I will no longer be patronizing this store. Yes, the homeless bums aren't their problem and the City of Tacoma should take the blame, but it seems like corporate has also given up on trying to improve this store. The parking situation is always a mess. They have paper bags with no handles. There is usually only one person at the deli counter and never enough cashiers open despite record profits. An employee told me that's how they design the schedule so it's on purpose. It's so much better driving the extra ten minutes to go to the one on Bridgeport Way.

Fred Meyer 19th and Stevens is no longer the store it once was. Due to safety issues and crime I am opting to travel 2 minutes down the road to the Fred Meyer market place. The staff have become irritable and rude. They now do not bag your groceries. I've shopped there since 1977 but no more! So sad!

Lot of selection. Most things cost more unless they are on sale. Make sure they ring up the sale price, been nearly taken a few times over that.

I've been going here for years. I like the wide variety of products and prices. Fred Meyer has almost non existent customer service. They've also reduced their cashiers to hardly anything, long lines. There's really no heart to the place. I bought tomatoes yesterday and opened them up this morning, and they were covered in mold. The produce section s doesn't seem clean or well stocked. I also am kind of over the parking lot. A lot of shady people. I think I will not be back for awhile.

Nice grocery store where you can get a little of everything. Need a shirt, loaf of bread and Starbucks. This is your spot.

This store is so under staffed it's ridiculous. Checkout Lines are always insanely long, shelves are never fully stocked, and most employees are overworked or don't care. I feel bad for the to good employees because they have to deal with frustrated customers, and pick up the slack from being understaffed. I don't think it's the employees fault. I think this store is poorly managed. I've been coming to this Fred Meyer off and on for the past 8 years. Sadly I've seen it steadily decline. My last review was after their most recent remodel and my review hasn't improved. I try to avoid this store as much as I possibly can, but sometimes I give it another try. Usually I regret my visit after.

Really frustrating! Deli counter at 9am is staffed with at least three people who wouldn't acknowledge me as I stood there for a minimum of 5minutes. I was ended up walking away. The online order runners - several of them were consistently in the way. Almost bulldozing you over and not considering us as customers. Bagger was clearly upset we had our own bags. I don't think I'll shop there anymore.

Drive-up/Pick-up service is extraordinarily slow. Over half of my order was missing. The worker took photos of what was missing and went to collect them, and although one item was out of stock and they promised to refund it, they still forgot one item. Frustrating.

will no longer shop at Fredmeyers. They have found ways to steal from customers. Miss labeling or not labeling at all and i believe this is done on purpose. Use to be my favorite store, now i will do my shopping at Safeway or Walmart,

I know Fred Meyer does not care about poor reviews, but I'm going to write one anyway. The associates are so rude, especially in the produce department. There's this black guy who works there and he was in my way and was talking to his friend, I politely said "excuse me" to grab something and he just looks and me with the rudest look as if I'm an inconvenience. Not just him, but all produce department workers are so rude. Not sure why they work in customer service? Go find another job!

Went to use the bathroom and could smell it from the hallway before even entering... smells like a forest fire, asshole, pee, sweat, and was filthy dirty from floor to walls to ceiling... damn near threw up had to go outside after to get some air and the rest of the store is just as dirty... would rate 0 stars if possible

if yall get the chicken here...make sure you got a gallon of water next to ya because this food as dry as mother teresa. I could barely swallow this down my gullet. I wouldnt be surprised if multiple people have died choking on the dry chicken they serve at this deli.

I go here because I know where everything is and it's a bigger more spacious store then other stores in the area. Cashiers are always friendly. My complaint is that I saw a rat in the frozen food area today. I was so grossed out to see a large rodent scurrying around. Then my 8 year old noticed that there were rat traps everywhere..... Infestation? I don't know.. Does the health department know? Probably won't go back anytime soon.

I wanted to get my groceries within 30 minutes, but when I arrived to the store, and walked to where they keep the carts, I saw no carts but what I did see was this, a worker on his phone not doing his job, no wonder this store is rated so low, I expect better Fred Meyers.

Well stocked grocery store during item shortages! And with friendly staff that helped me out finding an item I needed....'Nuff said!
