NIGHT shift review. Rude and absent minded staff. Weird guy with awkward beard who is a lead is in another planet mentally and the big white lady with unkept hair is what you would expect one working at safeway to be like- rude and idiotic. The daytime staff are nice- a little weird but its safeway and some staff is just like that. I wont ever go back to this Safeway just because of this experience. Also the bathrooms always smell like a dump but when you gotta go- you gotta go i guess. Nothing but tweakers and promiscuous workers shopping there at night which ofc its their hour. If I didnt need to go there- i wouldnt have.

This is a pretty good Safeway with good workers and music and selections for food.

This Safeway is updated to the modern Floorplan, that many people who shop at Safeway would be very used to as soon as you walk in. It was VERY clean, but I shop early, and they had just cleaned. Bakery, deli, hot counter.. it's all there.
Customer service was excellent, but then again, I shop around 7am. This is the best grocery store on Pac Ave in both directions for a minute. Would recommend.

Me and my coworkers come get lunch from here everyday and we get happy when we see these two amazing people right here! Always great service and a smile !! Too bad they dont work daily !

Ok experience at my last visit found what I was looking for without even attempting to ask anyone after my last experience here.
Produce lady at least asked me if I needed help finding anything so that's the reason for the additional stars.

The bathrooms are worse than the worst gas station bathroom you've ever seen. I'm talking trailhead port-o-potty is better than this Safeway's bathroom.

They were ruder than freaking the most "ghetto" walmart that has the world's lazest workers working there. 1) So as I get to the self check out the worker the watches over the self check out (who was a male) stands about 3-5ft. Behind me and stands there watching me not only super intensely but super creeper like the entire time I'm checking out items up until I pull out my ebt food card to pay, once I pulled out my card he finally went back to the register where the worker usually overlooks everyone in the self check out area.

Kendall H. Was so rude and miserable the whole time , the look on her face as she’s staring there looks like she can’t stand the costumers , and if you try and talk to her at all , she makes it clear that she can’t stand you . She’ll say she doesn’t know how to do the simplest of tasks , in hopes that you’ll just leave and if you try and help her by showing her she cuts you off and try’s to use bullying and intimidation tactics then when another employee arrives she changes her whole demeanor immediately. She should not work in costumer service !

I just want to give a shout out to shevelle in the customer service department. (Hope that is her name, I quickly glanced) She is the epotime of wonderful customer service. After the day I was having and in a time crunch, she quickly helped me with western union transaction and had the most inviting personality and a huge smile. She was a breathe of fresh air after the terrible customer service I've experienced lately at many different businesses.I visited on 2/9 around 4pm, thank you again for going above and beyond providing 5 ? customer service!!!

I really wish the deli would change their fryer oil every once in a while. They constantly overcook all the fried items. If you'd look at their food today everything is dark brown and dry. When they do change their oil the food improves dramatically. I have told their deli staff, they agreed with me, and told me to tell their deli manager. I told their deli manager and she seemed very uninterested. I don't know how the head deli manager still has a job...
