“We’ve been long-time customers at this storage facility and recently downsized to a smaller unit. We worked with Traci to find a new space and she was very nice and professional. As it turned out, we didn’t lock our new unit properly after storing our things in there and Traci called to inform us. Had she not checked on our unit, it would have remained unlocked for months until we had a reason to come back. Overall, this is a well-maintained storage facility with great employees!”

“Service was great. There was a problem with our assigned vehicle storage space being occupied. Max jumped in to action and helped us find another spot, check us in and redo our rental agreement to reflect the new space. He was incredibly helpful and we were on our way quickly.”

“This is a great place for storage space! Access to/through the facility is via Bluetooth app - secure and convenient; very clean and climate controlled. (Overhead lighting within the larger storage units would be very helpful to add.). Due to the complex nature of our storage situation, we interacted with the staff on numerous occasions for over a year before moving to another city. From setup through move out, the staff were always very accessible, accommodating and professional. Much appreciation goes to Rebecca!”
“The Narrows Marina is a good place Moor your boat, even for 1 night or 2 weeks. It has a gas dock. And also has a pump out station for the boat. It also has a lil store and a couple of restaurant's and beer. Don't drink but it has it if you do drink beer.
Update: still a great place to dock your boat gas dock still good. They make their own beer”

Megan is the absolute BEST — Tacoma’s Storage Auction Queen!
We recently stopped by the Extra Space Storage on South Tacoma Way for a storage auction, and let me tell you—Megan made the entire experience outstanding from start to finish. She was organized, upbeat, and incredibly professional, all while keeping the mood fun and welcoming.
Storage auctions can sometimes be chaotic or unclear, but not with Megan running the show. She made everything smooth and transparent, answered every question with a smile, and treated everyone with fairness and respect. Her energy and attitude were top-tier — you can tell she genuinely cares about her job and the people walking through that door.
This location is lucky to have her, and so are the customers. Whether you’re coming for a unit, an auction, or just have questions, go see Megan. She’s a total rockstar and turned what could’ve been a stressful event into a great day.

“The Manager and her staff are awesome! We appreciate the reminders as some places don’t do that at all until the due dates. They are always friendly, respectful, very approachable, and knowledgeable. They explain the process clearly and assist with your online issues (password reset). They respond to questions quickly. “I’ve been using this storage unit intermittently for decades! It sets the standard within the industry for everything… great location right off the freeway, easy to enter/exit and most importantly, it’s extremely clean and well maintained!
My friend, who’s used multiple different storage units tagged along while I was getting some things out of my unit and even she was super impressed at how clean it was!!
As with most businesses, the management has shifted a lot. But as long as I was set up for auto-pay I never had a problem with the different owners.
Cindy was super helpful and friendly with my move-out and I’m sorry to leave but I don’t plan on using any other storage unit after my experience here!”

Derrick was wonderful to work with from the initial phone call to once the unit was cleared out. Easy access, carts available, clean, and well lit. “All of the staff is great, except the manager. She is always snooping and making weird
excuses for peeking in people’s unit. She tends to over-regulate the use of the facility. Keeps the place extremely clean and secure though. No people living in units or that kind of thing. This ‘No Smoking’ establishment is enforced via fines, which is nice for those who prefer not to smell smoke of any kind.”

“We paid up front for a 20' and 40' container. Not only was this the cheapest option out of 5 companies we checked with including tax and delivery, they were very flexible on delivery. We got the 20' and then lost our help to move the 40' before it was delivered. They agreed to "exchange" it for another 20' and refund the difference even though they didn't have to. Will definitely continue using this company.”

“I started an online reservation and processed the paperwork online. It was fast and easy but I was having difficulties with the app. Between Kathy and Christopher, they were both amazing and direct with what I needed and helped as much as they could to solve the issue. I'm on a time crunch and couldn't solve the issue right away and had to cancel my rental unit but the team there , especially Chris, are amazing. Maybe in the future if I need a storage unit on the fly, I'm definitely coming back to them.”

“By far the cleanest storage unit I’ve been to. Staff is very professional, knowledgeable and polite. Plenty of storage carts to use when moving big or multiple items. Staff is routinely coming in the facility checking up on things and doing their rounds. Also for people dealing with the government shut down and are struggling to pay on time, they will try their best to help you out.”
