pay for the needed repair and put me in contact with a great car shop after audi dealer ship ripped me off! I appreciate this business and will recommend!
