American Freight was a life saver. We went through multiple big name places, but couldn't find furniture to fit through our front door. This store had 6 or 7 choices that would work! The customer service was great. From Kay-Jana, who helped me pick my couches, area rug and these cooling pillows that my husband loves; to Chris who loaded our furniture flawlessly! I did not get the other young mans name who was in there as well, but he answered questions, greeted me upon entering all 3 times I came in to look at the couches. Thank you to this crew!

Not happy with my experience here at all. I looked on their website and found the item I wanted. I could not purchase it online it as it said floor model, the site said I had to go instore. So I went into the store where they had the item, and finally found it with a big question mark on a piece of paper on top of it. I asked about purchasing the item, but they said they could not sell it because it was somehow not in their system even though the exact item was on their website. Come to find out their website has been messed up for 2 weeks, which is a ridiculously long amount of time for a semi-large business. One of the employees said the item needed to be added to their inventory before they could sell it. I asked if that was something they could do and they said it would have to wait four days and come back before they could get to it. Not only that, the entire time this was going on I kept having to wait for the employees to help other customers, and not all of them came in or called before me. I had planned on purchasing the item outright, and with even willing to overlook some of the scuffs as it was an item out of box, but apparently it is too difficult to type some numbers into a computer in order to make a sale. And after they offered to have me come back in 4 days later to pick up the item (I do not live close, so no second special trip will be made), they tried to upsell me on a different item that I had absolutely no interest in. I will never come back and I will never purchase anything from them. Disappointed.Update: Should have updated this a while ago, I never got a response from the individual in the response to this review. I wish I could give negative stars to this place. Do not give them your business, go elsewhere where you can get customer service.

Love the store Kay-Jana is great!!!….she greets you as soon as you come through the door. She is awesome with helping out finding exactly what you need. Kay-Jana is a great employee and has a beautiful soul.

I ordered a chest freezer online yesterday. I chose to order from your company specifically because it would arrive the next day (today). Eventually after no follow up contact to schedule delivery time, i called the Tacoma store. It appears that they have no access to the online ordering and have had the delivery schedules cut back, but dont have a way to contact customers who have placed orders. I am livid and still without a freezer for the coolers full of food that we pulled from the old freezer that broke. The employee (Kay-Jana) at the Tacoma store who I spoke with was very sympathetic and helpful. She was also distressed that these delivery issues had been brought up with the company already and were not being addressed. Do not order online.Five stars for Kay-Jana who went above and beyond with her customer service for a company who doesn’t seem to care.
