Honest review.
The amount of positive reviews are actually minimal as they truly do deserve way more credit and praise than they are worth. We all know subarus are not easy to work on. Especially when it comes to modding.
There are shops...but there are shops that are impressive and trustworthy. Now if you see many customers with numerous subarus in the works, then you know it's a legit shop.
Working on a new model can be frustrating. I took in for a big brake kit swap and despite being difficult on my end due to certain circumstances, they were truly patient with me and worked on it to ensure I am safe to drive. To me, that is trust and worthy of being praised as word of mouth advertisement is truly important in the subaru community. I sincerely hope that we have to realize not everything will be magically fixed sometimes and I learned my lesson to prepare better on my end. But despite that, they were patient with me and worked with me instead of driving me away with half-effort work. That's respect right there!
And empathizing how tough customer service is (I work in the healthcare industry), giving patience and respect and trusting them that they are the masters of Subaru goes a long way. I hope this review can be helpful and promoting PIA to the fullest as I take automotive knowledge and skills with big respect. No place is perfect or ever will be. But effort and being patient with an anxious person like myself is truly remarkable.

Amazing Subaru specialty shop with friendly but most importantly knowledgeable staff. Thanks to these subi freaks I’m now pushing 400whp on an IAG550 on flex fuel and near full bolt ons with FMIC. These guys will take exceptional care of your project and daily drivers.
So I’m writing this review today because I was on my way to a maternal fetal medicine appointment for my wife’s ultrasound of the 20wk gestation baby twins. On my way there I heard a loud pop under the hood and started to lose power, then ultimately stalled out on the corner of an intersection. My first reaction was to call PIA for support. Nick answered the phone with his beautiful sexy voice and said “gotta be the intercooler pipe man”. Sure enough he was correct. The charge pipes became separated due to a faulty clamp. I ran to the nearest autozone (excellent review for them as well) gathered supplies and ran back to the car. It was a BINGO! Car runs great! But most importantly I MADE IT TO THE MATERNAL FETAL MEDICINE CLINIC ON TIME!
Thank you Nick! Another haggis is in your future!

PIA went out of there way to help me in a pinch. Great guys who answered all my questions to make sure I had the right parts for my project. I can't speak for all their part prices, but the parts I have bought from them where lower priced than online. I will absolutely be taking as much business as I can to them.

They tuned my car and did a couple of quick repairs that were found in the pre dyno inspection. Everyone in PIA is very knowledgeable and patient. Absolutely no issues with the car after it was tuned.
Came back to edit this review. Any Subaru question these guys answer with a ton of knowledge. I've had a million questions that I had not thought of at the time of getting my car tuned and they come through every time.

I'm glad I found Pacific Auto Import and I'm very happy with the work they performed on my Subaru. In this area, many people work on Subarus, but I wanted to find somebody who knew the specifics of my car's generation, its quirks, etc. I definitely found that at PIA, as it's not just a business, but an entire family focused on Subarus. Finally, they were more reasonably priced than some quotes I got from other popular shops closer to me. They're friendly, experienced, professional and I highly recommend them!

I've taken my 2015 WRX there a few times now. They installed a number of parts for me and tuned my car accordingly. Each guy I spoke with has been friendly and ready to answer any questions. This is a great shop with decades of experience.

Went from trailer to driving in a day. They even secured sensor wiring and perfectly topped off fluids that weren’t requested. Professional? Check. Experts? 100%. I’ll be heading back to PIA in the future that’s for dang sure.

I had planned ahead to bring my 2019 WRX because of some boost issues I’m experiencing. When I did go to drop off, I had questions about the check engine code, about what’s going to be done, asking for clarification on things. I was met with “That’s just what the car does. It’ll keep doing that.” With the check engine light on, I’m trying to get the issue resolved not told to “just down shift.”
I’m not savvy in car repairs, but I’m not an idiot. Front desk guy made me feel like an idiot, “I’ve been working on Subarus 30 years I know what I’m talking about” in front of another customer. I don’t know if it’s my lack of knowledge or the fact that I’m a woman, but he was absolutely unprofessional and rude.
Women, go with a professional and respectful shop.
I had questions that were left unanswered and met with hostility.
