I won’t be shopping here again, and I recommend that parents think twice before buying kids gear/shoes here. We have been REI members for decades, but they no longer stand behind the products they sell. My daughter’s shoe sole separated after less than 6 months and they won’t do anything about it. Their satisfaction guarantee is hollow. We were previously happy to pay a premium for the customer service and assurance that REI would back the products they sold. But the $30 Sketchers we bought elsewhere are still going strong after 18 months, whereas these fell apart and the REI manager just offered to sell me some shoe glue. A really disappointing experience and one we’ll certainly be considering for future purchases.

Bought a pair of Oofos Sandles that started coming apart after a month. Just wanted to exchange and even though I had my credit card transaction showing it was charged they would not help me without proof of purchase ( receipt or confirmation email) Guess credit card statement with a charge from REI for exact amount of Sandles is not good enough. Won't buy from REI again!

I like this rei. They usually have really good deals. the staff is always nice and helpful and will answer any question you have about pretty much anything in the store. I need wide toe shoes and they have these! So this was definitely a win for me! I also love Cotopaxi and they always have nice stuff from this brand. Out of all the Reis this is our go to.

This review is specifically for the Bike Shop. Robbie and Mattie are a dream. Between the two my bike (I've brought two to them so far) have been fixed six ways from Sunday. The whole team is great but those two have always treated me with kindness, professionalism, and knowledge. I will not only keep coming back to this store for my bike needs but for anything REI supplies due to just how fantastic the service has always been. I'm sold, to the point I tell my friends and family to go there. Keep it up you REI, you are making the whole experience better for this customer who HATES shopping.

I love this REI store. The staffs are friendly and professional. Matt has been super helpful. He helped me about my snowboard boot issue and I didn't have to spend a dime! It's a great experience and will visit here again!

Incredibly knowledgeable and cool staff! Meg helped me decide on a ski jacket I LOVE for my first snowboarding adventure. They expertly weighed pros/cons across brands, fits, features, and price, to help me come to the best decision for me. Great selection, and also caught a great sale. Best in-store experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was looking for a pair of winter snowshoeing shoes, and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in picking out a pair. Needed a pair of winter pants, and another staff member was very helpful and knowledgeable on helping me select a pair.Reserved snowshoes and got my snowboard wax. The staff was very friendly, answered my questions, and did the waxing and reservation in a very timely manner.

Transaction on 1/19: Maybe management should speak to their employees about upselling customers in a legitimate practice and not con them? I sent my boyfriend in to get a hat and had a gift card to purchase it with, the exact amount needed. The man who helped him told him if he just grabbed some candy for $3 he could get a membership for “free” that his purchase would qualify him for a $30 gift card and that he would just turn around and use the card to pay for the $30 membership, no catch just “go ahead and do it.” Right, until my boyfriend has now spent $40 more then intended and the associate keeps playing “innocent” saying he’s not quite sure why the gift card doesn’t work, I just can’t get it to work I don’t know why…except sir on the gift card you handed him it literally says “card vaild the day AFTER receipt.” Probably to prohibit exactly what you were intending to do. You knew what you were doing and you took advantage of someone who doesn’t like to be pressured or make a scene when things go wrong, he took your word for it and at the end of day he ended up spending money he didn’t want to because he was told it would be “free.” Shady practice, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out the associates make commission off membership sign ups. Now we have a membership we don’t feel good about, and a gift card for $30 that expires on 2/14 that will likely go unused after this interaction.
