We are doing a remodel and I wanted a pod to store furniture during the remodel. So I got on line and ordered a pod to be delivered. Strongly recommend that you do not use this company. I had a pod ordered and told delivery would this last Thursday between 7-10am. It did not arrive. Got a message that my time was changed to 12-3pm, it did not arrive, got a message that it was changed to 3-5pm, it did not arrive. Got a message it would be today, Friday, from 7-10am. It did not arrive. Called support, they said it would be here 12-3pm, it did not arrive. called support, told it would be here by 4pm, it did not arrive, called support again, told it would be here at 6:10 and driver was an hour away. It has not arrived again, it is now 6:45 and dark, I have to call off the labor crew for tomorrow and pay. This company is completely incompetent. #Pods.com UPDATE: Saturday morning, no call or email from PODS.com, finally at 9am, I call the "helpline", they say they will check and call me back. Twenty minutes later they call and say the spoke with the local manager and he says they can deliver it Monday morning! I tell them to cancel the whole damn thing.

We scheduled out a delivery quite a while in advance and are told the day of the delivery that it would be postponed for three days. We have movers coming to help us load it tomorrow morning and they tell us this today. Now I get to go find some other solution less than 24 hours before we need it.Beware of these guys, they don't care about your schedules.

Ordering POD was simple enough, we didn't have an address to the area we where moving, that was not a problem they told us after we loaded they would pick it up and store it in a central location, then when we find a house we call and have it dropped of no problem!Wrong, been looking for a house 3 months, finally found one excited to get our stuff, called to have it delivered......What do you mean you can't deliver to my house? It's not gated community, it's just a house one a regular street but they "don't service" our area!!!! So what do they offer for help? For ME to rent a truck go to thier facility and unload pod into a Uhaul truck ourselves, wait what??? We have o unload it ourselves at thier pod facility. My wife has stage 3 cancer she will be no help, I hurt my back and literally and verifiable have surgery in 2 weeks and this is thier solution. I wrote to everyone I could in POD company, which let me tell you is dam near impossible to talk to anyone other then low level csr. Do your due diligence and verify delivery address before buying a home otherwise your furniture might be held hostage at thier facility which is going to cost me an extra 1000 by this I rent the truck and pay moving help. Such a scam of a company.

PODS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I have tried for weeks to get PODS to resolve a claim for damaged furniture due to rainwater leakage of a PODS unit in our driveway. "Ashey", the customer service person, has never once answered her phone and any communication is from off-shore people unable or disempowered to resolve anything. "72 hour business day response" is a joke. No sense at all that they care on any level. I am trying to resist contacting my homeowner insurance and paying a $1000.00 deductible but it appears that I will have to. Today is December 28th. My claim was filed on December 8th and we have now lived in a newly remodeled home for 20 days without furni.

My pod made it to this facility on the 6th of July and was scheduled to be delivered on the 13th I checked for the window of delivery on the 12th, only to find my delivery address removed and no date scheduled I re set my address and now it's due to be delivered the 21st. 10 days later! Unacceptable I will raise this issue when rent comes up and I better have the right to that 10 days added free on the month.

This branch was supposed to deliver my container for the last 3 days and I find out today, I am still not on the schedule. I have called customer service now 7 times and have gotten the run around and been assured on several occasions that my container was being delivered that day and still no container. I would not recommend PODS at all, since my experience and several co workers have had similar experiences. PODS seems to love to point fingers and not take responsibility. Communication is non existent on the Seattle end.

Had an emergency needed something out of my pod right away and the customer service over the phone and in person was excellent! Vlad explained to me why the require 24-notice to access pods and it totally made sense. He told me it’s deep in there but I can get it out in 10 min! So personable and understanding truly got me out of a jam thank you so much! Will definitely be recommending this location and the PODS service to all of my peers

*Highly Recommend* Due to personal preference, I unloaded my POD at the storage facility. It was ready for me within minutes of arrival and simple to schedule subsequent access for other days during the week until empty. There was ample room to unload without being in the way of any operations on site. If you self-unload, be prepared to do it outside. Staff were courteous and helpful. Overall good, smooth experience.

Andrew, the driver from Pods in Tacoma did a great job delivering my Pod today. He was able to get it into a tight alleyway space in front of my garage. When I later discovered that my contents had shifted and I couldn’t get the door of the pod open, he came back and helped me. Excellent, professional service!

This rating doesn't reflect any particular branch but PODS in general. When I initiated the contract with PODS to have my stuff moved seemed pretty simple. Didn't have an address at that moment but knew the city I was going to move to. Well, the day came when I secured a place and called to set up my delivery to be told that my new address could not be delivered because it was outside the delivery range. So I started to inquire as to why and kept getting told “we'll send up a report and you'll get a response in 24-48 hours”. That happened 3 times with no response at all, mixed with traveling across the country was not ideal. After dealing with this for a week I asked to be transferred to the department that would be handling my delivery to the new location. I found out why it could not be delivered. My container is being sent to another state. There is no ETA as to when I will get my stuff back. Military moves are stressful enough for families but PODS made it way worse. Not to mention having to pay an additional $2500 to have my container redelivered to the correct location. To be told I “might be refunded” pending the outcome of an internal investigation if that happens. After what I've seen it's highly unlikely and if it does happen I'm sure it will be months before I get any results. It's very disappointing that PODS has not taken any responsibility for their mistake at my family's expense.
